There's a difference between LOTR and the GJO. I fail to see it anymore.

My mom bought LotR the other day because she'd never seen it and knew we had. During the movie, she'd ask us questions when she didn't follow...here's a sample:

Mom:(pointing at Aragorn) Ok, what's he doing?

Zeke: That's Marcus...no, Aragorn. He's Aragorn and he likes this elven chick named Helenias, no that's not her name. Ok, Aragorn likes Arwen. They're talking elvish because Frodo's sick with some kind of evil poisoning.

Mom: (watching the secret council scene) Who is everyone?

Zeke: Dasquian, Hrolthar, Marcus, Kakita, Helenias..dammit all! Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Gandalf, Arwen!

This is becoming something of a problem...I no longer can sit and watch LotR. Why should I watch them run around when I can come here and post with them? It really sucks, b'cuz I like that movie.

AND YES, I had the same problem.

The scene where they were in the Prancing Pony bar, and they look over where Aragorn is sitting in the shadows smoking that pipe, I wispered out "marcus...!!" and my friend who was watching it with me turned and was like

"Uhhh....nevermind."

Glorfindel the Elf Prince, son of Elrond originally greeted the Hobbits and Aragorn, and sent Frodo ahead on his great white horse...

So Frodo was running ahead of the Black Riders ALL ALONE in the book. Once on the other side of the river he almost is overcome by the temptation and the calling of the Riders....

But Glorfindel wasn't too far behind and he summoned the flood. Gandalf did the horses affect.

And in the movie, Sam uses a frying pan on the orcs in Moria. Three times. :)

Close... but Loki was right. Elrond summons the flood, Gandalf added the horse-like waves. :)
