The interesting thing about this one is that it's a dual sabre - and when it comes aaprt, the rear section can be used as a neat melee weapon. Or, keep it together and you have an axe. Or, use it well and slash... the blades make for interesting possibilities in a duel.

Sorry Makako and Dae, witht he GJO server gone bye bye, I cant do a thing. Really, a group of us should bite the bullet and collectively buy web space or find someone with a server we can use long term. If there was enough interest (say $50 USD a year for say 10 -15 people), I can rent a ADSL line, put one of my PC's into server use, Have about 15GB bandwidth per month and because it would be here,i can add some real attractive serives liek a full blown web mail and unrestricted content hosting.

Unfortunantly, decent free option no longer exist :\

Edit ; Could I request other sig makers not to copy the newish Xazor style? I'm srota trying to develop my own styles now and that's the direction I'm going for now. I'd liek to have somethign distinctly my own that is recognisably me. Who knows, in 5 sigs time I might switch and do somethign completely different :)

Oddly enough, after going in the direction of complexity and difficulty, I'm now swinging back in the direction of simplicity but absolute high quality. I work probably at quite different settings to everyone else I think...

To get a good sig (FYI for people looking to get a good one) I need images that are quality to begin with, nice a glossy, with figures nice and easy to remve from backgrounds. Hair can be nasty to work with, so smooth hair is best. Full body view is liked for at least one pic, No face only shots. I cant do dick with those. Best guide is waist up. Somwethign that expresses the character of the person is good too, gives me a theme or ideas to work with. It can also help time wise if you go through this thread and pick out somethign you like, I can do somethig similar or do something unexpected like Wargrave's sig. Avatars are normall thrown in as well these days.

I will not do a sig for a newbie. You must be here for at least two months, although I possibly will bend that rule. Depends on my mood. Rule of thumb is dont bother if you have only 100 posts or less. Signal if your not a n00b and your character has less than 100 posts.

Be patient. I work at my own time.

Active Sigs are done on request to those who aint <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont>ed me off. Pick a style. Current Active Sig is ver 7. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are valid. 3 is text only, 4 is rotating images, 5 is image maps with combinations of 3 and 4, 6 is f******* nasty to set up and I will hate you if you want one of those, ver. seven can be seen in Taylor Millard's sig. Ver 4 is what is typical around here now.

Lastly, there will be hell to pay if you use my work and claim it as your own. I dont mind how my work generally is used (Tho, using the sabres / guns without permission of myself or the intended person is a deadly sin and I will come after you) but it must be credited.

Oh, sorry, one more thing. I dont just do sigs. I do weapons / devices as can be seen in this thread. If you want a weapon / device, that's a definate be patient. And you better be in my good books to get one of those! To get a sabre / decvice/ other weapon a full description must be given. The more detail, the better.


P.S. Images / scripts are hosted at www.thegjo.com, the GJO's own server run by myself, but owned by Master Yoghurt. Any and all images I create can be hosted there, no sweat. All Jedi, no matter where the sig came from can be hosted there.

If I see a request that inspires me, I'll do it first, because that's the way i work. I dont mechanically plug stuff together, I try to get the right look and feel.

Saber - Something of the hand and a half variety, very sleek, easy to use (few clunky metal bits.) Mainly silver, black grip accents in whatever style you choose (swirly, lines, stripes, whatever.) Slight gold accents on the saber, perhaps near the emitter. Blade color is green.

Logo should be something elegant, perhaps inspired by a celtic-type motif, but that's not a hard and fast rule. Think delicate, yet powerful. Really, I'm just excited to see what you can do with this idea. ;D

hmmm. Hey, Mark, think I can squeeze a lightsabre design out of you? :)

If you do it here's the stats:
Handle slightly curved (not as much as Dooku's, but not exactly straight either)
Silver-black blade
At the top of the hilt, a guard in the shade of a dragon with wings outstretched, its head pointed straight out. The blade comes out of the dragon's mouth.
The bottom half rotates like a knob(dual-phase sabre), whcih acts as the activator for the second phase.
No buttons, just an activator plate on the part where my palm would go.

I have done it, but IMO, it looks tragic. It's either PS's 3D tools are not good or I suck at it for now.
