Jak Brennagenn

Jak peered into the empty room, checking to see if it was indeed empty, before entering. Well, no one lived here, that was for sure. It would have been just his luck to be caught in already occupied quarters. Jak grinned at the thought. He took a quick look around, his mind already working on what he could do to spruce up the place. The young man hadn't kept any of his personal belongings so he would have to go shopping. His least favorite thing to do. Just to make things seem less empty, Jak took off his jacket and shoes, tossing them on them onto the floor. There, that was better. He walked over to the window and opened it up, climbing onto the sill and letting his legs dangle over the edge. It wasn't too high, but it wasn't on the ground either. He took a deep breath, the air clearnig his head. Everything was happening so quickly. Just this afternoon he had been destined for prison, supposedly guilty of murdering four. And now...well Jak still had a hard time grasping where he was at now. Never in a million years would he have guessed that he, a scrappy inmate, would be training to become a Jedi. A Jedi! It still shocked him. Not only that, he was free. His new Master, Xazor Dawnstrider, had destroyed his records. Jak wasn't sure how he felt about it. No different he supposed. He was still himself. There just wasn't a feeling of being trapped hovering over the day. He sighed and leaned his head back on the wall. The man needed to relax and for once, it came easily to him.
