In the future, fleet sizes will be limited, of course. So what are we to do about this? We may no longer have 10 Super-Class Star Destroyers, and 30 Alpha-Class Star Destroyers. The Hammer-Class is our answer. It is a fast, effective, Light Cruiser. The Hammer-Class can obliterate a squadron of starfighters, or, along with many counterparts, go up against a larger, heavier cruiser.
Its 2 TIE Devil Squadrons can be used for reconnaissance, or battle engagements, while providing a long-range amount of punch, in addition to the Hammer's own turbolasers. Hammer Cruiser Commanders can expect this ship to be able to go up against a Dreadnaught, and emerge victorious.
