I hope he doesn't put it at Cannes first though. This is the sort of film that will be absolutely panned over there. It's the kind of person who goes to see a comedy, and wont actually laugh, ever.

Now the article is a much better reason why it might be good. Having real martial arts specialists working on it, with a lack of special effects means it will be much more like a Hong Kong action film and that is good. But, Michelle Yeoh would be a much better woman in there to handle the fights. CTHD shows what talent she has for martial arts very, very well and I doubt that Uma will be more than someone who just trained for a few months.

To be really good, you need actors with years of RL martial arts experience. 4 months intensive training just does not give the moves or the footwork, balaces or actions needed to be realy authentic.
