"Coruscant, an all too familiar setting. For many it is a home, and for an unlucky few, it is a grave - but then, aren't all those who waste away their lives upon the planet forsaken from birth? Their putrid existence only adding to the pollution that already smog’s the cities, the poor live off of the work the honest do, whilst the rich squander what money they have on luxuries that they were undeserving of. The disgusting cattle population lives its drone life, watching its TV and sipping its coffee, unaware of the terrors of the galaxies.

Ignorance, sheer ignorance that they should block out the fact that each day, many die around them. In the streets when night falls, things lurk and slay freely. The mass of humanoids has grown to such an extent now that each person is merely a number, another notch on the count of lives Coruscant has to boast. One is killed, no one notices. People move on, numb to the violence around them. I could kill a whole town and people would blame the horrific flesh wounds on some form of virus - they don't need those people, they can impregnate their whores again and again, creating more and more offspring to replenish the herd..."

***

Whispering and the low murmur of voices filled the pathways, as shops and bars offshoot from the road literally vibrated with the sound from within. The stench that rose up from the sewers, akin to that, which surrounded the people themselves, was nauseating, especially to one with such heightened senses. His eyes eased half shut as he strode, steel-toed boots clicking against the stone underfoot. A slight intake of breath and a cool spiral of air whirled from his lips, slipping up towards the inky black sky.

He walked without a single word to the one who paced by him, though he would acknowledge his presence on occasion with a glance in his direction. For the most part, the two had been silent for their whole walk from the upper side of the city, and it was only now, as they descended into the far less pleasant part of the town, that the Dark Jedi began to show much physical movement - aside from his steps.

His eyes narrowed sharply, training in on something up ahead. As the lights around them faded, signaling the decrease in the amount of shops and increase in the squalid housing, he could spot the residents of the box flats passing to and fro in the shadows. They were accustomed to the oppressive atmosphere, and held little fear - they were numb. One in particular was courageous, or infinitely stupid, enough to sit out on the street, her back slouched against a wooden fence as she stared out into the desolate road.

As Vega and his acquaintance approached, her eyes did not even rise to meet them. It was pleasing infact that she reacted as such, as it allowed the next transpiration to go smoothly. His fingertips caressed the hilt of the dagger he held in his cloak pocket as he stopped, right in front of the girl. Still, she seemed oblivious.

And so, with a quick motion - cloak tail whipping upwards as he knelt - he drove his hand outwards and downward in a plummeting stab into her body. The blade cut straight into her clothing and flesh, driving through her breast as it was yanked out and to the side, sending a choking spew of crimson over her hands as she scrambled to her feet, grasping at her body. With the dagger once again poised, the Dark Lord drove it forward and thrust it straight through her throat, impaling the whelp and thus pinning her against the fence.

The momentary manic glint in Vega's eye faded and he became impassive once more as he turned to face his friend.

"I detest this place."

It had been a long while since Sieken had been here last, in fact it was with his family when he was but a boy, when the NR still had the place to themselves. He cared little for the stinking rat infested city that it was, although it was always good for what Sieken and his Master had set out to do this very eve. The night seemed damp and horrible, the rain was making everything it touched shine in its own way reflecting the light from its cold wet surace.s and so on, the heavy droplets however did not affect the Dark Jedi Knight his exoskeleton suit shielded every part of his body.

He cared not for killing people contently, he saw little point in that. Sieken only killed when he saw pleasure in doing so and tonight would be one of those nights..A hunt as it were...a hunt to sort power over the peasants of the streets and of course, a hunt to steal the lives of the one the Dark lord ordered to be killed as if he was a deity, he killed who he please he created what he wanted, it was just your average Vega Van-Derveld. Not that Sieken always liked the Lupine, the forced race upon him made Sieken almost detest the creature, but then in a way loyalty and friendship came long with that. It was not long after the long walk to the very bowels of the city paid of, a woman, mid thirties maybe ,sat out of the shadowed ally ways and conduits as if fear full of nothing the street had to offer.

The woman would pay the price for that one single most biggest mistake of her life, she was slaughted infront of the two Dark Jedi like a sheep. It was satisfying to Sieken to say the least, cause tonight would be a night to remeber.

'Stupid woman...' Sieken added to Vegas words.

He returned the low speech in his own overtly arrogant town, accentuated and foreign sounding - and ever regal.

"I believe the next victim is your choice, Sieken,"

It was unusual for Vega to wear a hood of any kind, though tonight his face was shaded by the cowl of his cloak, the shroud slipping below his eyes to shade the Dark Lord from the rain and general spits of the sickening area.

The hunt tonight, as Sieken had thought, was on. It had been a long time since Vega's blade or saber had cut into something, and though he had no fear of it growing rusty, he was very eager to get back into the swing of his younger days as a darksider. It may not have been the way of the Hand to indulge in such things, but he permitted himself to do so, as he thought it was in his nature.

"Pick someone who will scream," he added.

"I grow tired of these submissive kills, and their pitiful eyes begging for mercy. There must be someone with a bit of strength in them in the streets, and if not I am sure our blood shedding will flush out some worth opposition in due time,"

Vega remarked off hand as he began to stride on further into the shadowy streets.

Sieken gave a smirk his face also shrouded by the darkness of a great hood also. He moved his head side to side and poped it with a crack. Looking around himself however most if not all of the residents of this god rejected place had long since escaped there grasp from viewing the recent events with the middle aged woman. It was time to take this hunt a little step fowards...Sieken wanted to get a kick out of this and it would be the perfect time to do so.

'Lets do some stalking Vega...'

Sieken said with a evil grinn under the black hood.'Lets "hunt" them down and follow them..something they can fear before there final breath...' He said looking up as his Master and then back down to a young woman walkingout from a nightclub and down a dark ally perhaps towards her boarded up reatreat...or perhaps to meet a "client" or all sorts. Sieken gave but a evil grin.

He gave an agreeing nod and the two began to walk. To most they would simply appear as wealthy gentlemen, shading their faces from the ill weather, not as two well-trained killers, out for their next perverted conquest.

Already, without the presence of the two darksiders, the woman was fearful. Perhaps one two many bad encounters with customers or fellow citizens had left her edgy - whatever the reason, fear riddled her mind as her eyes wandered through the black around her, ever convinced something was following or watching her. Her suspicions this evening would be justified eventually though it would be in a most perculiar manner.

As they approached, Vega picked up pace and opened a mental link with the Knight.

"I am going to confuse her... lead her somewhere interesting. Follow, and jump in once I have vanished."

Vega jogged forward and around the corner. With a soundless jump, he lifted himself to the rooftops, and skulked through the metal work across the tops of houses. Running with fluid stealth, he easy cleared the distance between himself and the woman, his cyan eyes falling to watch her as he dismounted the rooftop, a good thirty feet infront of her. As she continued on forward, unknowing, he stepped out into her line of walking - causing the woman to bump straight into him.

"Oh, oh.. I'm sorry," he gave a nervous laugh, noting the look of confusion given by the woman. Raising one hand, he cast back his hood and offered a reassuring smile.

Sieken watched his master and the young girl from a few meters away shrouded deeply in the shadow of the darkness of the ally. He looked at Vega... a laugh?....a smile?.Even though it was fake it was still the first time in a long while the big bastard had shown such a mood and Sieken was quite taken by the fake affection showing a little smile himself under the black hood as if amused by Vegas "charm".

His flowing cloak drifted silently behind him in the wind as he looked on to the two sillohettes in the foreground

"Oh no dear... I didn't... I mean I wasn't-"

He rose up one hand towards the woman and set it down against her shoulder, giving another warm look. Though it may have seemed somewhat insincere, it was the best she would have had in the long time, he imagined. A quick brush against her mind revealed her life was far from pleasant, and being a 'working girl' certainly wasn't the job she would have favored - though she didn't have much choice now, it appeared.

"I'm ever so sorry I bumped into you, ma'am. It's just so dark here,"

There was an agreeing nod from the woman, where upon Vega smiled more broadly and stepped to the side, motioning off down the alleyway to the woman as if to let her walk by. Her gaze lingered on him for a moment:

Don't worry, Anne. Look, he's a nice handsome gentleman; he was probably just in a hurry and bumped into you... Go on, walk. Walk past him, yeah. Ok, now on home...

He narrowed his eyes, and canted his head slightly as he listened in on her thoughts, before looking down at the stone under foot. With a slight wave of his hand, he drew one of the rats that were scurrying about in the area so that it ran straight in front of her. She squealed, and instantly he lurched forward, catching her from falling.

"Careful now," he whispered.

She returned the gesture by looking up over her shoulder very slightly, her body stiff from fear of what might happen next. She, as others, had heard stories of questionable figures such as the one who held her now, and what they did...

"What say I take you for a drink? You look like you could use warming up. My treat."

Don't do it, you don't know- DO IT.

"That sounds nice."

This said, he began walking her, slipping his arm through hers, further into the shadows, engaging in light conversation to keep her idle mind entertained.

Sieken raised a brow as Vega toyed with the woman, then they starting walking off down into the shadows of the dark ally arm in arm. Sieken at this point had thought his master had ether lost it, or had a plan in mind...ether way it would be a intresting sigh to see. Sieken fliped his cape around his back to stop it flapping as he pased behind he "couple" he eyes locking on to the dark figure of Vega.

Sieken as he followed silently began to think a little bit. More often than not why he had to hide in this gray suit to hide his forced race....no matter, it matterd not now that he was here and could not turn to huamn again on the plus side it was a darn more appealing than a bloody Vamp.

'MEAAAAOOOWWW!!!' A bloody cat screamed, sending Sieken into a fit of panic and quickly like a shadow shot behind a wall and out of sight dragging the remainder of his cloak behind the wall also.....Vega was going to kill him...he grimesed at the thought.

'Damn it!' He wisperd

The woman jumped, startled, though found comfort in the fact that Vega tightened his hold on her, turning to look around. After being reassured it was simply a cat she lightened up once more. Vega chuckled softly as she told a joke, and the two played a volley of words for a few minutes before they came to a halt. It was at this point that the woman's mind became concerned for the first time in a while. She most certainly did not recognise where she was, and now was regretting being lead away by the man.

"Where are we?"

"If you kiss me, I will tell you," he replied, a serpentine smile curving into his lips. There was no repy, but the word 'rape' shot into the prostitutes mind instantly.

"No?"

Vega quirked one eyebrow and looked a little dissapointed.

"Hmm... then maybe you would like to kiss my friend?" he said, motioning one hand back towards where Sieken was crouched.

Sieken emerged from the darkness to reaveal himself, this time the hood was down and the two red eyes of his balaclava type helm shined a low toned red, the constent breathing through his ar tube made the woman panic as if she had see a monster or a specter....perhaps she just had.

'Ah, so you work for you living do you sum?...what do you do?..hmm?...satisfy old men?...tennagers what?..whats your age group..im sure me and my partner here would certainly be intrested...you see...we are here...to play....a little game as it were' He was now up to where vega standing...his full suit now in visual contact with the woman..all but the cloak hiding some of the suit.

'We are going to play a game called...."Slasher"...heres how it works....we take a girl..IE you and kipnapp her..if she dont scream for her life as we see fit...you die...seem fair to you...?' Sieken said canting his helmed head to the side.

Vega Van-Derveld
Aug 29th, 2002, 10:03:00 AM
A childish chuckle erupted from Vega's lips as he watched the reaction to Sieken's appearance - the woman began to stagger backwards. The tall gentleman who had been escorting her now looked so much more grim, and visibly showed the elongated canines he bore. He brought one glove hand upwards and clenched it into a fist.

"Infact, even if you do scream,"

He began, taking a few lazy steps forward as his head tilted to the side slighty, his voice falling to a whisper.

"We are still going to kill you."

"NO!"

"Oh yes, I'm afraid so. You've wasted your life, you filthy whore. Now you are getting what you deserve - you're going to rot in the gutters and be devoured by the rats that you copulate amongst so often!" he chimed in an almost cheery voice.

With an over exaggerated spin on the heel of his book, he motioned towards Sieken.

"Cut the cake if you will, Sieken," he laughed.

Sieken landed to the floor with a heavy thud, but with one fluid motion Sieken had regained his sences. He then lifted his legs up his knees touching his chest and fliped back up onto his feet he smiled somewhat at the nerve of whoever it was. It was then that Sieken took one quick glance behind himself and with seped as if a blur siekens leg shot out and side kicked the woman into the chest sending her back against the wall and the woman.

' FOOL!...'He snaled 'Now you shall both perish...two lives for one...'

Vega swept his head around to see Sieken floored, and instantly flicked his claws out - through the fabric of his glove - and drove them into the ribcage of the frightened girl. Snarling, he ripped them upwards before throwing her backwards with the aide of the Force, sending her smashing into the brick wall at the end of the alley.

His ears rung loudly as his eyes rose upwards, away from the assailant who had attacked Sieken, and he felt him. It was as if he couldn't go anywhere without him being there now. Letting out a gutteral growl, he swept one hand upwards and aimed his palm out at Soolin, causing her to hit the wall even harder than she would have if she had been propelled simply by the kick.

The meteor hammer entwined around Sieken's face, and a sudden, intense pull slammed him to the ground, as the weapon withdrew from him at equally high speed)

The Dark Lord moved in motion with the kick, ducking sideways to avoid the strike as he drove his now clenched fist out into the Jedi's stomach. With a few quick wide steps backwards, he clears the distance between himself and the lightsider to a large size - around 10 or so foot - as his eyes fall downwards, looking to the rattling pebbles and stones.

:: The brick wall behind Vega suddenly exploded, throwing out chunks of masonry in a tremendous blast. The shockwave rocked the Dark Jedi back, but as he turned, the masonry bits began to slow in mid-flight, and suddenly, altered their trajectory, each accelerating full-force directly at Vega, assailing him with a brutal, rapid-rire barrage. IC: Sieken the "Dark Jedi Knight" was hit to the ground once more with her force pike with the very few hits that didnt quite hurt but the power of it kncoked him to the ground. However Sieken was not done with the foolish woman yet, Sieken wraped his foot around the calf of the Jedi Warroir and with a force puched kncoked her down and hard against the street floor smashing her head first into it. 'Foolish Jedi Woman...'He snnerd getting up from the wet ground. he looked down at her for a few momentsand then looked over to the Jedi Knight who was actually close by, Sieken gave but a evil grin and flinched before setting off towards him.

Sieken then with force speep spirinted towards the Jedi Knight and flew into the air with a flying kick, the Jedi however was to engrossed with the healing of the peasent and his attack came to quick to doge and thus Siekens foot cnnected with the face of the Jedi Knight sending him sprawling away from the peasent and onto the floor.

'We never did finish our fight last time did we....its ether you...or the peasent girl....DESIDE OR IT WILL BE BOTH!' He cried

The Dark Jedi instantly brought his palms up and together so that they formed a cup, which he pushed out towards the on coming bricks. Flicking both hands down to the sides, he sent the bricks crashing down against the ground, shattering into tiny ceramic shards.

His eyes were constantly trained on Anbira, the Jedi who was so found of his dramatic entrances. Vega gave a slight knuckle as he watched the 'floating' Jedi, moving one hand from the other to send out a Force push at the lightsider.
