Sieken has come to me asking for admittance to TBH, he wanted to know if he had a chance. I told him to go ahead and start a thread in the Tribunal, and that I'd bring it up to everyone else.

So. I'm bringing it up. He wants to join because TSE vanished and his master is here, Vega. So..?

Thoughts, anyone?

He's improved a lot since he first came here, and does have a lot of good ideas, even if sometime he can't get them down how people would like him to. I think his character would fit in here, he's not overly chaotic, and Vega does have some degree of control over his actions. I don't really know what to say :|

I'm pretty bias really, though, when it comes to him anyway, since we are such good friends :\

Literally there are only apprentices running around there most of the time...no leaders anymore. I'd go help, but I just don't have enough time, and I can't justify LD going back IC.

I think in Sieken's case it would be wise to see how his application thread plays out before making a decision.

That being said, would someone other than Vega mind replying to him? I would do it myself, but I'm trying to cut down on getting over-involved in that sort of RP.

I've sent him a few pm's about the way he's ignoring actions and types of attacks that I've very clearly indicated in my posts. No replies yet.

The arguement Sieken is making against it is that Soolin would not have been able to throw so many hits against Sieken without him blocking, as he is - correct me if I'm wrong - of a higher rank than her.

Also not to nit pick, but Soolin was thrown full force into a brick wall by a kick and push combined and just 'recovered', so I would say the hit taking is balanced out.

I replied to Seiken about that in a pm, so I hope I cleared it up with him.

You know, combat on the boards is quite frustrating, and I'm not saying I don't ever make mistakes. What happened with Soolin and the wall threw me off, because there were posts in between mine that I was counting as 'turns'.

I've set things right in that thread now because I didn't really see what was done and I should have. I'm very sorry about that. I can't believe I didn't see it.

I think that I'm going to stick to Story Telling RP's for Soolin from now on. Things will be easier that way, because she's not a GJO Jedi.

And I'm very sorry for taking this thread off track. It's settled now.

I don't think Sieken's a bad RPer at all, but I think he assumes just 'cause he knows Vega, me, LD, etc etc that he's going to get into TBH.

Well...you know the problem I have is that I don't know who Sieken IC is... I've had one RP with him and I didn't really see anything which said yes or no.

I propose this...the 'senior' TBH members should confront Sieken in a thread each. Perhaps as a challenge or something.

As the RPs progress, then TBH will make their decision.

Has he done any RPs to back up his transition from Sith to Dark Jedi? How he pulls those off is an important factor, I think. Unless there's evidence to prove that his mentality has changed, there's no reason why he should change his title.

Judging from how his thread with Sorsha is going, IMO he's still Sith. But then again that's just me and I don't know him IC at all, so I'm Abstaining.

This is exactly what I'm trying to bring about. But if he fails to find the way out of his predicament in his next post, I'm going to have to make a nefative vote against him.

The way this little trap of mine works is that resistance only makes things worse. Yeilding to the fire, letting it consume you will make it recede. Only Seiken's resistance has nearly brought him to the point of no return.

I offered him a small hint the other day, and I'm waiting for his next post. I think he's figured it out, but I didn't offer him any comfort, only to follow his instincts. He's very close, so I hope he doesn't blow it.
