I don't know about anyone else, but before the prequels, I had always envisioned the Clone Wars to be a noble Jedi war, where they defeated an evil army of clone warriors bent on the destruction of the galaxy.
Now, the Clone Wars we see are one-sided, all in favor of Palpatine. It's an awfully big twist from what I always thought they were. We have the Jedi serving in the Clone Wars pretty much sealing their own, and the galaxy's doom.
Not complaining. I like the irony of it.
Just commenting on how some of those things we always thought were a certain way from watching the OT are actually quite different.
(And may be the cause of why some "die hard old school" Star Wars fans are upset with the prequels....)
