I just got my revenue reports today for Vin Diesel World from June, July, August, and so far in September. I hadn't logged in to check them before because I lost my login info, but today I got a VERY pleasant surprise!
Never in my wildest dreams had I seen such an incredible level of success for that site that I bought last October for only $250. It is my finest business venture yet, and also one of my cheaptest. It goes to show that you make your money when you BUY, not when you sell.
Here was my traffic for the last few months:
April: 214,000 page views.
May: 250,000
June: 450,000
July: 650,000
August: 1,933,000!!!
(Generally each visitor looks at 7 to 8 pages, so in August that would mean about 250,000 different people saw my site).
In May I made $87 from popup ads, which is a check I received this month. In August, I made a whopping $648!!! That is plus $151 in poster sales, $62 in banner ads, and $27 from FineClicks. Nearly $900 in revenue from ONE single month!
September has already hit $220 in popup revenue and $30 in poster sales and seems on course for $500.
I'm so stoked about that site, my god. I cannot wait to unveil my next large project, though, which I'll be able to show you guys in the next week I hope. :)
