Okay two weeks to go and the race is still pretty heated though Yoghurt did jump over a few of us ;) This week could be tough with 3 new movies debuting, Undisputed, starring Wesley Snipes, and Ving Rhimes, Serving Sara starring Mathew Perry, Elizbeth Hurley and Bruce Campbell,and Simone starring Al Pacino and some computer created actress. Will any of them push out XXX or maybe Signs will retake the top spots, that is how difficult this weekend is. Okay you have until 9AM Saturday to get your guesses in, good luck.

Looks like just about all of us will get 1 and 2 right as far the bottom 3 well, Spy Kids too is going to stay 3rd but I think that is because Serving Sara didn't do great and Simone bombed, really 4 and 5 will be determined depending on what My Big Fat Greek Wedding does on Saturday and Sunday, I took a gamble with it and I hope it pays off. It is only 200,000 behind Blue Crush so I might get it. I guess we won't know until Monday.

Wow, if the estimates hold up I might retake the lead, I will be the only one who picked MYBFGW, and I should get XXX and I might get Signs, if the estimate is high I think it will go to JMK instead but still I am back in it and the top 3 is seperated by anywhere fromm 15-25 points, this game is going to get really close now and it will come down to Labor Day where the points are doubled and maybe somebody farther back could surprise us by taking the week.

Its not my fault, honestly I am just lucky this week, I was going to change my Signs and XXX guess to a lower number but I forgot about, that was pure luck besides I could get another 0, next week and you could sweep the field and win because the points are doubled, that is what is going to make this last week so interesting because its going to be hard to predict and with the points doubled give those that have fallen a little back to win or at least get into the top 3.

Truthly I was just fortunate, I didn't think Signs would do that well, nor XXX I thought both would make in the low 13 range but everybody started picking in that range and that is why I went higher, I thought about changing it again but changed my mind, I was really hoping that I would get MBFGW right which would give me 3 and 4 (though Serving Sara really underperformed) and 5 in a row, I was really just hoping to catch up to Yog, your not completely out of it if you can get the 5 movies right and #1, that would be a 100 points so you still have a chance, and there might be another opportunity for you I am thinking about doing one for the Holiday Season, if there is enough interest.

Sorry I didn't play this week. Getting back to work just took everything over. I wanted to guess Mojo +1M for all his picks, but I just didn't have the time. The wife and I did manage to see Serving Sara. It was decent, but the theater was pracitcally empty. It was the 9:40 Saturday night showing and there were maybe a dozen people in the theater. The weird thing is we were all laughing.

You still have a small chance Lebron you could have a big weekend with the double points this weekend, who knows I wouldn't give up completely. Also it looks like the race is really close, 35 points seperate the top 3, I think its going to be really close next weekend and will depend on a lot of factors.

Fear.com? I've heard very little about this one, so I just looked it up on IMDb. The poster looks cool, but the cast/filmmakers are fairly weak at least from a box office perspective. This is from the director of House On Haunted Hill. :x

I doubt this movie will beat Signs for #1. Meditate on this I will.

I think it could make the top 5, Blue Crush really fell hard this past weekend, also what about My Big Fat Greek Wedding? If it goes up another 27% that would give it about 10 million for 4 days, I am not sure if it can do that but it could move up at least a spot to 3 could even move up to #2.
