On Padawan Patrol (open to any darksider apprentice)

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo was fatigued and exhausted, for it had been an active day on the bustling planet of Corucant. It bothered him a bit, for on his home planet of Serenno, locations were never swarming with so many people like this widespread place was. The Jedi Padawan had been assigned to patrol a certain area of the vast city, to be watchful of the immense crowds' activity. While strolling through a narrow hall of one of the numerous lofty towers, his thoughts dwelled upon how much he had learned ever since the initial moment he joined the Greater Jedi Order. All of the training with his master, discussions with noble Knights, spars with fellow Padawans, or even the precious moments in which he realized his great care for his fellow Jedi. While focusing upon these wonderful things and still keeping close watch, he immediately felt a potent presence of darkness, and it was near. It seemed has if all of his vigorous training had greatly effected him, for now he knew exactly where this evil being was. He began to walk up towards an unlit balcony on the tall structure, overlooking other skyscrapers. Stepping out onto the loft, he strongly sensed the corrupt presence.

" Who are you, and what is your business here? "

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus stood on the shadowed balcony overlooking Coruscant. He had taken a new interest in the planet ever since the New Republic had taken over. Unlike the past however, Liquid Silver was not involved....

Silus' coat whipped in the cool breeze a bit as he stood. Someone was on their way. Sticking their nose where it needn't be. Silus felt this presence as it made its way up the stairs. Then the presence, spoke from behind him..." Who are you, and what is your business here? "......Silus smirked a bit at the sound of the voice.

"I don't believe that is any of your concern..."

Silus spoke, still standing in shadow, and his back staying turned to the man...

"Though I should probably be asking you the very same questions..."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" I am Ki Adi Kindo, Padawan of the Greater Jedi Order, and I have been assigned to patrol these perimeters, now has I was saying, who are you and what is your business here? "

The Jedi didn't want to be rude with the mysterious individual, he just wanted to locate some answers, reasons to why the man was there. He slightly gripped his concealed silverish hilt, just in case things happen to get worse.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus turned around, though his face and his body were still partially shadowed. His eyes, unseen, kept watchful on the Jedi, whos hand was resting partially in concealment, most likely on his lightsaber...

"Did your order assign you to trespass also, Mister Kindo?"

Silus kept his cold unseen stare on the Jedi . Then reaching in his pocket, he removed a cigarette, then broke his stare momentarily to light it, then returned his gaze on Kindo....

"If they haven't, then I would like to know what you're doing in my building..."

Silus' voice stayed calm and cold, letting the Jedi know that he wasn't a welcome visitor....

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Like I said, I have my orders to patrol this location, but do tell me please, need I be here? "

The Jedi kept a rapid eye upon the man's motions, for he knew not what to expect from the one seemed to remain shrouded within the shadows of the unlit balcony.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus made no attempt to hide his force presence from Kindo. He was a Dark Jedi apprentice, and not unlike Kindo, had learned a fair amount from his master. He could sense an uneasiness from Kindo. Upon hearing the Jedi's question, Silus tilted his head in interest...

"All depends on what you seek, Mister Kindo"

At that moment, the door to the room slammed shut behind Kindo...

"Tell me Mister Kindo, do you believe you have found what you were looking for..."

Silus took another draw from his cigarette, keeping his calm demeanor while around him, there was a particular uneasiness in the room...

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" I am just here to insure safety and protection. "

A sudden peace moved upon the Jedi, and he began to allow that peace, a peace that had followed him has he was the young son of the Count up until his current days has a Padawan learner, to dictate his words and actions.

He slowly began to step further towards the man, yet maintaining a fair personal distance.

" I am only to make sure all is well, not to tangle myself with any sudden conflicts. "

[Silus Xilarian]

"Do you believe my presence here threatens anyone's safety. I was merely looking off of my balcony, and you entered my room and began interrogating me. Does one unarmed man pose that much of a threat?'

Silus made eye contact with Kindo. Silus' thoughts and his external demeanor conflicted each other. While calm and collected on the outside, inside, a malicious intent, and the violence of its execution filled his mind, and was focused, then perceived in his eyes as he stared upon Kindo.....

Then Silus acted through the force. Letting a lone thought be transmitted from his mind to Kindo. One of Silus, with a red saber drawn, lunging toward Kindo with a high swipe.....

Silus let the thought linger, and let no others escape...

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo felt an unexpected thought unfold within his mind, a violent scene of this mysterious man forcefully striking outwards at him. The Jedi did not want the current situation to become an ongoing duel, he just lacked knowledge to who this strange man was and why he was there. Using his recent receptiveness to the Force to assist him, he relayed a message back, although a different one.

---You have prepared yourself to begin an unessecessary conflict? Why cannot this matter be settled beyond the means of combat?---

It then dawned upon him who the unknown man before him was; none other than one of the many notorious Shadow Squadron. Kindo was part of the recently formed Rogue Squadron of the New Republic, and had engaged in an unruly galactic battle with these dark pilots himself. However, he kept serene momentarily, awaiting the one's response.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus heard Kindo's voice in his mind, then felt a new emotion from Kindo.....Understanding....Something had clicked in the padawan's mind...something that Silus didnt want known...

Without further hesitation, the cigarette Silus held to his lips was flung into the Padawan's face, and in a lightning fast motion, the menacing red blade of his saber was revealed, and duely swung; with all intent of decapitating the Jedi....

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

In one expected apt motion, Kindo rapidly unclipped a silverish handgrip from his utility belt. Without any further delay, he ran his finger past the ignition switch, emmiting a saffron blade outwards from the steel hilt, the exact lightsaber which once belong to his beloved father.

He fortified himself against the potent strike, twisited around the darksider's left side, and propelled the tawny blade accurately towards his opponent's backside with great force.

[Silus Xilarian]

As the jedi twisted himself around, Silus' turned with him, barely catching the saffron blade before it cleaved him in two. Silus deflected the blade opposite of its current path, using his turning momentum to overpower the jedi. As both of their blades were deflected to that side, Silus unleashed a hard boot to the stomach on Kindo, sending the lightsider sprawling backward...

Before Kindo had fully recovered from the hit, Silus was already on him, swinging with high strikes so that Silus could defend against any returned attacks with a downward swipe...

Kindo rapidly extended his palm, unleashing a energy wave through the Force upon his opponent. The man was launched into the open air, then collided with the solid floor below him.

He regained firm control of his yellow lightsaber, holding it within the tight clasp of his right hand, prepared for any sudden assault.

" Does this combat have to continue? "

[Silus Xilarian]

Upon hitting the floor, Silus rolled away and got to his feet. These events had succeeded in annoying Silus. Being knocked to the floor had succeeded in angering him. Silus let his saber drag the ground slightly letting it singe the floor around his feet, as he slowly paced a half circle in front of Kindo. Silus wasnt letting his anger consume him however. He was focusing it. Focusing it into a force attack of his own. As Kindo finished his question, he found that taking a breath was becoming more of a task, as Silus focused his anger into a force choke....

Silus focused harder and harder, completely cutting off Kindo's flow of air...

Has Kindo began to gasp for oxygen, he managed to remove a small dagger from his utility belt. With great power, he hurled the sharp blade towards his opponent, causing his attention to turn towards the approaching projectile, coming at great speed.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus tightened his force choke one last time, putting as much emphasis on it as he could before he released it to avoid the dagger flying at him...

Silus quickly had his saber out in front of him, with his shoulders squared...

"You know something you arent supposed to, Mister Kindo...You should have left, if you didnt want to fight...."

Silus feinted an attack, then stepped backward to avoid any attack of Kindo's, then he continued to pace only this time, a grin crept over his face....All of Silus' anger and rage had just peaked....He welcomed these feelings. A grin crept over his face....He was beginning to enjoy this...

Silus burned a line across the floor in front of him with his saber, and took a step backward....

"You started this.....now finish it"

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Excuse me, but I believe you casted the first strike. I will not just walk away and let one more outlaw get away, one more life be endangered by your selfish acts. "

Kindo's azure eyes quickly encompassed the proximity, soon locating a barren chair adjacent to him. With the apt extention of his arms, he allowed the Force to levitate the hefty stool up off the firm surface from which moments ago it stagnantly rested upon. The Jedi then casted the immense chair directly over his opponent, pressing down upon all of the outlaw's strength. He hoped by accomplishing this task he could pin down the man without harming him.

Silus' saber made quick work of the chair being pressed upon him. He smirked a bit..It would take more than a chair to put him down...

"Just because you didnt attack first, doesnt mean you didnt start this. I was minding my own business, not bothering anyone. You took it upon yourself to enter a situation that would lead to a fight."

Silus' eyes narrowed a bit as his head cocked in curiousity....

"You know, I thought the Jedi tried to avoid conflict whenever possible..."

Silus' words carried a hint of venom as he spoke....

"Hypocrite"

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" You are endanger the innocent, the Shadow Squadron are outlaws. If I have to drag you out of here to prevent you from further endangering more lives, so be it. "

Kindo rapidly retrieved his motionless lightsaber up off the balcony floor, reigniting the powerful saffron beam outwards from the steel hilt.

" I must apprehend you now. "

He peacefully began to stroll towards the enraged individual, all while silently dictating the mild movement of his tawny saber. A look of strong determination could be made out in his features.

[Silus Xilarian]

"Outlaws?....Your ignorance speaks volumes about you, Jedi. You blindly follow what you have been told is truth...And I suppose they like it that way....."

As Kindo approached him, Silus lifted his saber and circled to the left, keeping just out of striking range, waiting for an opportunity to strike....

"They'll have a grand funeral in your honor......."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo brought an abrupt halt to his tracks, desisiting any motion whatsoever. Within the hidden corridors of his mind, he was contemplating on how to detain the lethal man before him. At last his past experience and advanced proficiency paid off, leaving him well equipped with sure fire tactics.

Using the aid of the Force, he caused a moderate wind to sweep below the man's feet, cauing him to collide with the surface beneath. The Jedi then firmly extended his yellow lightsaber out towards the individual's throat, trying to force him into essential submission.

" Surrender, this does not have to end in combat. "

[Silus Xilarian]

Once again, Silus found himself on the floor. Only this time, he had a saber being held toward his throat. It was almost like a game of chess. Moving around, positioning and re-positioning for an attack. Kindo had made a bold move, however, he left his king unguarded....

With as much power as he could muster, Silus brought a foot up hard, catching Kindo in the groin. As he did, the saber in Silus' hand swung over knocking Kindo's blade away from his throat.

Silus quickly rolled away and got back to his feet.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Managing to ignore the recent pain, he locked his lightsaber in place with that of his opponent's, creating an earsplitting noise. While the pair of beaming blades pressed tightly against one another, Kindo swiftly removed his steel sword with his left hand, the dim light reflecting off of it's smooth surfaces.

Applying great strength, he forcefully casted the alloy sword out towards his adversary, hoping to startle the man into a quick withdrawal.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus rolled to the left, pushing Kindo forward with his free hand. as the Jedi stumbled forward from his own momentum and Silus' push, Silus slashed at his back, but barely grazed his clothing.

Before Kindo could get turned around, Silus grabbed part of the chair ,that kindo had used in attempt to pin him down with, and hurled it at the Jedi....

[Diego Van Derveld]

Silus had been followed. It was easy enough to do. Between the acrid smell of the cigarette smoke, and his own scent, which was a shade of pale green, Diego had shadowed him this evening. There was the matter of their scuffle at Taro Idol's meeting, and further, the distraction that had allowed Daetana to put a rail slug through him. If he had a scratch on the roof of his mouth, he would name it Silus...

...thus, as he pulled the stolen shirt over his hairy body, it occurred to him that he didn't entirely know what he planned to do with the bastard when he found him. The nature of their association was much too involved to warrant his death. Or at least, a quick death. Silus was a talented man, and talented people were so very useful, weren't they?

The color was returning to his sight, as he sat perched on the overlooking rooftop. It allowed a great vantage of the fight, and the moments of sensory high that followed a change allowed a brief use of his other keener senses as well. Silus's attacker had a dusty brown smell to him. Diego yawned.

[Silus Xilarian]

As Silus hurled the broken piece of the chair, he felt another presence. It was familiar, someone he had met before. Silus had felt this nagging at him all night. However, he felt it much stronger this time around, and thus, had a much more difficult time ignoring it...

Silus kept his saber held in front of him. At this very moment, Kindo was his only concern. If the other "presence" decided to make themselves known, then they would be dealt with accordingly.....

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo allowed the lumber chair to fracture off his chest, causing him to slightly stumble backwards, but maintain his firm equalibrium upon the ground.

The Jedi Padawan retaliated by delivering a robust overhead strike, only trying to pin down his opponent without any nonessential injury.

[Diego Van Derveld]

The man in armor was sandbagging. Not only was it a boring sight to see, but it was potentially hazardous to his health. Leaping down from his vantage, Diego dropped into a crouch, at the periphery of the action.

"I'd kill him before he gets any ideas. He's much too cunning for you to be polite with him."

[Silus Xilarian]

Being as advertised as it was, Silus dodged the strike, letting Kindo stumble forward from his own momentum. It was an odd move for a darksider, playing defensively. It was a style that Silus embraced however. It provided him with a psychological advantage when opponents threw everything they had at him, only to end up face down on the floor.

Silus backed up a few steps, to avoid any sudden return attacks...

"You're gonna have to try harder than that"

Then Silus saw him. And thats when it made sense. The lupine had to have been what Silus was sensing. He wasnt sure what the Lupine's intentions were, but as before, he had to focus on the situation at hand.

Silus gave a quick glance to Diego, still keeping a safe distance from Kindo....

"I didnt know you were a fan..."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo forcefully casted his yellow lightsaber to his opponent's side, the two energized beams screaming has they connected with one another. He then proceeded with a powerful kick towards Silus's midsection, vigorously throwing him to the rugged floor below.

" I'm not here to play fight, but to insure the safety of the innocent. "

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus hit the floor, then quickly rolled to his feet. Once he was back in a standing position, he lunged forward with his saber. The red blade seemed to be enroute to Kindo's head, and would be easily blocked. Not so easily blocked was the second red saber, just now making its presence known, as it engaged in Silus' right hand, and flew from the opposite direction of the other, in a scissor motion.....One blade flying at Kindo's head, the other at Kindo's midsection.....

Sai cha or sai tok........Silus relished the idea of either one at this point....

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego smiled thinly.

"We've crossed paths enough, Silus. I'm merely being proactive in our future encounters. You don't forget an experience like getting shot in the back. Two times, Silus. You're very clever. A very clever man, indeed."

He gestured to Kindo.

"You really are at a disadvantage. You can't kill clever men with good intentions. And if you don't kill him, Jedi, he'll become a nuissance. All clever men do."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

With his tawny lightsaber still positioned to fortify himself against the initial overhead strike, Kindo immediatly crouched low to the surface, avoiding any potential harm from the second blade.

Ki Adi swiftly slid his left foot across the ground, eventually connecting with the back of the darksider's legs. This rapid movement stole the man's sturdy balance, sending him forcefully crashing head first into the rugged floor.

[Silus Xilarian]

As Silus fell back, his saber's instinctively went in front of him, to guard against any follow up attacks. He grit his teeth as he hit, not in pain, but focus, as he thrusted forward with an anger fueled force push.

The push knocked Kindo backward, slamming him against the nearby wall. As Kindo hit, Silus lept to his feet and followed in with an overhead strike with his left saber. Or rather an overhead feint, as the real attack was a back-handed slice toward Kindo's lower abdomen.....

[Diego Van Derveld]

A crackling buzz was felt, rather than heard...coming from Silus. Diego staggered a little, blinking hard. After a moment, he shook his head a bit...clearing the disturbing feeling of a rising force signature from his senses.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Once again, the Jedi lowered himself to avoid the seperate blade, only to see it engrave a large streak across the wall. With his saffron lightsaber still gripped tightly within his palm, he advanced upwards towards the darksider's chest with his left palm, using his own strength and the Force's avail to throw his opponent backwards with tremendous intensity.

When the impaired individual met the ground, one of his crimson sabers was released from it's grasp, leaving it isolated a couple of feet away from it's owner. Kindo extended his hand, temporarily taking possession of the abandonded lightsaber.

He moved upon his stunned adversary, holding one saber towards his throat and the his own blade behind him, just in case any rapid attempt was made to overcome him. He casted his personal lightsaber away momentarily, pressed a small switch located on his opposite wrist, then called for local New Republic guards to come and assist him. Ki Adi was not insolent nor arrogant, for he knew that he needed support.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego felt weak, and sweat began to bead on his skin, causing it to become clammy and hot. Kindo's form exuded the force...spiking through his senses suddenly as he threw Silus. Diego began to breathe heavily...suddenly afflicted by a bad state of cottonmouth.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus looked about for a minute....He was mad, no doubt about it, but it was hard to react when your own saber is being waved about your throat. There was only one thing left to do....swallow his pride and ask for help....

Silus glanced over to Diego, speaking through the force to conceal his words from Kindo....

When the NR gets here, we're both gonna get locked up....a little help?

He didnt know if Diego would help him, or why Diego was freaking out in the corner, but it was a last ditch effort to escape...

[Diego Van Derveld]

Then it all slipped away...

"AaaaAAAaagh..ggk!!!"

Clawing at the sides of his head, Diego fell to the ground in convulsions.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus looked over to Diego. This was just great...Silus' only chance of escape just went into a seizure...He had witnessed Diego change before, and while Silus didnt actually see the process, it was much faster than this, with a lot less noise....

Silus glanced over to his other saber, still ignited in his hand, preparing to go out in a blaze of glory....

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Still maintaining his current position, he tilted his head to witness the concealed stranger collapse to the ground in rapid convulsions. Kindo longed to wander over and assist him, but was forced to keep the relinquished darksider apprehended for time being.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego's skin took on a waxy, pinkish complexion as he writhed about on the ground. His head twitched at severe angles, the jowls of his jawline becoming more severe, extening forward as his face narrowed. Blue eyes faded into a pale gold color, as various bones and ligaments shifted with reluctant crunching sounds. With a wheezing grunt, Diego's mouth opened, as his maxilla deformed, causing pronounced canine teeth to jut forward.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo's sapphire eyes grew broad has he witnessed the abnormal transformation that had transpired in a brief matter of mere seconds. Silus was a troublesome conflict has it was, and by the looks of the enraged creature before him, it was about to get much worse.

Just has expeditious has the stranger's alteration, New Republic guards stormed out onto the balcony. They immediatly perceived the infuriated beast, elevating the blasters to align with the brute. Kindo was still positioned with the ruby lightsaber held at the pinned darksider's neck.

" Don't shoot him, just contain him. "

[Silus Xilarian]

Kindo looked away as Diego went through the equivant of what some called a "freak out", then the NR busted in. As Kindo looked away, Silus reached under his back. When Kindo looked back down, he would be face to face with a blaster.

Any sudden movenment would alert Silus' shakey trigger finger...

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego's shoulders jerked in sudden, unnatural movements, as the bones of his torso reknitted and aligned with shifting musculature. The back of his shirt split open, falling away with his pants as his waist narrowed. Legs bent backwards on knees that became ankles, with thighs tapering to reform the more specialized joints of quadripedal hind legs. Diego's form was naked for only seconds, as a sheen of hair grew like a wildfire across his body, matting over and concealing his darkening flesh. Diego's cries of anguished pain soon became distorted howls, as hands and feet broadened into paws. The Lupine's entire body shuddered in a chain reaction of popping joints and stretching tendons. Then, the animal slowly rose to its feet, weight counterbalanced by a barbed, whiplike tail. The dying light of day glinted in the beast's eyes, as a howl chilled the air around him.

Diego's change was adequate distraction. Most NR guards had never seen a Lupine, so this would definately throw them off. It also left Kindo distracted enough for Silus to act...

Silus reached up and grabbed Kindo by the wrist, squeezing hard enough to make him release Silus' saber, which deactivated on its way to the floor.

Silus then jerked down on Kindo's arm and stuck his leg into Kindo's stomach, flipping the man behind him. Silu recovered his lost saber and was on his feet in an instant...

"Come on!"

He shouted at Diego then took off for the balcony. As he got to the edge, he put a hand on the rail and got ready to hop over.....

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

At that exact moment, the Jedi expeditiously removed an obsidian blaster from his utility belt, and directed it to a desired target, Silus's right leg. He meant to momentarily disable the darksider, not to injure him fatally. Swiftly pulling his index finger back, he fired the shot.

[Silus Xilarian]

The blaster shot grazed Silus' leg, not doing any real damage, just stinging the hell outta him...

"WILL!!! COME ON!!!"

Silus shouted at the Lupine as he pulled his own blaster back out and began firing on Kindo....

[Diego Van Derveld]

Silus's words were loud and tinny, and his rhythmic breath issued in sighing waves through Diego's improved hearing. His form stumbled and sprinted away, stark and monochrome, but enshrouded by the pale greenish scent that was unique to him. It trailed off his body, spiked by increases of adrenaline, as he fled. The vornskr bristled with the proximity of the Sith's force affinity...and instinct took over. The beast pounced, tearing through one NR soldier, and swatting another away with a clawed paw as it coiled back, springing forward in full sprint. Blaster fire trailed close behind, scorching the air around Diego in whisps of acrid ozone. The animal seemed to have tunnel vision, intent on pursuing the victim in closest proximity, which was Silus.

[Silus Xilarian]

Finally Diego had turned to escape, teaing through NR on his way to the balcony. Silus kept fire on Kindo and the NR, intent to hold them off until Diego made it through the crowd.

Diego was almost there....Silus hopped onto the railing of the balcony, firing over Diego's head at the guards, but somehow, the look he was getting from the Vornskr was a bit....unsettling...

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

After requesting hasty medical aid from his com-link, Kindo vaulted into the air, landing directly before the enraged creature. This deflected the infuriated beast’s attention off of Silus and unto himself. Though the Jedi’s task was to constrain the darksider, he didn’t want to see anyone else wounded severely.

Kindo removed his sheathed silver blade, and extended it outwards to prepare himself from any onslaught.

[Diego Van Derveld]

At full speed, the vornskr neither slowed, nor hesitated to heed the man now in his path, leaping up, and slapping Kindo to the ground with thick forepaws. Tooth-filled muzzle snapped forward, eager for any exploitable separation between the Jedi's collarbone and jawline that would expose a kill bite.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo expeditiously tilted his head, preventing the enraged beast from gnawing him at the moment. With his steel blade still within the grasp of his hand, he swiped at the infuriated creature, causing a clean slash to appear across it’s side. While it screamed in anguish, the Jedi briskly arose from the ground.

It was at that moment when several more New Republic guards stormed out onto the bustling balcony, all focussing their firearms at the beast. Even if the the furious animal could murder a few of them, it would be brought down abruptly after that. It was completely encompassed.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia sat at the small counter in the Coruscant shop sipping her coffee. She was waiting for her Padawan Kindo to show. They were going to meet to go shopping for his formal wear when he was knighted.

Maia glanced at her time piece and frowned. "It's not like him to be late." Just then Maia jerked to a standing position. Kindo's voice ripped through her head, The force of his call made her stagger. He was in trouble and she could feel it in very fiber of her being.

She opened her mind and linked to him. "Kindo I am on my way where are you." She said as she began to run, listening to his directions she made her way there...

[Krieger]

Krieger could feel the distress eminating from his comrades. He was in the area close by. He was still a rookie with his new saber, but he was ready to help. He opened up the door of the speeding air taxi that he was getting a ride from. He fell like a rock from the speeding vehicle. His comrades eventually became within sight. He landed on his feet with a great thud. "Hiya guys! How's it going?" He said. He felt a sudden burst of warm air hit the back of his neck. He turned around slowly and said "Wow! Look at this big lug! I thought I was big. Over 8 feet is insane." The monkey took a swipe at him and he jumped back. "Ohhh... This oughta be fun." He pulled his crimson saber from his belt and ignited it. "Bring it tiny!"He said confidently.

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

The soft, whispering beat of flurrying pads combined with the rhythmic sounds of claws on a hard surface could just be heard, pounding closer with a steady beat and fueled by the need to draw blood. Muscles trembled beneath a silver pelt, driving the animal forward at a terrifying pace, sprinting closer to the party surrounding Diego.

A low growl sounded from behind the group of NR guards, and as one of them turned, he was greeted with a mouth full of vicious, snapping teeth clamping onto his face, and with a powerful twist, the beast broke the guard's neck like a twig. He fell like a rag doll, and the new arrival fell with him, standing atop the now lifeless form.

Flesh hanging from this new vornskr's mouth, she turned her yellow gaze to the closest soldier.

Strange, but she could smell the fear rolling from him like a pungent odor; it was sweet, and most pleasing. She growled in pleasure, licking the remaining flesh and blood from her teeth.

Diego Van Derveld had shown her his world; had let her in, and she reveled in it.

[Silus Xilarian]

Kindo was just full of surprises. More NR guards were pouring in and he just sliced Diego open....Thats when the equivalent of "all hell breaking loose happened", as another Vornskr, a silver one, broke into the fray, ripping apart guards in her path.

Just then. Silus saw Kindo stand up. For some reason, his blade did more damage than Silus thought it would.

Silus began to draw his sabers again, but didnt. The silver Vornskr wasnt just any regular Lupine. IT was a dear friend of his, who wouldnt appreciate that particular weapon being used.
As Kindo "briskly" arose from the ground, his arm was twisted behind him roughly, and bent upwards with a jolt, forcing his sword to the ground. As the sword clanged on the floor, the hilt of Silus' saber came down hard on the back of Kindo's head, knocking the Jedi to the floor....

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego staggered a few steps, and continued forward again, not caring to heed the danger of NR soldiers behind him. Shots issued forth, peppering all around him. Just as he was nearly upon Kindo again, another, larger man appeared. Diego pounced as the man ignited his saber, the force of impact sending both sprawling...and dislodging the weapon from the man's hand. Thick paws dragged across Krieger's chest, as a toothed muzzle locked like a vice across his left forearm.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo collapsed heavily upon the solid ground, the agony from the forceful strike immense. Ignoring the great pain, he grasped for his concealed dagger. In one rapid twist, the Jedi powerfully casted the sharp blade out towards the darksider, the knife plunging deep into his side, inflicting excrutiating torment.

While Silus screamed in ache, Ki Adi quickly extended his palm, emmiting a Force wave throwing the man backwards.

[Krieger]

Krieger began to scream in pain. He then grit his teeth and began to think of a way to decrease the monster's vicegrip teeth. He then began to cackle with shear insanity. He made a knife edge with his hand and stabbed the beast in the nose. Out of seemingly primal instinct, he picked up the beast over his head and slammed it on the floor, making a large crater where it fell. Krieger pulled his arm from the stunned animal's jaw and observed his bleeding arm. He then laughed with realization. "So, I'm not an invincible force after all. I guess they were wrong."

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia rushed in and stopped dead in her tracks at the site. Diego once again had become a killing machine again. As Krieger lofted him in the air Maia rushed to Kindo's side. Her face drawn in worry. She ignored the dangers around her and knelt beside him.

"Kindo are you ok? It is the force that maddens him, we need to find a way to knock him out and not use the force well he is near us." She said softly. She wanted to heal him but she knew it would only draw Diego's unwanted attention... Maia pulled her saber from her belt and hoped that no one would be hurt this night...

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus hit the wall hard. Upon hitting, he fell forward to his knees. His teeth barred. Why was he holding back? He took the pain. He took his anger. His rage was peaking. All of this was being focused. The expression on Silus' face was almost inhuman.

As Kindo stood, he was brought to his knees. His own breathe being choked out of him. This was the focus of every ounce of Silus' anger. Every bit of his excruciating pain. All focused into the force, which Silus was being used to choke Kindo.

Silus slowly grasped the hilt of the dagger. The Force choke being applied to Kindo tightened as Silus slowly pulled the dagger from his side. Upon removal, Silus tossed the dagger aside, and off of the balcony.

Kindo's air supply was completely cut off now. Silus slowly walked over to Kindo, and reaching down with his left hand, lifted the Jedi's chin up. Kindo was about to feel the consequence of one of Silus' past injuries...

Silus clenched his right hand into a fist. The durasteel bone structure in his hand made almost a grinding noise as its joints popped. Throwing his weight into it, Silus viciously laid his right hand into Kindo's face.

Silus heard a crack as Kindo's cheekbone broke. The force of the punch released Kindo from the choke, but sent him sprawling. Kindo slid slighty as he landed on his back, a few feet from the Silver vornskr who had just made her presence well known....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

The force usage permeating the room drove her insane, elevating her need to rip any force-user she could find limb from limb. It was a terrible need that had to be fulfilled; desire to be sated. Her senses worked in overload, taking in every bit of the force auras swirling through the room; a myriad of essences that wound through her vision, tickling her nose in the most tantalizing of manners.

The silver beast huffed, her head swiveling every which way, seeking out the nearest target.

Yellow eyes locked on the form that skidded towards her; she could see the force surrounding him; see it roll from him in waves, and a growl began deep in her throat, rising in volume.

Lips curling back over vicious teeth, the vornskr stalked forward, head low to the ground as she kept a terrible stare on Kindo. Ears laid back, she snapped at him before springing forward, powerful jaws locking onto his side, and she wrenched left and right, feeling his flesh tear away.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia darted to her feet as Kindo was wrenched from her side. She ignited her saber with a snap-hiss and rushed to Kindo's aid. Maia did not want to hurt the beast but she also knew there would be no reasoning with it either. As it shook her Padawan, Maia slashed down cutting into the beasts powerful shoulder. It roared in pain and let its grip go on Kindo.

Maia quickly braced herself for an attack. The saber had not cut deep but it had caught it's attention...

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

s'Il thrashed in pain; burning pain that lanced through her shoulder and she lashed out, flecks of blood flying through the air as she shook her muzzle. Her once sleek coat now mared with a new smoldering scar, and she snapped at the woman who'd cut her.

She shifter her paws, gaining a better foothold, snarling in rage.

Pacing around Maia, s'Il snorted, licking Kindo's blood from her lips as if she was licking errant water.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Drawn by S'Ilancy's pained yelp, Diego withdrew from the offensive by Krieger, snorting and sneezing from where the padawan had struck his nose. With a basso growl, the vornskr moved opposite S'Il, encircling and flanking around Maia. His whip-like tail curled high, the poison barb glistening. The Jedi Knight was a stark figure, shrouded in an ambiance of purple, as Diego lapped at her scent, as well as her ever-present force signature. He split the air with a howl, yellow eyes flashing primal malice at her...

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia watched the two circle her. She kept her saber extended ready for an attack. A since of sadness engulfed her as she eyed both creatures. It had been not so long ago that she watched helplessly as Diego had attacked innocents. He to had been an innocent in that battle. In her eyes he still was. Diego was a victim of his circumstances.

She only hoped they could all survive this fight. She only worried for her padawans. To her they remained the most important thing. She wanted to call on the force to aid her but she knew it would only drive the beasts into a frenzy. All she had now was her saber and the hope that when the time came she would be able to do what she must...

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus slowly moved back. All the NR guards had been taken care of at this point. From his new vantage point. He could keep an eye on both Kindo and Krieger. If either of the padawans made a move for either of the Lupines, they would be shot. Though Silus currently had his blaster out, he was prepared to draw his saber's should they decide to attack him.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

OOC-I was attacked two times in a row without me getting a chance to reply, none of that please.


Just then several more NR officers stormed out onto the swarming balcony, and this time they wern't playing games. Has soon has they could position their arms correctly, they began firing repetitive shots at the infuriated Lupines.

While this sudden turn of events unfolded, distracting Silus, Kindo acsended from the solid floor beneath. Enduring the great amount of agony, he closed his sapphire eyes and began concentrating deeply within the living Force. The Jedi elevated both arms, uplifting an entire table above it's former foundation. Still in a state of complete focus, through the Force's aid he forcefully casted the table onto Silus, pinning him beneath it's immense weight.

[Diego Van Derveld]

OOC: There's no rule against that. If there are multiple opponents, so long as nobody makes multiple moves out of turn, then people can gang up on you. Thats why being outnumbered is a bad thing.

IC:

Diego sprung to Maia, but a blaster bolt clipped him as he sprung. Off-balance, he tumbled into the Jedi, fumbling about as he began to fall over. He twisted his neck to the side, snapping at Maia's left leg, above the kneecap. His canines dug in, and he began to jerk forward, righting his balance and favoring his healthier front paw.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus was knocked off his feet by the flying table. Silus was in the middle of of drawing his saber. When the table it, his saber was knocked from his hand. It slid across the floor, stopping way out of his reach.

Silus was now trapped underneath the table, and couldnt push it off. He glanced over, eyeing his saber. He struggled a bit and freed his arm, outstretching it as he pulled his saber to him with the force. As the saber reached his hand, Silus activated it, and quickly sliced the table in half.

The half of the table that was still on him was now light enough for him to struggle out from beneath.

Silus quickly got to his feet. He kept his eyes set on Kindo as he squared his shoulders, holding his saber in front of him....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

s'Il jerked her head, staring with a yellow gaze at the sudden appearence of the New Republic soldiers. She backtracked quickly, though not quick enough to dodge a bolt that just managed to catch her, grazing along her left side and scoring lightly across her ribs.

She let out an angered growl, backing off even more as the ground around her was peppered with blaster shots. Looking to Diego, her eyes narrowed a little; he'd been hit too...

With a small growl she moved up beside him; as long as they were near the jedi woman the soldiers would know better than to fire and risk hitting the jedi as well, and lowering her head, she sniffed at Maia's cheek before baring her teeth once more in a snarl.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia could feel the female beast close to her. The heavey breathing on her cheek made her pause and gasp. She knew no matter what she had to make a move or die.

As Diego clamped down on Maia's left leg the pain registered in her mind fully. It was excruciating. Maia knew that she had to react, and fast. The young Jedi woman used the ball of her heel and rotated her body in a counter clock wise motion. Spinning her torso to the side of the beast. With both hands she literally grabbed Diego by his private parts. She now had him by the balls.

Wrenching down Maia twisted with all of her might as her hold became a death grip.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego yowled and squirmed, muzzle falling away from Maia's leg...

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

With the swift extention of his hand, Kindo called to him a pair of weapons through the Force; a stray blaster and his dormant lightsaber. Elevating the blaster and taking accurate aim, he fired three direct shots straight at s'Ilancy, forcing her to retreat.

The Jedi then rapidly ran his finger past the ignition switch, causing a saffron beam to emit outwards from the steel hilt. Without delay, he began walking hastily towards Silus once more.

[Silus Xilarian]

As Kindo came towards him, Silus slowly began sidestepping, half circling Kindo. By now, Silus had his back turned to Diego and s'Ilancy. He would make sure that Kindo made no more attacks on them. Without anymore hesitation, Silus began walking toward Kindo, the distance between them growing smaller with each step.....

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Usually Kindo would never attempt the initial assault, but this time was completely different. He did not yearn to make the foremost attack out of his own wrath or fury, but he longed to see this harmful man apprehended for the safety of the others. He entirely understood that his actions must be in utter peace, not out of personal rage. It was one of many things he had learned has a Padawan, and if he couden't rely on what he had been taught, what could he rely on?

Taking in a deep breath, he advanced upon his adversary, delivering a forceful overhead strike, pressing down with his all of his strength that remained.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus sidestepped the strike, and brought his blade down with Kindo's. As both blades tapped the floor, Silus swung his left arm, catching Kindo in the side of the face with a backhand punch, doing more abuse to Kindo's already injured cheekbone.

Instead of following in with an attack. Silus backed a step, making sure to keep himself between Diego and s'Ilancy.

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

The force was driving her mad, fueling her to the stages beyond all reason, and she crouched low, muscles tensing as she prepared to spring at Maia. Whether the woman was hurting Diego or not was a moot point; the force was pushing her deeper into the depths of insane rage.

And then she howled, caught in the flank by one of Kindo's bolts. The vornskr wheeled back, thrashing her head in pain as she hobbled a short distance away. The pain lanced through her leg, but soon was forgotten as the beast whirled around once more, insane yellow eyes leveling back on Maia before taking off at a flurrying pace, paws pounding the ground in tandem with her thundering heartbeats as she closed on the jedi woman.

Teeth bared in a bloody grin, the vornskr leapt.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia used her good leg to push herself away from Diego. She did not want to be anywhere near him when he regained his sense. Maia had no choice but to call on the force to block the pain and start the healing to her knee. Pulling her saber up she held it in a defensive position as the other beast raced toward her. It would take a little bit before she could regain her footing. She kept her eyes on glued on the Lupine that charged at her...

[Diego Van Derveld]

Slow to his feet, Diego moaned and whined, ears fluttering as he righted himself. His head was low to the ground as he limped off a few steps. A sudden spike in the force elicited a nasty snarl, as Diego trotted around, prepared to strike on Maia's flank...

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo stumbled slightly after receiving yet another paiful blow to his cheekbone. Without any hesitation, the relentless Jedi advanced upon Silus once again, heavily pressing down over the darksider's crimson saber with his own.

With both blades lowered, Ki Adi proceeded with a powerful kick towards Xilarian's exposed midsection, throwing him backwards.

While Silus arose, Kindo silently dictated his saber's movement, maintaining a keen eye on the man ahead of him.

[Krieger]

Krieger had been out of the way for a while, looking for the perfect opportunity to attack. He swiftly ran to Silus and landed a megaton punch to the back of his head, dizzying him and making him fall to the ground. He picked him up by the leg and swung him around like a lasso. He launched Silus at the dangerous male Lupian, smiling with amusement. "Maia." He said using his small skill with the force,"I am the most force inept at this point. You all could run and I could distract them."He was very confident in his skills.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Silus fell back against Diego, knocking the off-balance lupine to his side. He whirled around with a snarl, seizing Silus around his right shoulder. He planted his front paws, and shook his entire body, wrenching the Dark Jedi back and forth with powerful movements.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus hit the ground confused. He didnt know how Kreiger snuck up on him, without Silus' force awareness or Krieger's heavy footsteps clueing him in. Then his confusion increased, and was matched by pain as Diego latched onto his shoulder and violently began shaking him. He didnt know why Diego was attacking him, but he knew he had to do something..

Silus glanced over to see Diego's toothy maw gripped on his shoulders. It was last ditch desperation, but like they always say.

If you cant beat 'em, join 'em.....

With no other options left, Silus bit down hard onto the bridge of Diego's nose, then grabbed on with his free hand to brace himself, so his whole body would turn in case Diego shook, thus preventing him from having his neck broken...

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

The crazed vornskr sailed through the air, teeth bared as she leapt at Maia. The woman's use of the force drove all perception of reasoning from the beast's mind, and she disregarded the saber that was brought to bear against her, paws outstretched in front of her.

[Maia Tharrinn]

As the vornskr leapt at her Maia brought her hand up and called on the force. She force shoved the beast to the side and onto the ground. Maia gained her footing and turned to face it her saber extended. Her slowly healing knee barly supported her weight.

[Krieger]

Krieger loomed over his opposition with great size. His 8 foot figure and muscle ripping. He ran over to Maia, guarding her against the terrible foes while she could heal. He brandished his saber in the upside down postion, waiting for an attack.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo removed the dormant blaster from it's holster, elevated the ebony pistol for accuracy, and the fired at a shot directly above s'Ilancy. The rapid blast struck an old steel beam, causing it to collapse upon the female Lupine, pinning her briefly.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego yelped, slapping a thick paw over Silus's face, and raking down to dislodge his pesky diversion. His bite wavered a moment, then redoubled down on the man's shoulder.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus' last ditch desperation had failed miserably. This time, Silus brought his left hand down in a fist, harshly striking Diego in the nose. Silus repeated this over and over...

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

Crushing pain echoed through the vornskr's mind, and she struggled to extricate herself from the beam pinning her down. Her movements halted as she paused, gathering her strength, and with a massive heave, once more attempted to claw her way out.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia took this moment of diversion and called to her Padawan Krieger. She could think of nothing else to do. The Lupines were just to deadly to risk anymore fighting and it was not in her heart to kill them.

"Krieger take Kindo even if you have to force him and go. I will try to draw there attention Please do as you are told." She said in a somewhat stern tone one she had never taken with anyone. She knew he would want to stay and help but in her heart she knew they were in danger.

"Hurry Krieger before the chance is gone..."

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego faltered, shrinking back from the pummelings at his nose. Stumbling away, he snuffled and sneezed, Silus's blood dripping from his wet maw.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus quickly scrambled to his feet. He backed up slowly for a second. He manuevered to the side a bit, to get everyone in the room in his peripheral, to avoid anymore sneak attacks. Diego was now his main concern. He didnt know what he did to constitute getting attacked, but he wasnt gonna stand there and get eaten.

Silus primed himself to defend against an attack, though he was clearly favoring his right shoulder.

[Krieger]

"Maia! No! I will stay and fight for you! I won't leave you to die! If you stay then I will too!" He said with stern passion. "I'm gonna take you with me and Kindo." He picked her up with one hand and began to walk to pick up Kindo.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

For a brilliant distraction, Kindo began taking rapid shots at the enraged Lupines with his obsidian blaster, forcing them to maintain within their current location.

" Let's go! "

[Silus Xilarian]

Kindo began firing on Silus' "friends". That was all it took. Silus quickly reached behind his back and pulled out twin blasters and let loose a hail of fire towards Kindo.

[Krieger]

Arriving at his friend's side, Krieger quickly covered him with his massive body. The shots were like a swarm of angry bees, painful but minor. "Come on! We gotta go quick!" Without giving them time to speak, he bolted for a ledge from which to jump. He vaulted into the sky and landed on an air taxi, making a great escape. He would always remember the three left behind for their actions against his friends.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego dove toward Silus, enraged and focused on a killing strike. In mid leap, one of Kindo's blasts hit the Lupine broadsides...sending the metamorph sprawling and skidding with a yelp. This time, it didn't get up. Slowly, with the sound of a prolonged sigh, the beast began to shift, as it slipped into a traumatic unconciousness. Fur withdrew as the body shifted, to reveal a half dozen or more blaster and saber wounds, as well as other injuries.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Krieger finally released Kindo, has they all climbed within the vacant taxi. He watched has the enraged Lupine transformed back into his regular human state. The medical team had just arrived on the scene, immediately rushing to treat Diego's wombs.

Ki Adi was a bit relieved in knowing his friends were alright, although he had suffered many gashes himself. He was pleased, pleased in knowing that he had maintained his peace throughout the whole thing. Indeed this had been one of many trials, for more would come but no matter the circumstances he would continue to progress his abilities and skills has a Jedi.

Turning his attention towards the frightened cab driver...

" To Arcan, the Greater Jedi Order complex, please. "

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

As she crawled from beneath the girder, s'Il shook herself, and immediately her yellow eyes fell on Silus, and with an enraged growl, sprang forward, paws pounding the floor with her claws scaping the surface in staccato beats. The muscles of her shoulders bunched, and in one fluid motion she reared up, launching herself at Silus with paws outstretched.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus turned in time to see s'Ilancy. Silus turned in time to counter her lunge. Confusion, mixed with ignorance however, prevented him from reacting.

s'Ilancy's lunge knocked Silus off his feat, however she had hit too high on him. Her front paws connected and drove into his shoulders. Silus fell back. s'Ilancy, however, stayed her course. Her grip on Silus' shoulders sent her into a front flip. Silus yelled in pain as her paws ripped his flesh. As s'Ilancy hit and slid on her side, back first toward the wall, Silus rolled over and slowly lifted himself to his feet, staring straight ahead toward the enraged lupine.

What are you doing Lok.....its me.....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

Skidding across the floor, the vornskr hit the wall hard, letting out a yelp as she came to an abrupt halt. With a growl she rose, shaking herself violently before glaring at Silus; the only target left that the furious Lupine could percieve.

Lips curling back and ears flat aganst her head, she growled while stalking forward, and muscles bunching in a crouch, sprang forward once more.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus quickly side stepped. He avoided being tackled, but was cut by a claw on s'Ilancy's way by. As she landed....Silus slowly backed away....

Dammit Lok!!!!!!! What are you doing!!

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

She whirled around, yellow eyes leveled on Silus as she watched him back off. Padding forward, she bared a toothy, bloody maw in a series of vicious barks, snapping her jaws as she approached him slowly.

She paced around him for a few steps before rushing him once more. The glint in her eyes was deadly, and her teeth were bared to kill.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus' eyes narrowed at s'Ilancy as she paced him. Appartantly she was intent on this. Submission, mixed with anger led to his next decision...

Alright if you wanna do things like this then we will.....

As he spoke, she lunged at him again. This time Silus didnt stray from his position. Instead he stepped into it. Her weight and momentum knocked him down, with her falling ontop of him. As they fell, Silus grabbed her muzzle, pulling her head into him as he hit the ground. When he did, he kept hold on her muzzle, to prevent her from biting. He kept her head pulled into his chest, and threw his legs around her to hold her. With his shoulders pulled up to hold her, it would also make clawing his face near impossible...

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

Her growl echoing through what was left of the room, she shook violently in his grasp, wrenching her neck side to side trying to free herself. It was useless, and her tail lashed back and forth as she began struggling again. Her paws unable to do any damage, she simply threw herself from left to right as hard as she could to break his hold.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus barred his teeth back at her. Not for intimidation, but for the fact it was all he could do to hold her. His eyes met with hers. Sweat rolled down his forehead. He couldnt keep this up forever. For now though, he retained his hold.

The only way he could think to retain her was a stun shot from his blaster. But he would be hard pressed to get her off of him and get up without being mauled, let alone get up, draw his blaster, set it to stun and fire...

It was worth a shot though. As she was pulling back, Silus leaned up with her and rolled left, his hands, still wrapped around her muzzle.

s'Ilancy was now on her back. As quickly as he could he pushed her head down hard, knocking it against the floor. Using the push to also push off of her, he rolled backwards. He went up and over, landing nearly on his stomach, though putting his hands down and jerking backwards to his feet. He completed the avasive manuever by quickly backstepping. As he did, he reached behind his back for his blaster, setting it to stun as he grabbed it....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

She yelped as her head hit the floor, and as Silus rolled off her, writhed, doing her best to regain her footing. The blow was disorienting however, and left her confused for a few moments. Shaking her head, she surged to her feet and shook herself, feeling the motion travel from muzzle to tail, and turning, she faced him once more.

Lowering her body, her growl rose in the back of her throat, and leaping forward, sprung at Silus with lethal intent; paws reaching out to tear at him as her teeth snapped, threatening to tear him apart.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus, being preoccupied with his blaster, didnt have time to react. Her paws connected with him again and again he went to the floor. His blaster went skidding across the ground. It was set to stun now, but not very useful at this point...

S'Ilancy had a perfect footing on him this time. Silus quickly pushed up against her neck, trying to keep her razor sharp teeth away from him....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

Claws furrowing down his chest, she growled in his face, then snapped at him, her bloody maw mere inches from his nose. Bringing a paw up, she swiped him across his cheek then before snarling in rage. She would rip his throat out no matter what...

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus was beginning to think holding s'Ilancy's head away was a bad thing, as a claw cut across his face. At this rate, she would shred him to ribbons.

A look of anger was still stretched across his face. His blaster a few meters away. He had to get her off of him.

As s'Ilancy pressed down to bite at him, Silus let go off her throat and thrusted his shoulders up and leaned his head in, letting the top of his forhead bash into the tip of her nose....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

She howled, scrambling back and wiping at her muzzle with both paws to stop the sudden, lancing pain shooting through her nose.

[Silus Xilarian]

When s'Ilancy scrambled away, Silus scraped to his feet. In one long stumble, he got to his blaster. He tripped as he grabbed it. As he fell he tucked and rolled, quickly turning around.....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

She was intent on killing him, and as she lunged at him, reared up, ready to slam him to the ground once more.

As he turned, s'Ilancy lunged at him. This time he wouldnt go defensive. He kept his momentum turning, and with his left hand balled into a fist, he caught s'Ilancy with a hard left hook to her jaw....

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

The punch jarred her, and she howled in pain, once again running paws over her face.

With a withering glare, the vornskr stared up at Silus, the hair on her shoulders standing up as she snarled, getting ready to spring at him again.

[Silus Xilarian]

As s'Ilancy reeled from the punch, Silus was already backing up with his blaster aimed. He had no other choice. If he had to do it, now would probably be his only chance.

It looked as if s'Ilancy was going to lunge again. Before she could, Silus pulled the trigger. Though he was shakey at this point, the stun blast connected none the less...

[Loklorien s'Ilancy]

The vornskr dropped like a rag doll, eliciting a yelp before falling silent.

Unconsciously she changed, reverting back to human form as her silver hair receded back into her body, limbs lengthening and face widening out. Her morph was smooth, the transition flawless as she lay on her side on the floor. And as with Diego, she too had numerous wounds all over her bare body, all ranging from lightsabre gashes to glancing blaster shots to simple fist wounds.

s'Il was out cold.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus stood for a moment. His heart felt like it was going to beat its way out of his chest. The blaster in his hands dropped to the floor.

His whole body trembled...

His blaster was forgotten as Silus slowly walked to s'Il. He knelt down, sliding his hand to her neck. Feeling a pulse, he gently rolled her over, biting his lip as he looked to her face. He brushed back a lock of her hair that layed lazily over her face.

Silus took off his jacket and layed it over her nude body. Then, reaching an arm under her, he lifted her to almost a sitting position as he wrapped his arms around her and buried his face into her hair...
