Dodge, jump, kick...(Open spar)

[Alpha]

Satine flips in the air, landing a double kick onto the punching bag he was abusing. Landing on his feet, he quickly hits it with three vertical punches, and then a spinning back kick, smiling, Satine, jumps up for a flying side-kick, throwing the bag backwards. Satine lands in a crouch, and that's when he heard someone behind him.

"Come for a spar?"

[Zeke]

"Sure, why not?"

Zeke had been watching Satine, studying his techniques, trying to pick up something to help him in his own battles.

"Are we fighting barehanded or with sabers?"

[Alpha]

"either way works. You decide."

[Zeke]

"How about both? We'll start barehand and when we've had enough, we draw. Fair deal?"

[Alpha]

"That works quite nicely." Satine says, finally standing up, to his full height. He quickly pulls his silver hair back, and ties it off into a pony-tail, then getting into a fighting stance.

"You can have the first move..."

[Zeke]

Zeke didn't respond, but instead shuffled forward with a swing kick to Satine's head.

[Alpha]

Satine ducks under the kick, and then sweeps out Zeke's legs. As his opponent gets up, the silver haired Jedi aims a side kick at Zeke's chest...

[Zeke]

Zeke rebounded quickly from the sweep and caught Satine's foot. He slid in and put his shoulder into Satine's chest, knocking him off balance. Zeke then moved in with a backfist.

[Alpha]

Satine throws himself away from the punch, backflipping, and landing back on his feet. He steps in, and launches a volley of three punches, and two axe kicks, one of which Zeke blocks, and the other sends him sprawling.

[Zeke]

Zeke staggers from Satine's last attack, and assumes a new stance. He comes flying in with a round kick, then a swing kick, then another round kick.

[Alpha]

Satine manages to block the first round kick, but is smack with the other two, hitting a wall. Shaking his head to clear it, Satine rushes at Zeke, creating a Force wall behind his opponent. Satine blocks a punch from Zeke, and then grabs the hand, throwing him into the wall. Hard enough to hurt, but not enough to really damage his friend.

[Zeke]

Zeke fell upside down against the Force wall, then onto his back as Satine undid the Force wall. Zeke stood and drew his blue saber.

"Now for sabers."

[Alpha]

"You got it." Satine says with a grin.

He unclips the sabre from his belt, hitting the button on the hilt. It hums for a second, as it scans the Knight's DNA, to make sure it matched the proper user, and then crackles to life, the disturbingly black blade coming out of the hilt with a prolonged hiss.

[Zeke]

"This time, you get first move."

Zeke grounded himself in a basic defensive stance and awaited the attack.

[Alpha]

satine nods, and then slowly begins to circle Zeke. As Zeke turns to keep the Knight in his line of sight, Satine feints left, and then quickly switches to a right stab.

[Zeke]

Zeke followed, almost tricked by the fake-out, then comes back and swats away Satine's blade. His counter was a simple overhead strike; he'd pick up the pace as the spar demanded it.

[Alpha]

Satine blocks, and then pushes against Zeke's blade, tossing him backwards a bit. Spinnign his sabre, Satine slashes at Zeke's knees.

[Zeke]

Zeke nimbly jumped Satine's saber, then followed with a diagonal strike from Satine's upper left to lower right.

[Alpha]

Satine creates a Force shield in front of him, the sabre strike bouncing off with the charactieristic crack! of Satine's shields. He grins, and slashes tiwce, once high, once low.

[Zeke]

Zeke blocked high and jumped, then ducked around under the blades and spun with a kick.

[Alpha]

Satine jumps back, away from the kick, and then grins, throwing a Force blast at Zeke, and then coming in with a stab...

[Zeke]

Zeke went with the Force blast, using it to dodge the stab, then came low under it with an elbow. Satine was rocked back, and Zeke followed up with a slash.

[Alpha]

Satine forms a force shield, and Zeke's sabre rebounds off with the trademark crack Satine's shields always make. As the sabre rebounds, Satine disappates the shield, and then flips up and over Zeke, and then slashing quickly...

[Zeke]

Zeke put his saber behind and above him, blocking and spinning to face Satine. Surely it would get tougher than this...

[Alpha]

Satine gives a little chuckle, and then begins anew--this time faster. He starts with two half-slashes, and then a full on slice, directed at Zeke's knees, before quickly switching to a high stab.

[Zeke]

Zeke blocked the half slashes, jumped, and fell back to avoid the stab. He couldn't recover enough to counter, so he steeled himself for the next attack, looking for any point where he might gain enough advantage to recover.

[Alpha]

Satine grins, and spins his sabre.

"Would you like me to slow down, buddy?" he asks in a joking tone.

[Zeke]

Zeke used the pause to regain his defense.

"Not a chance! If it were real, I'd get no mercy!"

[Alpha]

"Well, depends on who you fight..."

Satine jujps at his friend, slashing down. the two sabres lock, throwing off black and blue sparks. They continue like this for a while--pushing to gain advantage--until Satine tires of it. He suddenly cuts off his sabre, throwing Zeke forward, and jumps and rolls to the left to avoid the incoming lightsabre. It was a risky move--he called it the shdaow dive--but it did work most of the time. As Zeke was gaining his balance, Satine gets to his feet, reignites his sabre, and aims a slash down...

[Zeke]

Zeke drew his gold saber and blocked, stopping the blade bare inches from his face. He pushed back from Satine and stood his ground, catching his breath. After a few seconds pause he lunged with both sabers in a dual horizontal attack.

[Alpha]

Satine, faster then the eye could follow, grabbed his second blade, and ignited it with the exact same sound and look as his first one. They blades were twins after all. He blocks both of the attacks, and then spin side kicks Zeke, throwing him back. Satine gets into a proper fighting stance...

[Zeke]

Zeke staggers from the force of Satine's kick, then approaches again. He feints to the sides, then attacks with an overhead slash.

[Alpha]

Satine, instead of blocking with a single, direct block, goes wide, first going out to the sides, and then going to the top, where he blocks the main assault. Grinning, Satine thanked the Force for the little hint, and then pushes against Zeke's sabres, knocking him off balance. Satine then slices...

[Zeke]

Zeke fell over, his shoulders almost touching the floor, and the sabers whizzed by over his head. He then straightened back to a standing postion. This was good exercise, but he was wearing down. He'd have to call it game soon.

[Alpha]

Satine drops his sabres into a low guard, and looks at Zeke, circling him.

"Ready to call it game buddy?"

[Zeke]

Zeke stumbled forward and made a last attack on Satine, so slow and weak that the Knight didn't even have to defend.

"Yeah...that's game..."

He smiled and started to catch his breath.

"Thanks for the practice."

[Alpha]

Shutting down his sabres, Satine clips them to his belt.

"Don't mention it." he says with a smile. "You're pretty good, ya know?"

[Zeke]

Zeke grinned, happy to have the Knight's approval. He pocketed his own sabers.

"Thanks. And I'll only get better with time and experience."

[Alpha]

"Yup." satine says, then suddenly turns joking. "Though not ever as god as me, of course." he says with a laugh.

[Zeke]

"Maybe not AS good, but close enough."

Zeke grinned.
