You know, that stupid TV show where people get up and sing and that British guy tells them to shut up and leave?
Just heard about this on the local news station, apparently Tamyra, the girl who was in 3rd place and got randomly booted off the show by the Englander, lives right here in Gaithersburg.
Odd coincidence. 300 million people in this country, and she just happens to live in the same sleepy, 44,000-strong city-suburb of Washington D.C. as I do.
Huh.
Odd that someone from Gaithersburg should want to make it onto a TV show. We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner! I can't think what anybody sees in them.

I stopped watching reality shows after the first Season of Survivor ended. That was the best season. It wasn't made out as a show with hot chicks and people that are actorish. It was made of real people. Like Rudy(the coolest) and Sue. And Richard the gay guy.

I've always watched Big Brother, but aside from that - no reality shows.

I loved the first season of Survivor! The second season I watched half heartedly, and the third..etc...didn't see at all.
I sort of want to be ON Survivor though. >D

I don't get Survivor really. There are camera-men there with them, so it's hardly like they are isolated from the world. I know they have to do tasks and stuff.. it's just.. bleh

Gah, MTV's The Real World is the only Reality show I watch, and not even on a regular basis either. I dunno, if they can't find writers who can make s script, it seems they resort to reality shows. There must be a severe shortage of decent writers int eh studios nowadays.
The concept of Survivor is nice, but, the show is dissappointing, and all these contest reality shows just really cheese me off for some reason. And the dating shows, good gravy those should be taken off the air!
And we wonder why people are seeming dumber nowadays...

Well, in Survivor, they(suppossedly) aren't allowed to make contact with the camera crew at all, nor are the camera crew allowed to make contact with them.
I dunno, as for American Idol, I just look at it this way: Hundreds of Thousands of people are trying out against each other for the chance to become a Pop star... Why? I'm just waiting for the surprise ending where the winner is crowned the stupidest, most superficial person in America, and shot or something. Dieties know we sure the frell don't Need any more pop stars. >_<

I hate reality TV. The only way I would be on it is to destroy somebody's pathetic life.

All these "reality TV" shows give me deja vu. AI sounds all the world like "Star Seach" from the 80s, which was a glorified version of "So and So's(can't remember the name) Amateur Hour" from the 60s (boy, am I dating myself). And there's another show where contestants have one minute to impress the judges that sounds all the world like a remake of the 70s "The Gong Show."
If I want "reality TV," I'll just watch Animal Planet, thank you :p

Tom Lehman (A pretty good golfer) is from my 9,000 person town.
And the only reality tv I've watched in full was not real, and either on SNL, Mad TV, or one specific episode of Mission Hill (on Adult Swim)
