Has anyone seen signs yet?

The film is excellent. Very well put together. The acting is superb from all involved. I dont know what to say, other than go and see it!

We already discussed this extremely disappointing effort from Mr. Shayamalan and I have already endlessly suffered from having to be reminded of how lousy the plot was for that film, which could have been so good and instead was so mediocre. My god. Better luck next time, M. Night, hehe.

Sorry I'm late. I am not a big fan of M. Night(I thought both of his first efforts were decent, but not the great flicks most did) so I wasn't in too big of a hurry to see this. So I saw it at the discount theatre yesterday...AND....

I liked it reasonably well. I LOVED the atmosphere, but this is not a film that works well under a microscope. It essentially is all about a build up that leads to nothing.

The pay off was disappointing.

Nonetheless, I did enjoy it, but once again, Shayamalan has yet to REALLY impress me.

Well said, CMJ, at least about Signs. Sorry to hear you were disappointed w/ his other two efforts. I personally very much liked them, but it's interesting to hear these other views especially from someone who I consider one of the greatest movie buffs I know :)

I haven't seen Signs yet so I have no opinion, but for those that didn't like it, here's a link to something that will probably make you laugh. If you did like it, this probably won't make you laugh so much. Warning: profanity. And badly drawn caricatures. :)

Well Jonathan, I can't say that I didn't like ANY of his films, they were all decent. I just don't see what the big deal about the guy is. :D

Well CMJ, I'd say the big deal for the movie studios is...

The Sixth Sense: $657.5 million
Unbreakable: $249.0 million
Signs: $377.2 million

lol :)

Well when you break it down that way...;)
