Visiting their son (Wei and his friends)

[Miss Te]

A small, open cart pulled by one draft animal pulled up to the Living Quarters.

"Oh! Look at this big place! Is our son really in there?" A woman asked her husband. The woman had a fair complexion and was very pretty. She held an umbrella to keep the sun off of her.

"My, what a large place! I can hardly wait to see our son! P'u, sweetheart, let;s go find him!" The woman could hardly keep her seat.

[P'u]

The man smiled. His face was bronzed and weather-beaten, but there was a gentle light in his eyes. "Patience, my dear, patience."

P'u laughed and helped his wife out of the cart. They reached the door and P'u pulled a datapad from his belt.

"Through the door, up the turbolift." The man escorted his wife inside, found the turbolifet and took it up to Wei's floor.

"Now we find room number..." He walke ddown the hall, counting of the doors until he came to the right one. "Here it is!"

He lifted a large hand, and knocked on the door, then waited, sroking his moustache.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei opened the door and looked out. "How may I help--DAD! MOM! SO good to see you!" WEi laughed and gave his parents a big hug. "Come in, take a seat on the bed there, and I'll go get you two something to drink!"

Wei let his parents in and hurried to the kitchenette to make something for his parents.

[Miss Te]

Wei's mom put her hands on her hips. "And I suppose you are too big now that you are a Jedi to give your mother a kiss?"

Te sat down, pretneding to be upset. "It seems our little boy does not need his mother anymore."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei stopped in his tracks. "OH! I hd forgotten." Wei rushed over to his mother and planted a quick kiss on her cheek. "I love you, Mom."

[P'u]

P'u laughed. "Son, when will you learn?"

P'u laughed again and clapped Wei on the back. "How has your training been here? I imagine it has not been as intense as your Grandfather's!"

P'u wore a kung fu uniform similar to Wei's. P'u sat down, brushin the dust of the road off of his sleeves.

[Wei Wu Wei]

"Training? Training here is intense. Every day means having to apply your knowledge of the Force in a different way. Not a day goes by that my skills in the Force are not pushed to the limits."

Wei went back to go finish making his parents' drinks.

"I have lots of friends here. MAybe they will come to visit and you can meet them." Wei had sensed his mother's next question.

[Miss Te]

"I would like to meet your friends. And by the way, are any of these friends lady friends?" Te asked playfully.

[Krieger]

A dark figure walked into Wei's room. He had heard unfamiliar voices. They resimbled those of a Wei's. "Uh, Wei... is that you?" He said in confusion.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia tapped on the door and peeked in past Krieger. The usual smile on her face. "Hello Wei, what are you up to?" She spotted Wei's visitors and blushed. "I am sorry I did not mean to innturupt anything.."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled. "Not interrupting anything. Maia, Krieger, these are my parents! I had been hoping you guys would stop by so you could meet them."

Wei pulled 2 more glasses and made drinks for Krieger and Maia.

"Mom, Dad, The big one is Krieger and the lady is Maia. Maia, Krieger, this is my mom, Te, and my dad, P'u."

[Miss Te]

Te smiled as she saw Maia. "Wei! She is so pretty! Is she your girlfriend?" Te got up and went to hug Maia. "Have you taking good care of my little Wei? He is so lucky to have such good friends. I'm so glad to meet you! Now come and sit down."

Te took Maia by the hand and led her to the bed. "Now, tell me. Has my son behaved since he has been here?" te could not resist gossip, especially gossip about her own son.

[P'u]

P'u smiled and shook Krieger's hand. "You sure are a big fellow. Nice to meet you. Wu Wei hasn;t been causing you trouble has he? If he has, you let me know, and I'll set him straight!" P'u's eyes twinkled and a smile was on his face.

"Tell me about yourself."

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia blushed an even brighter red. She would have protested but all she could do was sputter. Bowing low to Wei's parents she shot a worried glance at Wei. "It is an honor to meet you both. He is a wonderful person and an even better friend." She shot out in-between his mother words.

[Wei Wu Wei]

"No, Mom. She is not my girlfriend," Wei blushed, but not as red as Maia did. Ange was out somewhere. He hoped she would come back soon. Wei really wanted her to meet his mom and dad.

[Samanosuke Akechi]

Samanosuke walked into Wei's room, "Hey Wei how are things goin." He looked around at everyone. Then he looked over and saw Wei's mom and dad. "Auntie Te, Uncle Pu. It is so good to see you again. I wish Satsa would show up. He would be glad to see you again. So how have you guys been?"

[P'u]

P'u grasped Samano's hand in a firm shake. "How have you been, you rascal? I haven;t seen you since you were but so tall." P'u held his hand up off the ground to show Samano's height.

[Miss Te]

Te saw Samano and jumped up with surprise. "I didn;t know you were here! Come and give your Auntie a hug!" Te held her arms out and scooped Samano up in a warm embrace. "Look at how you've grown!"

[Samanosuke Akechi]

"It is great to see you guys. Hopefully Satsa will shw up if he is not to busy. So tell me how have you been? Why you guys decide to come?" Samanosuke looked back at Wei, "Hey cuz you need help in the kitchen."

[Ansatsu]

Ansatsu was on his way back from training when he heard laughter echoing from Wei's room. He cracked open the door and saw his brother, Maia, and then Wei. He looked closer and saw his Aunt and Uncle. They all looked really happy. Just for fun he thought he would scare somebody. He aimed carefully brought his arm up and shot a star. It landed in the floor avoiding everyone. He threw the door open and landed in front of the star. He picked it up and said, "Sorry, I guess I must have dropped it. So did I scare ya?" Ansatsu smiled and looked at his Aunt's suprised face. His Uncle was laughing. He looked over at Samano. He looked almost mad. "Lighten up bro, it was just a joke. So how has everybody been?"

[Miss Te]

Te put her hands on her hips before pulling Ansatsu up by his ear. "You could hve put out someone's eye with that thing. You mind yourself better in the future."

[P'u]

Wei's dad had been laughing at his nephew until he saw Satsa get pulle up by his ear. "Yes, you should not have done that."

P'u turned around and covered his mouth and tried not to laugh.

[Miss Te]

Te shot her husband a withering glance. "Don;t you laugh," she said. "You'll only encourage those bad habits."

[Ansatsu]

Ansatsu felt like his ear was being ripped off, "OWWW! Let me go Aunt Te!" He looked at her, "Okay, I promise I will be good. Jeez your worse than my mom was." Ansatsu picked up his star and looked at Te and Pu. He hugged his aunt and then shook his Uncle's hand. "So Te what have you been doin? Same for you Uncle Pu. I hope you guys have been okay. So anyway what ya cookin Wei?" Ansatsu removed his mask and his long hair hit the ground. He smiled, "Like the hairstyle. It is customary for the ninjas of the Fuma School."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled at his cousin. "They have been doing the usual thing. TRavelling, helping those that need it. You know how it is. I'm making people drinks."

Wei handed everyone a glass and then went to get glasses for Samano and Satsa. He came back soon with the glasses and a pitcher. "Lemonade, anyone?"

[Zeke]

Zeke...appeared...from seemingly nowhere, probably from behind Krieger.

"MOM AND DAD!"

He flew at them in a flying, hugging tackle. P'u dodged and he missed Te completely. Zeke found himself upside down on the far wall.

"Wei has parental units!"

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei laughed. "That I do. Mom, Dad, this is Zeke." Wei pointed to the smoosh on his wall.

[Miss Te]

"Aaawww. He;s so sweet!" Miss Te dropped Ansatsu's ear, and ran over to help Zeke get right side up. "Aren;t you so happy?" Te gave Zeke a monstrous squeeze.

[P'u]

P'u now found it to be a good tie to finish laughing , and did so. "So full of energy! You'll have to forgive me young man, for dodging you. It was a reflex reaction."

Pu' turned to his son. "Look at all your friends! I'm so glad to see you with lots of friends."

[Sejah Haversh]

"Prawns, check. Scallions, check. Bean paste, check. Ketchup, check. Red chilis, check. Chili oil, um, oh, come on, don't tell em I forgot the chili oil!" Sejah muttered to himself as he reviewed his ingedients for a new recipe he was going to try. He had checked out a few video chips from the Archives on cooking, and one he found quite interesting. It was called "Iron Chef", and he was attempting to re-create one of the dishes from it. Prawns and chili sauce.

Unfortunatley, he didn't have any chili oil, so, he grumbled and shut off the stove burner, setting his wok aside and put his cold ingredients back into the mini-fridge. He didn't want to run to the store again, so, he decided to see if he could find anyone who might have some in the LQ. Only Wei popped into Sejah's head, so, the mongoose wandered out into the halls to see if he could find his room.

Being mostly illiterate, Sejah had a hard time determining whose room was whose by the nameplates on the doors. But, Wei Wu Wei should be easy to spot, for the W was one of his favorite letters in appearance, he he should be able to spot it.

But, luck was even further in the mongoose's favor, as he saw a dor open and heard Wei's voice comign from inside. Thinkign it was probably just Zeke or something, Sejah began to speak before he rounded the corner into his room. "Hey, Wei, hope you don't mind, I was just about to cook some... Oh, sorry, I didn't know you had guests," he apologized when he saw Wei's parents, Zeke, Anatsu, and Maia as well. "Um, I can wait, I didn't mean to interrupt, sorry."

[Wei Wu Wei]

"Oh, no problem. Sejah, this is my mom and dad." Wei laughed and went to the kitchen. "What you need, man?"

[Miss Te]

Miss Te had only to hear the word "cook." Before anyone could blink, she had beaten Wei to the kitchen.

"Sejah, sweetheart, what you cooking? You bring all that stuff down here to Wei's room this instant and let me help you with your cooking."

[Zeke]

Zeke, just recently having been helped up, was now once more upon the floor as Te let him go and bustled off to the kitchen.

"Nice to meet you too..." he mumbled past his newfound headache.

[Sejah Haversh]

A nervous grin gracelessly pulled on Sejah's face as We's mom invited him to come and cook in Wei's kitchen. Glancing at Wei, he didn't get much help, so the mongoose replied out of reflex, "Um, okay. I'll bring it down."

Then he remembered that he hadn't introduced hismelf yet, and he nodded to Wei's parents. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Wei, I'm Sejah Haversh, another padawan here. Just a second, I'll be right back."

With that, he ducked out of the room and hurried back to his own to gather all his supplies into his wok and carried it all back. Squeezing past the others, Sejah made his way into the kitchenette and started to unload. "I was planning on trying to make a recipie I saw called Prawns and Chili Sauce," he explained to Te, though being careful to not be loud enough to interrupt other conversations.

[Miss Te]

Miss Te smiled at Sejah. "Good to meet you, Sejah." Then she turned to Zeke. "Oh, I'm sorry sweetie. Come here, and I'll give you something for your head." Te reached in a pouch that was tied about her waist and retrieved from it an herb.

"Wei, I trust you know what to do with that." Then she returned to Sejah's cooking.

"So, where is the recipe?"

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled. "Yes, mother." Wei found a small dry bowl and broke up the herb into the bowl. Then he got some warm water from the sink and mixed it inot the bowl.

"Zeke, here's a spoon. Stir that, and breath the smell in for a bit. Not sure why, but it does wonders for headaches. Oh, and I suggest you drink that also."

[P'u]

P'u laughed and gave Zeke a light pat onthe shoulder. "No worries. My Te is a very excitable woman. But she will always take care of you." P'u laughed and sat down in a chair he had found in a corner.

"Wei, we should find some chairs for your company to sit in." P'u leaned forward and rested his forearms on his knees. This was a nice change. Everything was so busy and lively. Wei's father sat and watched the goings on. It was so interesting to him.

[Sejah Haversh]

The Nehantite had already turned on one of the burners to low, and poured a shallow bowl of cooking oil into it. When Te asked him for the recipie, all he could do was smile nervously again and reply by tapping his temple with a paw. "It's up here, ma'am, I memorized it off a cooking show. Think I just need some chili oil, was all."

Lightly he dropped quite a few of the prawns into the hot oil, and shook the wok handle as he had seen Chen do on the show. As they deep fried, he laid out the scallions on a chopping board and searched around for a kitchen knife. "Um, Wei, where do you hid your knives here? Need to chop these up. Anybody else want some? I don't think I have enough for everybody, but, I can try."

As an afterthought, he mumbled, "Probably need to make some rice, too..."

[Wei Wu Wei]

"Knives? My mom will find one. And don;t worry about not having enough. Just recite the recipe and before you know it, you'll have more than enough food to feed a small army."

Wei ran out and came back with some foldable chairs. "I have enough for all!" And began to unfold them for people to sit on.

[Sejah Haversh]

As he added more prawns to the hot oil, Sejah began to explain what all he needed, and then Te passed him a knife and he proceeded to mince the scallions he had brought. He had a fair amount fo ingredients, hoping to feed himself for a few days on the leftovers he would have. But, feeding his friends and friends' family was alright, too.

Soon the prawns were fried enough, and he picked them otu with chopsticks and set them in a bowl while draining the oil into another. Some rice was started in a pot on another burner, and Sejah scooped his chopped scallions, bean paste, chili oil, and a few healthy squirts of ketchup into the wok and stirred it on a low setting, letting it simmer. It would be a while before it would be ready.

Placing a lit on the wok, Sejah turned back to the others and asked, "If it's not too intrusive, what brings you here, Mr. and Mrs. Wei?"

[P'u]

P'u looked at Sejah. "Intrusive? Not at all. We came to see how our son was doing in his training and to see that he was all right. I was worried at first that Wei would not have many friends, but I see that my worry was not necessary."

"So, tell us son, how are things with you? You told me about your training, now tell us about other things. It's been so long and it has been a while since you wrote us."

[Krieger]

"Wei, you never told me bout your parents. For shame." He said mockingly. "Let's give Mama a hug." He lifted the dainty woman in the air, hugging her softly. "Wei, your mother is beautiful." He said sucking up like a good friend should. "I'll bet she cooks like a dream!"

[Miss Te]

Te squeaked as she was lifted into the air. "Silly boy! Let me down or you won;t get any of this food that Sejah is making. If he decides to share it." Te laughed, and managed to get to where she could hug Krieger back.

[P'u]

P'u laughed. "That she does. And flattery will get you nowhere, except if you are dealing with Te." P'u laughed again. "You seem to be a strong fellow. Are you any good in a fight?"

[Ange Tot]

She smelt food, she was hungry, and well she didn't feel like cooking, that was for sure. The fact that the smell was coming from Wei's room made it even better. She knocked on the door.

"Hello? Wei?"

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei went to the door to answer it. "Ange! Good to see you!" He gave his fiance a hug. "My parents came to visit me, and I hoped you would be around to meet them. Please, come on in."

Wei led Ange in by the and said to his parents, "Mom, Dad, This is Ange."

[P'u]

P'u got up fromhis seat and went over to shake Ange's hand. "Hello, my lady, nice to meet you."

P'u turned to Wei and said, "You sure know how to pick them, son. She;s a beauty."

[Ange Tot]

She shook Wei's dad's hand, her face turning redder and redder. Wei HAD told her that his parents travelled, but she wasn't really expecting to meet them.

"Ah...A pleasure to meet you both."

[P'u]

"The pleasure is all ours. Wei's mother in in the kitchen."

P'u turned and called his wife. "Come here, dear, there is somone you have to meet!"

[Miss Te]

Te came out of the kitchen, wiping her hands on a rag. "Yes dear?"

Te's eyes beheld Ange and Te was once again all smiles. "She's adorable! Wei, look at her!"

Te gave Ange a hug and stepped back to look at her. "So, Wei, is this your girlfriend? I know you have one, or else you would have written your mother more often."

Te began to take Ange to the kitchen. "Now, tell me all about how he treats you and what sorts of dates he takes you on."

[Ange Tot]

Her face was completely red now, and then she noticed Maia and gave her a look that pretty much said she didn't want to do this.

"Uh...dates? Well, we did, uh.....Talk with each other on a rainy day, and he taught me how to swim....He treats me very nicely."

She didn't know what to say, as Wei's mother dragged her into the kutchen, this was embarassing, and she was glad noone from her own family could see this.

[Krieger]

"Hehehe... I can't help you outta twenty questions, but I did help out your son a while back." He said sternly.

[Zeke]

Zeke sat on the floor with the herbs before him.

"Neato."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei jumped on Krieger's back and scrambled to be seen over Krieger's shoulder.

"That he did. Oh, and Zeke, If you do indeed decide to drink it, take it slow."

[Zeke]

"Kay."

Zeke left it on the floor, doing as he was told. The headache was clearing, so he doubted if he'd drink it.

[P'u]

P'u returned to his chair.

"So, what sorts of things do you Jedi learn? Let;s see some demonstration!"

[Miss Te]

Miss Te finished dragging Ange into the kitchen. "Now Sejah dear, be careful around this hot stove. You don;t want to burn all that lovely fur of yours."

Te turned back to Ange. "So, tell me about yourself. And tell me about Wei. How did you meet him?"

[Ange Tot]

"Uh.....How did I meet Wei?"

a look of consetration crosses her face for a second.

"I do belive it was in the halls, he was looking for a room, so I decided to help him....Then when he picked this one, we sorta went to the library."

[Sejah Haversh]

Though Sejah resented the comment about making sure not to burn himself, Sejah said nothing. It was better to let her give advice, he thought as he cooked.

After a while, the rice was near ready, so the mongoose 3poured the bowl of prawns into the sauce that was simmering in his wok and began to lightly stir and mix it with a large pair of chopsticks. He wasn't as good as the chef he had seen on the holovid program, but, he was learning. The spicy smell cleared hsi sinuses, and slowly began to waft through the small living quarter. He knew it wouldn't be long before everythign was ready. But, seeing as he couldn't think of anythign really interesting to say, he stood back out of the way and continued to watch his cooking.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei got a ball and lifted it into the air using the Force. "Ok, Dad, here is some Force push-pull stuff. "Watch out," Wei said, as he made the ball float toward one of his comrades.

[Ansatsu]

Ansatsu jumped up and caught the ball. "Jeez watch what you are doin." Ansatsu threw the ball over to Pu, "Catch Uncle! Hey, I got an idea a spar. Me and Samano versus Wei and Uncle Pu. It'll be great. Unless Auntie Te says we can't. What do ya say?" He looked at the others and smiled.

[P'u]

P'u's eyes brightened, and he smiled. "Maybe later, Satsa. And not in Wei's nice room. But we will most definitely spar around or two later."

[Pheonix Planesrender]

Pheonix walked down the hall, when she heard a loud sound coming from Wei's room. She cautiously walked over to the door and knocked.

"Wei? Wei are you in there?" she says with a strong accent edgeing towards her dark elvish traits. She was still a little rough with the common tough of these people.

Pheonix felt the presence of her friend along with some of the other jedi. Two others that she did not know where also in there. No answer had come yet. She knocked again.

"WEI!" She shouts over the noice.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei looked up from where he had recently seated himself in the corner.

"I wonder who that could be..." Wei went to the door. "PHOENIX! Was that you talking those Basic words? When did you learn to speak Basic? I am so proud! My parents are here to visit me! Isn;t that great? Come on, you have to meet them."

[Pheonix Planesrender]

Pheonix smiles slightly and nodded. She looked inside and her eyes got wide. She had a bit of a phobia agianst large groups of people and she freaked whenever she came into one. She withdrew her sword and ran towards the nearest being, P'u. She slashed at his shoulder with her long sword.

[P'u]

P'u got in close and took Phoenix's hand in his, bending in at the wrist so that her hand opened up and the sword fell to the carpet.

"Now now, little one, what is the matter?" P'u's voice was calm and gentle. "You seem to be frightened." P'u sat down again and put Phoenix in his lap, cradling her like she was a baby.

"There there. Now you tell me all about why you are so scared."

[Zeke]

Zeke looked on with interest. Te was pestering Ange and Sejah, P'u was messin with Pheonix, and everyone else was being random and talking. He went under the bed and watched unnoticed for something to do.

[Pheonix Planesrender]

Pheonix sprang back to her feet and gave the guy an odd look. What did he think she was, a child? She was probobly twice as old as this guy. She looked at Wei and said something to him in elvish that was translated only to him through their force link.

"Who are these people and what are they doing in your room?"

[Ange Tot]

Wei's mother hadn't asked anymore of her so she slipped back into the main room to see Pheonix draw her sword, have her sword taken from and be held by Wei's dad, and then see Pheonix leap like a cat out of Wei's dad's hold. She couldn't help it, she laughed.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei gave Phoenix a comfortimg smile.

"These are my friends, Phoenix. The man that disarmed you was my dad. And the woman in the kitchen with Sejah is my mom. They all came to visit and I am introducing them to my friends."

[P'u]

P'u watched with surprise as Phoenix sprang from his lap. "Now now. Calm down." P'u smiled.

"What a lively friend you have, Wei! SO full of energy! They are all full of energy!"

[Miss Te]

Te looked around. She had been watching Sejah cook. "Sejah, you are very good at cooking. I'm so proud!" Te gave Sejah a light pat on the back and a kiss on the cheek.

"Now where did Ange get to? Ange? I wasn't finished with you."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei went over to Ange and took her hand. Then he took a deep breath and mustered his courage.

"Mom, Dad...there is something that you need to know. Ange and I intend on getting married."

There. He said it.

[P'u]

P'u said nothing, nor made a move. A large smile crept along his face and a quiet laughter bubbled up inside of him. He was so proud.

[Miss Te]

Te let out a happy squeal. "You are? Well! There is so much to do! But first.." Te took Wei's arms and put them around Ange and did the same to Wei with Ange's arms.

"What a cute couple! Oh! Wei! I know just the thing for you!" And with that, she burst out of the room to go get something out of the cart.

[Zeke]

"Lively," Zeke said from under the bed. "So when's it happenin'?"

[Aiden Rennure]

A thin voice could be heard from down the hall, urgency filling it. Aiden was running as fast as he could, a look of terror on his face. He was covered in dirt for he had been playing outside in the gardens.

"Weeeeeeeei! There was a big tree an' I was climbing on it an' it was a bazillion miles high an' I fell an' there was a rock that was sharperer than a lightsaber an' my knee fell on it an' now I think they're gonna hafta cut my leg off 'cause it's bleedin' an'..."

Aiden finally burst into the room and stopped, his "mortal wound" forgotten momentarily, staring at the crowd of people. He'd seen most of them around the temple but there were two that he didn't know. He stared at them for a minute and then looked back to Wei.

"Who're they?"

He asked, pointing at Wei's parents.

[P'u]

P'u got up and snatched Aiden out of the way so his wife would not trip over him.

"HONEY! DON'T FORGET THE MEDICINE BAG!" P'u called after her as she left.

P'u smiled as he set Aiden on his knee. "Well, look at you! You are a mess! Reminds me of Wei when he was your age. My name is P'u, and I am Wei's daddy. The lady that just left was Wei's mommy. Now, what is your name?"

[Aiden Rennure]

Aiden stared with wide eyes and then looked at Wei, eyebrows almost up to his hairline in surprise.

"You have a mom an' a daddy? But you're a big person!"

He turned back to P'u, fascinated. He had had no idea that big people had mothers and fathers!

"I'm Aiden, I'm Wei's bestest frien'. I didn' know he had a mom an' a daddy. I thought he was too big!"

AIden giggled and looked around the room. Suddenly, he noticed someone... or something, under the bed. Like he had been shot out of a cannon, Aiden jumped up and gripped P'u around the neck, pointing at Zeke with a shaking finger.

"WEI! THERE'S A MONSTER IN HERE!"

His eyes were as round as pie plates and he had a death grip around P'u.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled. "I sure do have a mommy and daddy. I have a wonderful mommy and daddy."

Wei looked at where Aiden was pointing. "A monster? Are you sure?"

[P'u]

P'u removed the boy's arms from his neck. "Now now, no need to be afraid. P'u laughed and said, "If you are calm, and wait, you justmight see that it isn;t a monster at all. So let's be quiet and see."

[Zeke]

Zeke poked his head out from under the bed.

"Just us Zekes!"

He ducked back under the bed.

[Sejah Haversh]

Sejah smiled warmly as Aiden jumped up on P'u. The boy was quite the character, that was for sure.

Wei's announcement abotu getting married was a surprise, Sejah thought him a bit young to be getting so involved, but, to each their own. There he stood, seven years older, and with not even a prospect in mind. Sejah returned his thoughts to his cooking, which was now finished.

As the others had their fun, the mongoose opened Wei's supboards and rumaged wound until eh found where he kept his plates. Settign a stack down, he scooped a fair amount of rice onto each with a wooden spoon, and then put his prawns and chili sauce on top, hopign he'd have enough to go around. "Dinner's ready for those who want it,: He announced, turnign the burners off. "It is rather spicy, so, be careful, everybody."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled. "Cool! Ok, guys, let's eat!"

[Zeke]

"FOOD!" Zeke was out from under the bed in a flash.

[Ange Tot]

She had the same sentiments as Zeke.

"Whoo! FOOD! I'm starving!"

She headed into the kitchedn, and frowned at the small plates.

"I think I'll have two servings then, if I'm allowed."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

An unexpected knock upon the wooden door was heard, giving proof of someone's recent arrival.

[Aiden Rennure]

Clearly relieved that the "monster" was just one of Wei's friends, Aiden sat back down, smiling sheepishly. It was only then that he remembered his knee. There was a miniscule scrape on his right leg, but to the child, it was quite a wound. He looked at P'u, worriedly.

"Do you think they're gonna hafta take my leg off?"

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled as Kindo appeared. "Kindo! My man! What's up? come and have dinner with us all! The man with the kid is my dad, and my mom should be back soon."

[Miss Te]

Te cam back in with a large back slung over her shoulder and in her arms she held some black cloth.

"I got the medicine bag. Now where is Wei?"

Te saw everyone lined up in the kitchen waiting on some food. "Well, I guess it can wait until after everyone has eaten."

She handed the bag to P'u and went to help Sejah serve the food.

[P'u]

P'u opened the bag, got out some cotton balls and some rubbing alcohol. "Well, now, let's get that scratch all cleaned up."

P'u wet the cotton ball with the alcohol and cleaned the scratch. Then he htrew the cotton ball way and retreived a band-aid, which he put on Aiden;s knee.

"All better! Now, let's go try some of Mister Sejah's food."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo respectfully bowed before his comrades, a broad smile flashing across his features. It brought him great joy to once again be in the familiar presence of his beloved colleagues, and perhaps, family.

" Thank you for you warm hearted welcome, Wei. "

He strolled over towards the dinner table, pleasantly perching down amongst the others assembled toghether.

[Aiden Rennure]

Aiden watched carefully as P'u cleaned the scratch. He nodded his approval and smiled as they walked to the table, practicing an exagerated limp-- Battle scars.

"Thanks Mr. Wei's daddy!"

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia had sat back quietly enjoying the banter of her friends. She smiled at Kindo and welcomed him softly using the force. She thought of Dios and missed him. With all the talk of weddings it made her think of her future and what it held.

Scooting closer to Wei's Mom, Maia began to help her serve the meal. Her mother had been so cold, so empty of love. Maia wondered what it would be like to have the love of a parent. "So what is it yo got from the cart Mrs. Te? She asked softly wanting to make conversation to get her mind off of what had happened...

[Miss Te]

Miss Te perked up. "Oh! That. Well, I suppose it would not hurt to show it to you all now."

Te motioned for Maia to hand her plates as she served dinner to everyone. Once she was finished, and everyone was sitting somwhere, Te turned to her son.

"Go put on what I brought for you."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei was just about to take the first bite of his dinner when his mother had asked him to go try on some clothes. Wei put his food down, took the black bundle and went into the bathroom to change. When he came out, he wore a black kung fu uniform with a Dragon sewn on it in shimmering gold thread sewn on it, and amall roses sewn on it.

"Well, Mother?" Wei asked, holding his amrs out and turning so he could be seen.

[Zeke]

Zeke folded his arms with mock-grumpiness.

"How come I never get cool stuff? All I got is this get up!"

And he technically didn't even own the black shirt, red scarf, and pants he wore. He'd stolen them from Kindo after his old outfit had been torn to scrap in his first Sith fight.

[Ange Tot]

She was just about to shovel some of the food into her mouth when Wei came out to show off what his mother had brought. She stared blankly.

"Drat, I guess I'm gonna look lame aren't I?"

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled when Agne spoke. 'Lame.' when Te was finished with her, Ange would be anything but lame looking.

[Miss Te]

Te placed her hands on her son's arms. "You look just like your father! And your grandfather too! This outfit was worn by your father and grandfather when they got married. Now you get to wear it."

Te gave her son a kiss on the cheek. "I'm so proud of you," she whispered in his ear.
