Sean Piett

Piett received his orders. They were simple. Do as you wish. He smiled a bit. For an incoming message on a high-priority channel, the message didn’t seem all that important. On the same channel, Piett sent back the following message: Happy Thursday. Not that Piett wasn’t particularly strict or productive: no, the opposite. In battle or the most remote of dangers, he was iron fisted and anything but benevolent. His crew, whatever crew he happened to be directing at the time, was secondary to the needs of the Empire. If they would not put forth their best effort to safeguard the ideals they’d sworn themselves to, they did not merit the privilege of serving on an Imperial warship.
The Luna Eclipse had been the name of an earlier charge, a modified SoSD. The ship was his, not the Empire’s. Though he’d owned a great many ships, the Luna Eclipse had always been his most memorable. Piett had no idea where she was. He… replaced her. This Nihilist-class Star Destroyer he commanded was christened Luna Eclipse upon Piett’s request. It had been his choice, but he felt… Remorse at abandoning the SoSD. Still, at only five years old, the elder of the Luna Eclipses paled technologically. Were the Nihilist scaled up to a Sovereign’s size, it could take at least two of the older models, at the least.
So, here was Piett armed with a beautiful ship and no orders. Well, nothing in specific. If he was expected to do as he would, then he would do it. “Helm, set in a course.”
“Where to, sir?”
He thought to himself. The New Republic was due an attack. He mentally pulled up a list of avid New Republic supporting planets. Bothawui immediately came to mind. The New Republic practically ignored the Bothan’s shady under dealings. There was obviously some reason for them to look the other way. Bothawui would be an excellent target.
"We must away, captain. To Bothawui."
"Affirmative. Setting course... Entering hyperspace."
