Well, for all intents and purposes, my part in that thread is done. He did what I wanted him to do in the category of demonstrating his RPing abilities, and to a lesser degree the character he wants to join with. Even though his writing style is a tad choppy, and he likes to make really big paragraphs, it's not impossible to understand, and with a bit of practice he could do well.

Take a look, see what you think, and vote on it. I'm not voting on this one, because this is my brother, but the rest of you don't have that excuse. :)

He looks to be pretty good, and could get better as you said. I don't know how the closed membership policy would affect his presence, but I am usually in favor of give the benefit of the doubt to willing souls. I'll abstain from voting yet until I hear what the others have to say on it.
