Here's something I found out today. Don't know if you know it already. It's interesting nevertheless. And kinda freaky!

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were involved in Civil Rights.

Lincoln was elected in 1860
Kennedy was elected in 1960

Both Lincoln and Kennedy lost children whilst in the White House.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were killed on a Friday.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were killed in the presence of their wives.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were shot in the head.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy had successors named Johnson.

Both successors were social Democrats and in the Senate.

Lincoln's successor, Andrew Johnson, was born in 1808.
Kennedy's successor, Lyndon Johnson, was born in 1908.

Booth, Lincoln's killer, was born in 1839.
Oswald, Kennedy's killer, was born in 1939.
Both assasins were southerners.
Both assasins were assasinated before their trial.

Lincoln's secretary's name was Kennedy.
Kennedy's secretary's name was Lincoln.
Secretary Lincoln advised Kennedy not to go to Dallas.
Secretary Kennedy advised Lincoln not to go to the theatre.

Booth shot Lincoln in the theatre and ran to a warehouse.
Oswald shot Kennedy from a warehouse and ran to a theatre.

Coincidence or not? I don't know! That's something for you to think about!

History repeats itself. I think its more than coincidence and like CMJ, I too have seen this before. Still chilling, though.

How about this...

Every US President elected in a year ending in zero, since 1840, has either died in office, been assassinated, or been the target of an assassination attempt... (Reagan survived his wounds... he's the only one, though.)

William Henry Harrison, elected 1840, died of pneumonia in April of 1841.

Abraham Lincoln, elected 1860, shot and killed at Fords Theatre in April, 1865.

James Garfield, elected 1880, shot and partially paralyzed, July, 1881, died of infection September, 1881.

William McKinley, won re-election in 1900, shot and killed in Buffalo, New York, in September 1901.

Warren Harding, elected 1920, died of heart attack August 1923.

Franklin D. Roosevelt, re-elected 1940, died of cerebral hemmorage during fourth term (1945).

John F. Kennedy, elected 1960, shot and killed in Dallas, Texas, November, 1963.

Ronald Reagan, elected 1980, shot 1981, but survived to complete two terms.

I don't know... doesn't bode too well for George W. Bush... :\

No, it's not. I went back through time and arranged it all this way. Now I'm posting on an account I made forty years ago, on a message board that I haven't been to in thirty. It's all part of my plan. My nefarious plan.

It wasn't always like this.

Just remember to tell Ed MacMahon "NO", and then slam the door in his face when you see him next year. But take one of the balloons. You'll need it.
