I like it as a symbol but perhaps not as the GJO symbol.
As with Liam and Das, I would prefer it to be a little more original but more improtantly, the JK2 symbol is supposed to be a light saber. Im not sure exatly what this symbol represents.

As I said before, its a good symbol and very good work, once again but perhaps not for the GJO.

Now youve talked about a symbol for the order, perhaps we could form some kind of competition to see who can come up with the best symbol and have everyone vote for it? Just a suggestion.

To do a unique "symbol" I would think would be difficult. To do this, you need to consider what the Jeid stand for and then apply symbolism - more importantly, not do it in our terms, but in Star Wars ones.

What is a Galatic symbol of peace and justice? What would it be for a Jedi? The only truly unique thing for a Jedi is The Force and a Light Sabre. How to incorporate that, I wonder?

I would further see no need for GJO unique symbol - only one that would mark us as Jedi. If that one does, then does it matter where it comes from?

Um yes, it does matter where it comes from. And when you apply symbolism, then basically anything we come up with can stand for the Jedi. I like Oriadin's idea. I mean we've been 'symbol-less' for years, so I do not think it would be too difficult to wait a bit longer for a competition to take place.

Competition wont work for All it takes is someone to get off thier bum and simply create, then submit for ideas and alterations until the majority want it. Isn't that what I am doing now? So get off your bum and make some suggestions or scketch one up for consideration.

Thinking of sketch, banner idea based on the symbol - and if ye want to use it in a sig, I have a .psd in black that will work nicely.

Rotate the pic 180 degress and make the sabre blades blend together. In Photoshiop, make them about 80 opaquie, merge layers then add a lens flare at their meeting point to disguise the joins.

Nice symbol, though it does remind me a lot of JK2 (yeah, I know, I'm repeating what's already been said).

As to the banner, it looks cool. But I noticed the banner says The Jedi Order instead of The Greater Jedi Order. I wasn't aware a decision had been made in changing the name. Or was that just an experiment?
