Its true, Kia is giving away Lotr DVD's free with test drives.
I dont know the details, It might be confined to Florida only; it could have been mentioned earlier by somebody else but there it is.
To reiterate:
Test drive Kia cars = free Lotr DVD for free (you might possibly have to buy a car first but as I said, I dont know all the details.)

I heard about it at the Smart Shopper's Cheapo Depot. Doesn't sound like that good of a deal to me.

Why???
Whats the deal, are they just giving away the really old first LOTR movie?

nope, new LOTR DVD.
Thing is, those car salesmen can be really adamant that you purchase an automobile from them. "Come on...buy this car, that's all I ask. Do it for me? Please?"

Woop....so they aint just screwing the consumer over for once.
The car salesman is the perfect person on which to practice self confidence; just say no.
C'mon all you have to do is sacrifice your principles and drive a crappy car, that gets you: FREE STUFF!

Maybe if it were the special edition DVD with all the bonus footage. It's just $20, I wouldn't drive to my nearest Kia dealer for $20.

Actually, if you test drive a KIA, you get a certificate which you mail in and get a copy of LOTR 4-6 weeks later. And what happens if the copy that you get through the mail is Pan & Scan?

Kia's and baby fur seals get the same reaction out of me.
I want to hit them both with a baseball bat.

I would...
I would dignify the hell out of a Kia.
I would dignify it until you couldn't recognize it anymore!

If I could drive, I would test drive ANY car to get free stuff ^_^
No matter how crappy the car is.. And if the dealer pleaded with me, I'd just tell him that I was test driving it JUST for the LOTR dvd so maybe he'd shut up.
