hey guy's sorry to throw this up in here , but need help. I need to know if there is a good program out there that can compress some or all of my hard drive space. A program that,I a simple minded fellow can understand . anyhelp would be cool. And if so let me forewarn you I may ask lots of questions. anywho thanx.

No, compression is a bad idea. You could have problems and the only way to solve it would be to reformat. So before we go any further , why do you want to compress?

Only if your Windows 98. Use native NTFS compression for XP / 2000, never had an issue or problem. Never, ever use a third party compression tool, that be the truth.

Well, unless its for indivdual files, a-la zip or rar.
