Daetana Jinn sat quietly in the small cafe, looking out the window as rain poured down. She sighed heavily; she was feeling bored. "You can only kill so many innocent people before it gets dull." she thought to herself, looking down at her empty glass of chocolate milk. She missed Gue, he was away on business, so she had nothing to do at all. She put her straw to her lips, slurping up the last of her drink and got up tp leave, when she noticed someone out of the corner of her eye.

[Zeke]

Zeke watched her diligently. She was the cause of much strife in the area as of late. He had been tracking her for some time, always a step behind, never quite making it until she'd been and gone. But now she'd stopped for some reason, and he'd caught up. He could take no action unless it was defense, and she had not caused anyone trouble for a while. He could attack in the name of the dead, but that was vengeance. Jedi didn't do vengeance, somehow. So he sat back, biding his time.

[Dae Jinn]

She had noticed the Jedi out of the corner of her eye, and smiled softly. She could smell the stench of the Light on him, but this would make for a little fun, at least. She walked outside, into the rain. She looked back at the Jedi through the window and winked at him, then gestured for him to follow before disappearing into the fog.

[Zeke]

Zeke set his glass down and pushed his plate of food aside. Out in the rain. Fun fun. He set his payment on the table and, checking his pockets for his sabers, gave chase to Dae.

[Dae Jinn]

She walked slowly in the rain, her cloak flowing gently in the breeze. She had pulled the hood up and her boots sloshed through puddles as she continued not going anywhere in particular. She could smell the Jedi getting closer and grinned. Dae turned down an alley and into a building. And waited.

[Zeke]

Zeke skidded to a stop. He wore no cloak, rain never bothered him. The dark one had evaded him...no, no she hadn't. A door banged in the wind. She'd gone in there. He turned down an alleyway toward an abandoned building, edging closer to the door, then stepping into it, his hands in his pockets where his sabers were.

"This chase ends here! Show yourself, darksider!"

[Dae Jinn]

Stands with her back to him, raising her hands into the air.

"Okay, okay, ya got me..." She turned slowly, smiling sweetly at him. "But why are you going after an innocent little thing like me? Haven't got anything better to do?"

[Zeke]

"Innocent, she say. You've killed several families of prestige in the area and slaughtered the homeless wholesale for the past 5 towns. I'm going to put a stop to it."

[Dae Jinn]

Raises an eyebrow.
"And what proof do you have that it was me? I'm not the only Sith in this town, or those towns..."
She grinned, her fang teeth gleaming dully in what little light streamed through the filthy windows.
"You might have followed the wrong person all this time..."

[Zeke]

Zeke's smile didn't fade.

"Enough pieces of people to make jigsaw puzzles."

It was a sickened smile he wore.

"Blood spattered everywhere. No doubt who it was."

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Well well well..."

A figure approached the pair.

"You could almost smell the tempers rising here...

...if one was inclined to smell tempers."

He grinned.

"Is there going to be a fight? You've attracted an audience."

[Dae Jinn]

Remembers this one from the Jedi bar. Sniffs.
"The only thing I smell is Van Derveld...."
She smirked, keeping her eyes on both of them.
"So what if I killed those people? No big loss, more where that came from....." She started laughing softly.
"Are you going to avenge them, Mister Jedi? Or are we gonna stand here all damn day? My arms are getting sore"

[Zeke]

"Make your move. Ladies first, as they say."

He'd worry about this other guy later, but he had to wonder what was meant by "audience"...

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Cut her nose off, Jedi."

His eyes had a flash of wildness to them.

"She'll be better off without it."

[Dae Jinn]

She lowered her arms, a hand flipping her cloak back. She unsheashed her katana sword and flashed a grin at them.

She lashed out, not at Zeke, but at Diego. Her swing with her sword barely missed him, but her boot to his stomach didn't. She turned to Zeke, slashing out at him, aiming for his head, chest and stomach.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Knocked back, Diego's body immediately arches into a fluid backflip, springing back until his momentum brings him back on his feet. There was a smile on his face.

"Ladies first, indeed! You're feisty enough."

His eyes turned to Zeke.

"Time to save the day!"

[Zeke]

"Yeah, really."

Zeke dodged the sword, feeling the breeze as it skimmed by, then pulled his hands from his pockets and igniting his 2 lightsabers.

"Unless that one of yours is saberproof, the fight is mine!"

Zeke crouched low, then sprang with an overhead cut.

[Dae Jinn]

Ducks, the sabers blade just grazing the top of head.
"Frell!"
She charged at Zeke, knocking into him and trampling him over as she took off into the darkness. Dae hated sabers more than anything, not having one of her own. She sheathed her sword and climbed up onto some old crates, waiting and thinking about what to do next.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego laughed as Zeke was bowled over.

"Did you get the lisence of that freight speeder?"

He turned, taking a furtive sniff in Dae's direction.

"I think you scared her. Now...we chase! I love chases!"

[Zeke]

"Fetch boy, fetch!" Zeke quipped. He held his sabers in front of him for defense and light and followed Dae. The warehouse was a dark maze of crates and barrels, she could be anywhere. Zeke paused and tapped the Force, reaching out to find Dae...

[Dae Jinn]

A large crate came crashing down on him, followed by several others. Dae kicked them down at the Jedi, hoping to distract him long enough for her to figure out a way to disarm him. She had to get rid of the sabers he held. She climbed high, kicking more and more crates down.

[Diego Van Derveld]

OOC: Zeke you should have no knowledge thus far of my abilities.

Diego crossed his arms, watching bemusedly as Zeke searched her out. She radiated in the darkness like a beacon to him...her identifiable scent and lingering adrenaline were essentially an olfactory billboard. He could chase her with his eyes closed.

"Here he comes, Daetana! Of course, with those laser swords, you don't need my warning, I think! Ready or not, run and hide! Fun, yes?"

[Zeke]

OOC: Just crackin' jokes, he knows nothing.

IC: Crates showered down on Zeke, and rolled aside to avoid them. She was on top of the crates...clever girl. He bounded up the crates and landed on the wall opposite her, sabers ready.

[Dae Jinn]

Her teeth gleamed as she flashed a smile at the Jedi.

"You heard the man, come get me...."
She jumped onto the top of the crate pile, and grinned.
"Perhaps, you'd care to fight like a man, and not like a worthless Jedi?"

[Zeke]

Zeke cleared the gap in a single Force-boosted jump and flew up the stacks at Dae, sabers forward for defense, ready to strike. He cleared the top, flying high and came falling from the sky with his sabers down to stab her.

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Jedi only save people, Daetana! Perhaps he needs a motive!"

Diego sat against a crate, watching with a decent vantage as the two played their cat and mouse game.

"What do you say, Jedi? Lets race! If you catch her, then you can capture her, arrest her, and maintain the peace. If I catch her, I kill her! Five hundred credits to the winner sporting enough?"

[Dae Jinn]

Sidesteps, and Zekes' sabers hit crate instead. She kicks him in the face, watching him tumble down, his sabers falling away from him. Grin gets bigger.
She climbs slowly down, stalking towards him as he lay on the cool cement floor. She smirked at Diego.

"I'll deal with you later...old man Van Derveld."

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Oh Daetana, that hurts my feelings when you talk like that!"

He smiled evilly at her.

"Maybe the Jedi can take your tongue instead. Thats much better than your nose!"

He spotted Zeke in hot pursuit.

[Zeke]

Zeke rose to a crouch, locating his sabers. One had fallen behind the stack. The other had fallen near him. He prepared a Force-pull and considered Diego's proposal. No matter who won, Zeke's mission would be accomplished, but to kill was wrong by Jedi standards. He cast a look at Dae.

"How much of a headstart do we give her?"

[Diego Van Derveld]

"She's a big girl. Ten minutes sounds like plenty of time!"

Diego stood from his perch, stretching his legs in a leisurely manner.

[Zeke]

Zeke walked over and retrieved his saber, then used a Force pull to call the other one over the stack. He stretched some too, never taking his eyes off Dae.

"Ten minutes then."

[Dae Jinn]

"Bastards," Puts a hand to her head and sighs."If I ever met a man who didn't try to kill me, I'd die of a heart attack...."

With that she was gone, sprinting out the door, disappearing into the fog and rain outside.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego lay on the ground, stretching a leg back, over his head.

"You wouldn't mind sparing me one of those laser swords, would you Jedi? Seeing as I am unarmed, and competing against such a person as you, it puts me at a distinct disadvantage."

He smiled, changing legs.

"I will return it in pristine condition, of course!"

[Zeke]

"How are you at a disadvantage? We're chasing her down, not fighting each other."

Zeke touched his toes.

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Yes, but in the spirit of friendly competition, we are rivals...and the object of the game is to catch her for our own purposes."

Diego flipped to his feet, stretching his shoulder joints in a series of windmill movements.

"And in that scheme of things, she is not our enemy, but the spoils of victory."

[Zeke]

"How about if I simply don't use my sabers? I'd loan you my blue one, but it was my master's, and the gold one has some glitches, so..."

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego shrugged

"Fair enough."

With a sigh, he removed his shirt, revealing a well-muscled physique, decorated with copious amounts of body hair.

"Well...thats about enough time, what do you think?"

[Zeke]

"On your mark..." Zeke said with a sigh. He steeled himself. "Get set..."

[Diego Van Derveld]

"...go!"

Diego ran forward, following Dae's tell-tale scent that still lingered. As the pair ran outside, Diego took a strange turn, seemingly leading nowhere. As Zeke passed, he smiled. Once the Jedi was out of sight...he changed.

Shaking away the remainder of his clothing, Diego was now free to pursue with his full speed, and most acute senses.

Dae's time was running out.

[Zeke]

Zeke ran, watching as Diego turned off. This would make things interesting. Reaching with the Force, he got a fix on Dae's prescence. He moved in toward it, dodging traffic and people as he did so. Force boosting was helping some, but he couldn't go all out without losing track of her. He'd spot her visually first, then go all out.

[Dae Jinn]

Dae had gotten fairly far from her "starting" point at the warehouse, and had entered a crowded resteraunt. Surely they wouldn't attack her here, but she couldn't count on anything now. She ducked into the back kitchen area. A chef spotted her.
"Hey! You aren't allowed back here!"
She smirked, grabbing the man and in one quick motion snapping his neck. She sighed, and continued out the back way.

[Zeke]

Dae's Force signature wavered, meaning interference from many other Force signatures...a crowded place. Shortly he arrived at an eating establishment. He shouldered his way through the crowd and stood atop a table looking for her.

"Anyone see a hot chick pass through here?"

Several fingers pointed toward the kitchen.

"Hey, punk! Get down from there!" The restaurant had bouncers, and they were all for throwin' Zeke out the door.

"Hey, wait, ya don't understand! There's a..."

Zeke landed on his butt in front of the place.

"Well now." He ran around the side of the building.

[Diego Van Derveld]

In full sprint, the wolf gained ground on Dae quickly. As soon as Zeke rounded the corner of the building, Diego ran straight through it...causing a riotous pandemonium as terrified patrons got out of the wolf's way. Even the bouncers paid due respect to the creature, as it bounded through the kitchen. It paused momentarily at the dead cook, sniffing...and then once again, was on the trail!

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus saw the commotion outside the resturant, and he saw the lady, Dae Jinn, companion of Lord Gue, headed straight for the resturant. Silus calmly walked up to the bouncers, and instructed them to allow the lady in, for she was a friend. He also told them the young man following her was a trouble maker. He handed them a handful of credits and calmly walked through the resturant, through the door into the kitchen area. One of the chefs tried to stop him, but Silus paid the man no attention and strolled out the back door. Silus waited until he heard her coming, and listened as it sounded as if she had stopped, and Silus heard the distinctive sound of a body hitting the floor. Silus grinned as he heard her near the door. As Dae exited the building, Silus grabbed her, covering her mouth to prevent any kind of scream or the such, then released her, bringing his finger to his lip as if asking her to be quiet....

So tell me, what is it thats got you so wound up?

[Dae Jinn]

Glares at him.
"None of your damn business, now get out of my way..."
She pushed him, starting to leave again. She looked around for some place to hide, some place to go. She turned back to him.
"You weren't followed, were you?!"

[Silus Xilarian]

Actually I was already here, it looks like you're the one being followed...

Silus kept an interested glare on Dae.

The wolf and the young man chasing you werent far behind, so if you dont want my help then I'd suggest you get going, though I dont know if you'll make it very far.....

Silus backed away from Dae, leaning back against the building. He offered help, whether or not it would be recieved was her choice.

By the way, give my regards to Lord Gue

[Dae Jinn]

Stops at the mention of her lovers' name. She turned and looked at him.
"You know Gue?"
She shook her head, and smiled. "Do whatever you want, I just want the hell out of here, alive if possible."

[Diego Van Derveld]

Zeke heard a deafening roar, seemingly from inside the restaurant. He found the back door and flung it open, entering and drawing his sabers. Whatever had just attacked the restaurant would have to deal with him.

[Diego Van Derveld]

In a bound, Diego lunged forward, slamming Zeke on his back, and using the Jedi's chest as a springboard to keep going...

[Silus Xilarian]

Lets just say im a friend of a friend...

Then Silus heard a howl. A rather loud howl. He instantly reached behind his back, underneath his coat and pulled a rail gun. Silus turned to Dae and tossed the weapon to her...

That may come in handy, if you decide to recieve my assistance

[Zeke]

Zeke was felled by a giant wolf. He stood quickly and assumed defense.

"Where'd THAT come out of?" He chased the wolf through the kitchen and to the back, where the meats and such were stored. Apparently it was after the food there.

[Diego Van Derveld]

The wolf loped down to a slow trot, upon seeing the man with his quarry. He froze, head low...a reverberating growl coming from his tooth-filled muzzle.

[Silus Xilarian]

After passing the gun back to Dae, Silus heard a low growl behind him. He turned in time to see a large wolf. Head low and growling, seemingly ready to attack. Something about this wolf gave Silus a bad feeling, something more than the fact that it was giving him the "Cujo" look....

Silus slowly backed up, careful not to make any sudden movements that would further enrage the beast....

[Dae Jinn]

"Aw frell...."
She took the gun, and ran, climbing onto the dumpster, then up the wall of the buliding, gripping the bricks and trying her best not to fall. She scrambled over the ledge and looked down.
"Hey! Get out of there!!! You're going to get yourself killed!!!" She shouted down at the stranger.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus didnt glance back, opting to keep a watch on the beast in front of him....

No no....It's ok, its probably just hungry...they say that animals in the wild are more afraid of us than we are of them...

Silus slowly backed up as his hand crept near the repeater rifle on his side...

Easy now.....dont be afraid....Im not gonna hurt ya.....

In his own mind, Silus laughed at himself....

[Diego Van Derveld]

The moment her back turned, Diego bolted for her, but was too slow to reach her before she climbed up the wall. He made a jump, whining as his claws slid down a few feet of brick wall.

[Zeke]

Zeke spotted Dae, and ran out past the wolf and Silus.

"Good luck, friend. You can handle yourself, right?"

Zeke knew from the bar incident with Taro Idol that yes, Silus could handle himself against this wolf. He pocketed his sabers and gave chase to Dae.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus turned and bolted after the wolf, as it bolted after Dae.

HEY! You werent supposed to do that!

The wolf lept at Dae, only to slide back down the dumpster, its claws making a grinding sound as it slid. As soon as it hit the ground, Silus flung an arm around its neck, yanking back on the beast as hard as he could as he held its muzzle shut with his free hand....

*struggling* See.....I got......everything.....under.......con....trol!

[Diego Van Derveld]

"rrrrrrrrrr-YIP!"

The wolf writhed about with Silus, bucking and struggling to get free. After a few seconds it ceased its efforts. Silus looked up to see Dae scale her vantage, and when he looked down....

"So nice to see you again!"

With flexibility of amazing proportions, the nude man Silus now held in a headlock brough his left leg up from his prone position, smashing across Silus's temple. As the mercenary was knocked flat, Diego sprung to his feet in a flamboyant somersault.

[Silus Xilarian]

Oh you gotta be kiddin me.....

Silus scrambled to his feet again. He knew something was strangly familiar about this wolf. He remember the fight he had with it before, and immediately remembered what he was up against....

Nice to see you too....You wouldnt happen to have my blaster would you, i kinda need it back...

Silus didnt enter any kind of stance, not wanting to lead on an attack, but he did position his weak side in front of him, so he could assume a fighting position, should the need arise...

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego looked at Silus with wild eyes, and had a smile on his face that was small, slight, and utterly uncomfortable.

"Your blaster? My apologies, I keep it in my other pair of trousers."

He held his arms wide. If there was anywhere for a blaster to be kept, rest assured, Silus didn't want to ask further.

"Now, my friend. If you'll excuse me...I've a chase to return to."

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus was a bit confused now...In human form the man was actually polite...

Whoa whoa whoa, dont run off just yet...Why exactly are you chasing her?

Silus was a bit confused that the Lupine didnt want to stay and try to rip Silus' head off after the last encounter they had....

[Diego Van Derveld]

He cast Silus a wry expression.

"You don't think she's worth a good chase?"

[Silus Xilarian]

All depends on what your motives are, Im afraid I cant let any harm come to her....And she has a lover, so I doubt that would be a good reason to chase her.....

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Thats bad news either way, I suppose. You're much too entertaining to be involved in Daetana's affairs."

He put his hands on his hips.

"Killing you is a waste of amusement. I've practically enjoyed your company, stranger."

[Silus Xilarian]

Alright, whats it gonna take for you to leave her alone?

Silus had almost forgotten about fighting now, and was actually enjoying an interesting conversation....with a streaker.....weird...

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego laughed.

"You have a bit of Quixotic fatalism, my friend. Risking your life over a girl...isn't that all so cliche'?"

He yawned a bit, looking at the point where Dae was last seen.

"Why do you care if she dies at any rate? You said yourself, she has a lover. You're behaving wholly un-mercenary, I'd say. Unless of course she's hired you into her employ. In that case, then I would have to kill you. Sad, huh?"

His eyes turned slowly back to Silus.

".......woof!"

Diego's brow creased as he laughed.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus cracked a small laugh at Diego's mock bark....

Well lets just say I have a friend of one of her friends that wouldnt be happy with me letting harm fall her way...And by the way, who says im a mercenary...

Silus thought for a moment....

I'll make a deal with ya....Yur wanting a god chase, right? Maybe a bit of a race.....How about we go after Zeke, whoever gets him first wins...I would think he would be more of a challenge anyways.....

[Dae Jinn]

She watches all this from the roof, still holding the rail gun. Smirks and aims it at Diegos' back before firing off a single shot at him. She could see the Jedi trying to get up the wall, and fired a few rounds at him for good measure before heading off again.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus jumped as he heard the shot. His attention turned to the roof in time to see Dae run off, with Rail gun in hand, with Zeke trying to scale the wall...

The Jedi's firing on us!

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego arched an eyebrow.

"Now, that would be--"

<font color=FF0000>THWOCK!</font>

"AAGH!!"

Diego drops to the ground, a large hole through his left shoulder. His face contorts in a painful expression as his right hand clamps across the massive flesh wound, applying pressure to prevent excessive bleeding.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus saw Diego get hit and immediately stood in front of him. As he side stepped his Repeater rifle came out, letting lose a flurry of shots in Zeke's direction...

Are you alright back there, I got you covered!

[Zeke]

Zeke skittered up the wall, using Force-boost to avoid Dae's shooting and cleared the roof. He cringed as Silus fired on him.

"Hey! I'm not the one with the railgun, pal!"

He ignited his two sabers and ran after Dae; she had something of a lead over him, but he was quick. He'd catch her and be done in time for dinner.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Gritting, Diego rose to his feet, blood pulsing from between his fingertips and down his body in long crimson rivers.

"Just fine! Only a flesh wound!"

It was in jest, of course. Calling it a flesh wound was optimistic in the extreme. Any more intense, and the arm may have been severed from the torso. Of course, if it didn't leave one of Diego's race cold, then it was only a half measure. Diego stood still for a moment, gritting his teeth as the bleeding slowly came to a halt. Sighing, he shook a red-soaked hand away from a hideous wound.

[Silus Xilarian]

Silus bit his lip for a moment, he wanted to chase after Zeke, but he didnt wanna leave the Lupine injured. In a way he'd gained a bit of respect for the man.

Silus looked at the wound, which was a lot worse than a flesh wound. Reaching to his side, he tore a sleeve from his shirt and handed it to Diego.....

Here put pressure on it.....

Silus opted not to call for help. The Lupine's mannerisms suggested that he didnt want to draw any undue attention on himself...

[Diego Van Derveld]

He waved the rag away.

"The bleedin's stopped anyway"

He gestured to the ghastly wound, which now seemed to have run itself dry. It seemed that if you looked at it long enough, you could actually see the flesh mending together. For now, he attempted to move his fingers, his eyes and nose fixated somewhere else.

"They're on the move again."

[Dae Jinn]

When Zeke had gotten onto the next roof, Dae was nowhere to be found. He heard a light crunching sound, like footsteps, coming up from behind him. Before he could turn, the blade of Daes' Katana had slashed it's way across his throat. Though the wound wasn't deep, it was enough to cause Zekes' blood to spill down the front of shirt. A boot to the back sent him falling forward. She stood over him for a second and grinned before running off.

[Zeke]

Zeke's scarf had caught most of the damage from Dae's katana, but it still hurt, and it still bled. He changed the scarf's position to stop the blood and try to alleviate the pain, and took off. She was on the next roof; fast li'l girl. He jumped, a Force-boosted leap that carried him across the gap to tackle Dae. As they fell to the floor, Zeke pushed off her back to keep his feet then held his saber at her throat.

"Game. Set. Match."

[Dae Jinn]

She snarled, and kicked at him as hard as she could. Her aim wasn't good for Zeke at all, as she hit him hard in crotch, causing him to double over and drop his saber. Dae quickly got up, kicking his saber away and unsheathing her own sword. She held it with the blade barely piercing the Jedis' chest.
"I think you spoke too soon, little Jedi"

[Zeke]

"You...cheapshot..."

He was feeling an incredible amount of pain, despite the fact that he was armored there. If he hadn't been, he feared the result. He shut one eye against the pain and eyed her with the other.

[Dae Jinn]

She moved her blade up his chest, to his face and cut a nice little slice above his left eye. Brings the blade down his face, and to his throat. She smiled sweetly.

"Now, you have a few options, Jedi. You can let me go, and live. You can try to stop me, and die. Or....we can have some fun with those two." She gestured with her head down to where Diego and Sil were."What do you say?"

[Sorsha Kasajian]

"Finish him."

:: the voice behind Dae was chilling ::

"Run your blade through his heart."

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego detected another scent carrying in the air. He turned back to Silus.

"You'll pardon me, but under such circumstances, I don't think I can spare my time confronting you."

Raring back, Diego plowed into Silus with a monstrous headbutt, sending him off his feet. By the time Silus wasn't seeing double anymore, Diego had dashed. Unfortunately, he couldn't scale the wall due to his arm. Nevertheless, there were other ways to the rooftop. Rounding the corner of the building, Diego charged a door with his good shoulder, sending it off its hinges.

[Dae Jinn]

Turns and raises an eyebrow at her Master.

"Sorsha...We may need him, that garou will be here any second. Unless you're going to handle him..."

She flashed a wicked grin.

[Zeke]

Zeke stood, seemingly with effort, and glanced at Sorsha.

"ANOTHER one after me." he said with happy sarcasm. "Am I THAT strong, or do you people just not like me?"

He looked between Dae, Sorsha, and the last place Silus and Diego had been seen. His blue saber lay on the roof a few feet away, his gold one was still in his pocket.

"You two can handle them. No sense in me doing your dirty work for you..."

He stepped back off the tip of Dae's sword, then ran for the edge of the roof with Force-boosted speed. He scooped up his saber as he went by then leapt over the edge. When they looked over the side for him, he was gone.

[Dae Jinn]

She ran after him, and stared over the edge of the buliding for a while before turning back to her master.

"He's gone...damnit!" Her lips formed a small pout. "Damn Jedi coward..."

She sniffed the air, and her frown was replaced with a smile.
" I smell Van Derveld. He's coming this way..."

[Diego Van Derveld]

The door to the rooftop burst open, as Diego's blood-spattered figure stepped into the light.

"Daetana! If I'd only known to plan for uninvited guests!"

[Sorsha Kasajian]

:: Sorsha whirls around with a grin, her hair whipping to one side as she faces Diego ::

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Ah, we've met before already."

[Dae Jinn]

Looks from Diego and Sorsha, and grins.

"Did you want to take care of him, Mistress Sorsha?"

[Sorsha Kasajian]

"No. Put the wretch out of his misery."

Something struck Dae from behind, pinning her solidly down for the briefest of moments as a snarl sounded off close to the darksiders shoulder. Then, springing from the floored warrior, the wolf - for that was what it was, a beast - landed and looked up towards Diego, barking loudly.

[Dae Jinn]

She grinned getting up to look at the wolf. sword in hand. She growled low in her throat.

"What did you say about guests, Diego? Shame on you."

[Diego Van Derveld]

An iron grip closed around Dae's sword hand, wrenching her wrist in such a manner that she would either relinquish the blade or have her arm broken.

"Tit for tat, Daetana. You're the one that raised the stakes, after all. Do you not want to play anymore?"

Still gripping her hand, he pressed a foot into the small of her back, extending Dae's already strained arm behind her back, fully exposing her centerline to the newly-arrived wolf.

[Elena Van Derveld]

The animal padded forward and bore two rows of razor sharp teeth before diving straight at Dae. Her paws became outstretched and ready, in mid air, to drive their claws into the flesh of the prey - right into her neck, where the attack was aimed for. The jugular.

[Dae Jinn]

Struggles, not letting go of her sword. She grinned.

"If you're going to hurt me, do it now. Get it done, Van Derveld. I have better things to do then listen to you prattle on. I didn't invite Sorsha, she came here of her own free will."

The wolf lunged at Dae and she bit her lip, not giving Diego the satisfaction of hearing her yelp in pain as the animal dug it's teeth in.

[Diego Van Derveld]

"Elena, hold!"

Diego addressed his daughter, giving a reprieve from the killing strike.

[Elena Van Derveld]

The wolf snapped its jaws shut before reaching Dae, and skidded to a halt infront of the girl. It's bright cyan eyes stayed on her face for a moment, before looking back up towards Diego.

[Dae Jinn]

Grits her teeth and slowly opens her eyes

"what the frell....." she whispered...

[Diego Van Derveld]

"This little game has gotten out of hand, and has ceased to be fun. Take your friends and leave, Daetana. I abhor an unfair game, as I'm sure Elena does, as well. What is the phrase in golf...a mulligan?

We'll call this a mulligan, then."

He relieved some pressure, allowing Dae to rise to her feet.

[Dae Jinn]

Stands in front of Diego, and smirks, raising an eyebrow.

"Any time you feel the need to play a fair game...just let me know..."

[Elena Van Derveld]

The wolf rocked back into a seated position, eyes becoming trained intently upon Dae as the tip of its tail flicked back and forth.

[Sorsha Kasajian]

"Bored now. Let's play another game, shall we???"

:: Shurikens whistle through the air, catching Deigo in the chest. They were silver, and they burned ::

"Aaagh!"

Diego's face contorted into a snarling scream as he dropped to his knees, his good arm fumbling to pull the shuriken free from his chest. The flesh around the throwing stars seared, and as he grasped them to tear them away, his fingertips began to blister over. Cursing, he tore the stars free, shuddering. Unlike normal wounds, such would heal badly, leaving a noticable scar.

[Silus Xilarian]

Zeke had disappeared from the others after leaping off the ledge, Silus however, still being grounded from the hit he had taken, had a better vantage point to view the escape. Silus took off, running diagonal to Zekes route, soon cutting him off...

So where were you heading?

[Zeke]

"Elsewhere."

Zeke feinted at Silus with his sabers. Silus dodged, and Zeke slid past, into an abandoned building. On the other side was a highway. Zeke jumped onto the roof of a speeder and was soon lost from sight.

OOC: I was supposed to be long gone in my last post, but that should do it now.

Smacks a hand to her face, she knew her master wouldn't have let this go THAT easily....She just watched as Diego screamed, knowing she could do nothing with-out recieving some punishment of her own, winching.
"owch...."

:: Sorsha leaps forward, planting a kick to Deigo's chest that sends him rolling over the side of the roof top ::

"Uungh!"

Diego now found himself suspended six stories over the ground, supported only by his fingertips of his one good arm. He could hold his ground, but surmounting back over the roof's edge was another matter.

[Sorsha Kasajian]

:: strides forward and crushes Diego's fingers beneath her bootheel, causing him to plummet to the ground below. She turns back to Dae and growls ::

"That's one down, Dae Jinn!!! The other is yours!!!"

:: grabs her by the wrist and slaps a silver dagger into her hand ::

"Slay the animal!!!"

"Aaaaaaaa.......UUMPH!!"

Diego plummeted the entire distance, slamming to the pavement. The impact broke most of the bones in his body, and caused enough trauma to kill any other person several times over. However...the Lupine lived on, although in excruciating pain, and unable to move. For now, he lay on his back, gasping in air amid spatterings of blood.

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: A black clad figure crouches by Diego. Soolin had seen the fall, and could sense the dark presence from the rooftop. She looks back down at the man she had met only just a few days ago and touches his hand ::

[Elena Van Derveld]

The wolf edged backwards towards the drop, snarling as Sorsha ordered her apprentice to destroy it. A quick glance down towards Diego revealed her father, lying in a crumpled wheezing mess. She winced.

Without any hesistancy at all, the wolf leapt from the roof top, and shot downwards, crashing down against the stone with a loud howl. The pain and adrenaline pumping through the beasts system forced her body to perform her next task.

Her back arched inwards before she curled up slowly, groaning as her body shifted jaggedly from that of a wolf back to a human, leaving the young woman lying down - completely still - by her father.

[Diego Van Derveld]

Diego looks at the dark-clad woman with blue eyes that would not focus. He blinks several times, attempting to speak.

"....S...Soolin...what a pleasant suprise."

He laughs wearily, until the piercing sound of his daughter's howl changes his demeanor. She lands in a heap, as he did...not much better for her efforts.

"Elena..."

[Dae Jinn]

Dae looked from the dagger in her hand to the fallen below and back at Sorsha. Then she grinned.

"Shall we finish them off?"

[Sorsha Kasajian]

:: Sorsha looks down at the raven-haired woman below, and for a second, their eyes meet ::

"If you want them, go and get them."

Raises an eyebrow. She had expected her master to leap at the chance to finish them off, but then she noticed the dark-clad woman below. She watched her crouch beside Diego.

"Uh....Sure....." She quickly crawled over the edge of the building and began scaling downwards. She hit the ground with a soft thud, and slowly walked to where they lay. She eyed the woman in black, slipping the dagger in her belt, raising her hands slightly. She got to where the "wolf" lay, and knelt down beside her.

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Soolin rose to her feet, palming a small metal cylinder into her hand ::

"Back away."

:: She stood ready, waiting for Dae Jinn to make the slightest misstep ::

[Elena Van Derveld]

She groaned, her eyes rising very slightly to see that the Sith stood beside her, though was apparently being warned away by a new arrival to the scene. Elena gave a groan and coughed, a pain shooting up through both of her legs. If she'd taken the fall in human form, it would have been far more painful though, so she was thankful that she'd not changed until she hit the ground.

"Ooowwwww,"

She attempted to curl up further, to nurse the pain, but this only made it sting more.

"Damnit.."

[Dae Jinn]

" You shouldn't move...."
She said softly, not making a move towards them. She reached into a pouch, taking out a few bacta bandages, tossing them to the woman in black.
"It isn't much, but maybe these will help...."
She walked off into the foggy darkness if the alley, disappearing.
