Last night, the demonic statues of Diktat Viscera, Grand Admiral Thrawn and the haunting representation of Emperor Palpatine himself were symbolically upturned and destroyed. Joyous festivities went right through to the early hours of this morning, the song and dance never tiring.

Late last night reports came in of a raid conducted by remnant Imperial forces on the world of Kuat. A New Republic shipyard suffered the loss of almost a score of dreadnaught-class warships, such a travesty should not go unpunished and GNN vows to be a weapon for truth and justice, striking the last, fatal blow to dictatorship for the free people. Our chairman and founder, Mr. Hermes Spearman, received word from a Sergeant Tyle, who happened to be on Kuat at the time of the assault and he has given his word that these petty thieves will be brought to justice. </font></td><td width="264" bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
