Rogue Squadron Recruiting

The NR needs more of a military presence on the boards. Therefore, Ladies and Gentlemen, I am now officially reactivating Rogue Squadron on the board.

If you've ever been interested in RPing an X-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, Y-Wing, E-wing, T-Wing, or K-Wing pilot now is the opportunity. You must be prepared to do some starfighter based Rping as well as some non-starfighter based RPing.

Now that The New Republic is in command of most of the galaxy, with the Imperial Break up, it's time for its Starfighter Core to shine.

Long ago, I was a part of Rogue Squadron, but it kinda died. And now seeing it possibly coming back makes me soooo HAPPY! :rollin

I'd love to join in, and even have a request to have the designation Rogue 12 (that was my old designation and it's kinda stuck to me) :)

No need to worry about an X-Wing or astromech as my character already has both. :)

Dwayne...we're still working on the army. Although if you wanted to be a Rogue we could train you. Or you could talk to Tyle about NRSF.

Inabrin we'll have to discuss support. Although the people to talk to there are the current admirals in the NR. I would PM them....Garm Bel Iblis is one I'd talk to.

BTW- big note here. Just because you're a non-Force User does not mean you're excluded from Rogue Squadron. If we have enough interest we'll have more squadrons...but that IF we have more interest than we thought we would. :)

Nobody present here would care less..... wasn't it some in TSE itself that were unhappy with that situation? Which, now considering that a) those who objected are gone and b) those who objected probably needed a good panning in this case, I would be going for it.

That's good. But also let me remind those with ships that Rogue Squadron is a Fighter Squadron of snubfighters.

It would be best to refer to the NR leadership on where the capitol ships would go.

Okay just so everyone knows, I admire Taylor's initiative on this. Everyone knows how happy I am to see the NR become more than some background plot device.

But I got a lot going on IRL. I haven't been online at all lately because my comic just came out and we're working on the next one already. I have accounting, sales, and plans for future convention trips filling all my off-work computer time.

And then there's the new tabletop campaign I've promised to start running. Plus if I ever hear from Game Base 7, I'd like to do something for them.

As a footnote, I'm waiting to hear back from Dark Horse editors before I even think about writing any Star Wars RP/fanfic on an open forum.

I'm sorry to those who were in threads with me, but I just don't have the time to write anyway. When I actually get truly FREE time, I insist that it be as no more taxing than just sitting around, watching a movie or playing a game.

If I ever do get enough time to come back to the boards, I just want to be another player like any other. "Running" a group wore me out last time I tried.

So don't worry, I won't be trying it again. Have fun with it. Honestly, the military and political RP is something I never really did get a chance to do. I hope I still can some day.
