After reading it I am fine with it up until bombs started going off all over the place, that's god-moding. Just like with the B&G in my opinion, he didn't give anyone a chance to stop him and this would've worked - as Navaria said - really well with the move too.

Secondly it's a Jedi Only forum if we want to get into the nitty-gritty of forum rules but I don't think that's very important in this instance.

I'll move the thread to this forum so the members of GJo can look it over. The OOC arguments were getting much more heated than they need to be. There is no place for OOC name calling on any of the SWFans.Net forums and I was just acting to try and preserve the forums peace. The GJO staff is welcome to change the decision I have made in locking and moving the thread out of the public eye. I am just trying to be helpful.

It was all of the tongue-pulling that made me doubtful. Sometimes I get the impression people hide insults behind emoticons and I have had a run in with a friend over that in the past so I had second thoughts and decided to leave it. But in retrospect, it was a good call to close that thread because I see those emoticons as ways of masking his offensive remarks.

I was in the process of typing a long reply, but my damn computer froze up...signs of the times...^_^;...

Anyway, what it basically said was that I've RPed with Soth before, and, to put it bluntly, he DOES NOT play fair...Xaz, Kindo, remember the "Save Tomak" thread?

Soth tried to get me killed, my ship destroyed, and my crew murdered, all in the same 2 or 3 posts. When I began my escape, he pulled me out of hyperspace...with a tractor beam...:lol. When I tried to go around the Sanguine he accused me of godmoding through PM because "The Sanguine is so big that you'd never get around it."

....WTF? I know that Soth and Tatiana are probably pretty cool people in RL, but they accuse us of being chickens on our own turf, trying to cover up something that THEY screwed up. Soth accuses Lance of godmoding, even though Soth blew up half of the LQ with a thermal detonator...all Lance did was try to sense the attack, and Soth is the only person who seems to have a problem with it...

I don't mean to be throwing insults around, and I'm sorry if I disagree with people, but that RP would not have been fun...it was disorganized, one sided, and had no real purpose from the beginning. I think that something like that RP could be pretty fun, if there was some planning, but it just seemed like Soth put a call out for Shrine members to toss themselves into this thread, without even telling them the purpose.

Once again, I'm sorry if feeling are hurt, and I have nothing against Soth...people make mistakes, and it's just part of the learning experience, right?

Well put Lion.....yeah, I do remember that thing he called an RP in the Bar. Pfft.....it was not much of an RP in my eyes. He seems to think that since he is a 'Master' or whatever, that anyone else's power is null and void when against him. It seems as though that he thinks he's the King and the rest of us (everywhere, except for the Shrine) are the pesants. It isn't right, the way he does things. He's never been fair, that's why I don't RP with him. The only reason I replied to that thread in the LQ in the first place was to support Lance IC because he was basically alone. I agree that Lance would have been able to sense something like the detonator.....I know that when I was a new Knight, I had had that ability when I was a Padawan....so I used it and still do to this day. Danger sense....it's one of the first things that Padawans have anyway!!! Obviously someone has not done his research.

Anyway.....it's just really frustrating that he can do these things, and then somehow, turn it around and make us look bad. It's one thing to want to get a certain group involved and get their name out.....it's another when you're making your group out to look better than all of the rest of them...... :\

"Sigh" First off I come on behalf of the Shrine. As all of you must know I RP Alana Stormcloud. That thread was in no way planed I came in as Alana to back Kaytor and as you can see by my post I did not God moding of any sort. I am sorry for the name calling that went on it does not represent how the Shine as a whole feels. We are not power trippers, we are good people over there so please don't lump us as such. I won't speak for Soth because he has a right to his own say in this. I know Lance and RP with him and also Kaytor I did not think they would be upset if I came into that thread if they were I apologize.

I as my char run the Shrine and with me a council. There are a lot of decent rpers and good people over there. All we want to do is have fun rping with everyone else. As Alana I have never God moded or tried to over power anyone. I go into rps to have fun and I usually don't get involved in side threads unless they involve a shrine member. You guys know me as Maia and know I'm not a bad person. I do wish that we could as groups have more interaction with each other the shrine being evil and the Jedi being the light side. But it seems that something always goes wrong. In the future please if you have problems with an RP or an rper from the shrine and it is valid and I will try to discuss it with my members, I of course can't promise anything but I hope I can help resolve things. I do not rule over the members but they are good people as I said and open to suggestions. Once again I am sorry for the ooc stuff that went on I did not think it a big deal that I took Alana into the thread as a watcher...

TIs besides the point, anyway, my problem was that the people in the thread were not waiting for proper Jedi response, especially when a part of the Academy was going to be blown up. Proper procedure was not followed and that is my problem ... well, besides the flaming that started :\

Well, what was handled was handled. I have asked them to tone it down a bit, but they're form of RPing is a bit different from what we do here at SWF. Nothing wrong with different, so long as peace is kept (which obviously it went a bit haywire).

But just an FYI... Mistress Tatiana is my RL LIL SISTER. And I can be quite touchy and protective of her. I won't comment further, nor point any fingers. That is all. :|
