Marcus suggested we place the word ezboard on the censored words list, but I came up with another idea that would only apply to the GJO forums, and now we all need to come together and decide what to do.

I have the ability to automatically replace the word ezboard with any other word, group of words, or even with an image in only the GJO forums.

So far the most warmly received idea we have come up with so far has been to use this old spoof banner. (attached)

If you have ideas for a word, group of words, or an image to replace the word ezboard whenever it is used here, lets hear them and have a little vote. :)

Well, if people care so much for EZBoard and think it is worthy of a serious point - :p - then they could always just say EZ Board. Not hard to get around. I think it's funny but perhaps there's a way the banner can be physically made smaller otherwise it would eat up a post.

Wouldn't that banner be overkill? I mean, yeah, dissing Ezb*ard is fun and all, but doing that would be stretching the joke pretty thin, don't you think? Almost like a forced joke that's crammed down our throats.

After all, it's quite well known that no one likes those boards. Now it's everyone's opportunity to be witty and clever. Don't let a function of the board take that away from you.

I'm inclined to agree with Hart. Let people diss EzBoard in their own way if they want to. A banner/graphic is not practical, IMO. It'll just takes up space, and like Fett said, if anyone wants to make a serious point, it gets in the way.

Hey, I've got three EZ Boards of my own, and I really don't mind them all that much. Of course, I only made them out of necessity since BeSeen shut down... but still, I don't think it quite deserves as much slamming as we give it. It does everythign I want, and a little more. Sure, it's slow and hiccups every now and then, but hey, it's free....
