Glamdring is by far the best sword there. It's gorgeous. Sting is also very nice.

Wouldn't mind the blade of the Witchking either to be honest. They all look good.

I wouldn't mind the Balrog's sword or whip for that matter. But best of all would be the mace of Sauron! :D

I was trying to explain to Jenny what a Balrog was in D&D the when we met so this will only apply to her...a Balrog in D&D is a "Balor"...a mystical demon from the ancient world much the same as LOTR..:)..there :)

If i had to choose a sword out of all LOTR it would have to be Dasquians Short Swords.

Balor - Big Bad Fire Elemental also ^-^

Ummm...not to offend anyone but...is this SERIOUSLY the first time you've ever seen these? Cuz I gots two sabers in my room right now that work with electronic blades that are strong enough to fight with...a Vader ANH and Obi TPM...plus I gots me Luke ANH saber as well...not to mention some of the other replicas I have

Sorry don't mean to tease you but wow I didn't know you never saw anything like these. Man you guys need to come over to my house sometime lol

BTW here's another site for you....don't want to give you too much right away I might blow you away :p

http://www.lightechindustries.com/

And that's where I got my blade from....the electronics came with the sabers but they originally came from this guy, Mike. The sabers I got were made in Hong Kong by a VERY talented artist. You can see some of his work on e-bay now. They go for lots more than the original price he was selling them for since he no longer makes these. Welll...then again that's a lie....Lucas recruited the guy and he now is one of the people who makes MR saber replicas ;)

**goes to play with his sabers** :D

I think he meant the weapons from LOTR, which one's he would choose from the movies, etc :)

Well Jenny is right, but to answer your question.

I would choose two shortsword due to there quickness, you get one extra attack to your oponants one, and there lighter than a Bastard or Greatsword.

If you watch a warrior with one sword and a warroir with two sword, if you are skilled with two short swords then you will have the upper hand by far....unfourtunetly only elves or Half-Elves are rearly skilled with two weapons like that...

Always preferred a long sword in D&D myself - not really needed to use with two hands, but still could be (MUch like a RL claymore or a hand and a half swrods, like Narsil and Glamdring), fast and well balanced.

I wonder what Aragorn's stats would be in D&D? Dexterity would be very high, wisdom and intelligence fairly good, strength would be probably only above average, Consitutuion very high and Charisma very high too. Lawful good, pure fighter. Would have quite a few plus rolls as well.

Ooooh and WETA have a really cool Marcus figure too.

Have to remember that D&D began as a game rip version of LOTR, so in effect a D&D LOTR is being true to it's origins. Dont know if you remember, but one of the hardest campains for a level 11- 14 was to defeat a Spider demon, a blatant rip of Shelob. And yes Balrogs and the orders of dragons were LOTR based. That was version 1 of D&D, Advanced D&D started to widen concepts and campains a lot.
