Eve sighed as she arched her back, her elbows resting on the counter. She looked at the ice melt at the bottom of her glass, the corner of her lips frowning slightly. She was alone and lonely, it was all over.

"Umm ..."

After meeting with Leia, Dalethria wasn't quite ready to leave Arcan just yet. This place held plenty of amusement for the Dark Jedi the past few weeks that it would be a shame to depart it so abruptly.

She found herself wandering into the Bar and Grill, hoping that her mother was around, or perhaps some Padawan she completely baffled into thinking she was Navaria.

No one was here and Dalethria pouted but her head tilted to the side in curiosity to the woman sitting at the bar.

Eve Siren. Heard of her by name, seen her a few scattered time around the Empire when Dalethria was still a member. The girl looked so depressed. Dalethria could feel the negative emotions just oozing off of Eve. Only someone that lost in her thoughts would enjoy watching ice melt.

Taking out a few coins, she tossed them into the air, catching them, before walking over to Eve's chair.

"Give her another and one for me."

Dalethria fanned the coins on the counter and took a seat. What would be her reaction, she wondered.

Eve was obviously surprised. Her broen eyes widened and blinked once as Dalethria took a seat next to her. She tilted her head to the side, not finding anything to say for the moment. Then the barman came back with their two drinks.

"Thanks ... I didn't think I'd see you here, Mistress Dalethria."

Considering Dalethria had no clue what Eve had, she sniffed at her drink.

"Whiskey. Works for me."

She took a sip and leaned on the bar counter.

"You'd be surprise where I end up."

The tone of her voice hinting at something more.

"More surprised that you're here actually and feeling all glum."

Dalethria leaned forward and whispered.

"They like to take advantage of that you know."

Her eyes drifted to the patrons of the bar. Some of them were Jedi and Eve got what Dalethria was getting at.

"Heh. Me being glum doesn't mean I can't kick their ass."

The corner of Eve's lip curved up in a grin.

"Whiskey ... Never really tried that before." She said, as she looked down to her glass.

But she looked back up Dalethria.

"Is there something you want from me ?"

Dalethria laughed heartily, letting that be response enough to Eve's comeback.

"Want?"

She settled back down.

"Was curious what a response I would get from you. Being former comrades and all."

Her lips tightened in thought while she bobbed her head back and forth as if weighing options.

"So far so good I'd say. Haven't called me vile traitor or something stupid along those lines."

Suddenly, her face became more serious.

"And, you looked like you could use another drink."

Eve Siren

"A vile traitor ?"

Eve shook her head, chuckling under her breath as she took a large sip of the whiskey.

"That'd be very hypocrite of me, if I called you a traitor, that is."

She was in the middle of sipping her drink when Dalethria stopped ... eyebrow raising in question.

Slowly the glass was lowered and she licked her lips to remove all traces of the alcohol.

"Hypocrite?"

Eve Siren

"Yes ..."

Eve looked down at her glass for a long moment. It seems that her eyes became empty as she bit on her lower lip, sighing.

"I left too."

Dalethria nodded and left it at that. Eve was always a private person and she would respect that.

Course, isn't it part of most beings nature to be curious?

"You don't plan on being a permanent fixture here do you? I presume you have... some plans?"

She asked and then took a slow sip of her beverage.

Eve chuckled and took another sip of her drink.

"'Course I do. I plan to die in battle."

The wee little fellow did not mean to pry and all but when the two women spoke of battles and dying he couldn't resist the conversation. Sliff quietly climbed up and peered over the partition in the booth behind the two women. He rested on his tummy using his little legs for balance to get a closer ear shot of what they were saying. Of course he had more then a view as he listened intently. Sliff could not help but to think how good the ladies smelt. Like Corian spice, like the kind back home...Then something caught the four and a half foot tall Kindermor's attention. Something shinny and mesmerizing at Eve's side. Sliff had to make sure the object wasn't going to fall off her side so he bent over the back of the booth to get a closer look.

Sliff figured that these two were sister's of course by the way they spoke to one another...Not to mention that they would be happy to know someone was looking after their best interest's and all...People lost thing's every day and Sliff felt as though it was his duty to make sure theses thing's never happened...However, more often then not, the object that Sliff was able to get his paw's on was never returned to it's rightful owner...Such a heavy burden for one so small to carry, looking after the good's of other's could be a wearisome job.

"Ahhheeee..." Sliff yelped as he tumbled head long on the other side were the two women sat, rolling under the table and only coming to a sudden stop when he hit the floor with a thud at their feet. Moment's later the little fellow poked his head up from under the table between the two women, they did not look amused.

"Ah, sorry...I was noticing a pretty smell coming from over here and stuff and when I went to see who it was coming from I slipped. Yeah,...And I fell..." Sliff's big blue eye's smiled at the two reluctant women as a grin stretched from ear to ear on the Kindermor.

Dalethria lifted her glass.

"Ah, to a glorious battle then, Eve. 'Course, to waste such talents as your....."

The rest of her sentence was rudely interrupted by a loud thud from behind. Small small ... thing ... was lying on the ground looking and claiming innocence. It was odd actually. Dalethria could sense truth coming from the being's basic surface thoughts and emotions, even though the act of what he was doing was wrong.

She rubbed at her eyes and laughed down at her drink.

"We have an admire. How ... quaint."

"A pretty smell ?" Eve arched an eyebrow.

She thought for a minute then looked back at the Kindermor. Hearing Dalethria laugh, a soft smile drew on Eve's lips as motioned for the Kindermor to stand up, with her hand.

"It's called cinnamon. The scent, I mean."

Sliff could not believe his good fortune...Two beautiful and striking women, obviously warrior's of course by all the talk of battle and death. But oddly, Sliff wonderer why? Who could be mean or mad at theses ladies that seemed so polite and well mannered? Sliff wasted no time at Eve's invitation. He then climbed up between the two warrior women then turned around and put his little arm's around both there neck's. He quickly glanced back and fourth like a small child in a candy store...

"Hi...My name is Sliff, some people call me Sliff the Sneak...But that's very rude and stuff...Cuz I don't like that!" Sliff exclaimed as a furrowed crease formed between his brow's. As Sliff continued the two women noticed that the little Kindermor was playing with there hair as he spoke.

"Why do you two want to fight and all?" Sliff still could not figure out why two attractive women would have anything to do with something so barbaric. Then it dawned on him as if were a light that popped on in his head all the sudden...A moment of brilliance that Sliff felt should be noted.

"That's it!...You two are twin sister's and you both love to adventure!" Sliff let out a squeal as he brought his hand's out from behind the two women and clapped them in excitement.

"I love adventure...I've been to many place's and stuff...You wouldn't believe the thing's I've seen on my travel's. Big ole city's, monster's...I even met a Jedi knight once. Very pompous fellow I might add." Sliff paused for a brief moment to take a breath.

"You know I'm sure glad I met you two...I was wondering when the next great adventure would come around...And look...Here we are, ready to embark on the biggest one yet!...Oh goodie!" Sliff's body slightly bounced up and down with excitement at the thought of new land's and planet's to explore, treasure hoard's guarded by the most ferocious monster's imaginable and all the wonderful trinket's alone the way that needed looking after. But the best part of all of this to Sliff was, he had the company of two pretty fighting women that didn't even fear death at his side. Not to mention...They smelt good too!...

Eve arched an eyebrow and couldn't help but smile. As if it was embarassing to do so, she put her fingers over her lips and chuckled under her breath. This Sliff creature was funny .... And, twin sisters ?

"The pretty girl there," She pointed to Dalethria. "isn't my twin sister, but we both do love to adventure. Except from now on, I won't be able to go on any adventures anymore."

She looked over to Dalethria.

"But perhaps, this beautiful woman will let you accompany her." She grinned.

Satine was watching all this from a table, curious as to what was happening. Then when Sorsha popped in, the Knight decided to check things out. Getting up and walking over there, Satine nods his head in greeting.

"Hello Dale, Eve." Satine says, bowing a bit to each in turn, then turning to Sorsha.

"Ah, starting trouble again Sorsha?"

... yet she was soon interrupted by the sound of her Sister from behind. Now Dalethria was smiling.

"Sliff. Meet my actual Sister. Sorsha. Give back what you stole if you know what's good for you."

Pivoting around on her bar stool, she sighed at Satine.

"Jedi need to quit assuming."

"Capashen doesn't usually assume. I'm surprised."

The Kindermor swallowed hard as he backed up and sat on Dalethria's lap, throwing his little arm's tightly around her neck as Sorsha leaned in with a menacing glare. Sliff knew that this woman that was known as Sorsha had to be a half sister or a step sister by the way she talked. And if look's could kill, Sliff would have already been fricasseed on the spot right then and there!

Dalethria could feel his small form shutter and tremble as he tried to force out the word's in a whisper in her ear...

"I,..I didn't mean to take the funny looking coin from her...The one with the arrow's on it. I,..I meant to give it back to her, but,...But I didn't get the chance to...It was going to fall out of her pocket anyway..." Sliff looked up at Dalethria, tear's began to well in his big blue eye's as he continued.

"She's just can't be your real sister...She's a mean ole bad ole lady." Sliff retorted as he turned to Sorsha, his brow's furrowed for a moment as he shook a stubby little finger at her.

"You bad ole woman you!...Here's your funny looking coin! It's probably fake any how!...Bad ole mean ole lady you!." Sliff finished in a huff, trying his best to sound tough as he reached deep into one of his many pocket's, then tossed the strange coin to the floor at Sorsha's feet. After sticking out his tongue at the rude woman, the wee little Kindermor then placed his arm's back around Dalethria's neck in a tight hold. At that moment it dawned on Sliff that Sorsha wasn't an Adventurer either...Sliff figured that she didn't have the time to since it was all spent on hassling people smaller then herself. And this woman needed a shower too! Sliff thought to himself.

If and when the two women, Eve and Dalethria were ready to start their great adventure with Kindermor, Sliff would make sure that he returned the funny looking shiny cylinder that almost fell off of Eve's side as well...

"Umm ...."

Eve watched Sliff take that 'shiny cylinder' from her side from the corner of her eyes. She didn't take much attention to it, since it was just a tube containing Tryptophan pills. She didn't need them anymore to survive, since she didn't even want to survive in the first place. She slowly stood up from the table, dusting off her shoulders, then running a hand through her short hair.

"Well, I'm done. Gotta blaze." She said, turning towards the door.

Once Sliff realized that Eve was about to leave, the Kindermor slid off Dalethria's lap in a hurry and made his way towards her. As he passed the Sith Witch Sorsha, the wee little man stuck his tongue at her once more in a mocking manner. Making his way up behind Eve, Sliff tugged on her tunic, trying to get her attention. Sliff, within the five minute's he had spent with Eve, not only did he like her...But she smelt really good too!...Like the candy stick's he borrowed from the local merchant's.

"Ahh,...Miss Eve, can you please take me with you...I don't wanna stay here no more."Sliff's said in a small voice as he looked up into Eve's eye's. The Kindermor's with sad blue pool's tugging at her heart as he held her tunic with one hand.

Sliff looked down at the floor then scuffed his small foot. Then reaching into one of his pocket's, Sliff fetched the shinny cylinder that had fallen from Eve's side...

"Besides, you can't go without this Miss Eve...When I feel hard, it dislodged from your belt and now I wanna give it back to you before you go and take me with you." Sliff let a reluctant smile cross his face as he handed the woman back the wayward item.

"I was keeping it safe until you needed it...Yeah, that's it...You never know when thing's can't get lost like that." Sliff paused for a brief moment then continued.

"Please Miss Eve...I won't be to much trouble...And I can look after your stuff too..." Sliff frowned as he reached for Eve's hand, holding it tightly in his own.

Having the little creature in her lap and hugging her neck almost took Dalethria over the edge. Now he was pestering Eve and that brought a smile to her face while she made sure everything was still on her.

What did catch Dalethria's attention was the look at her Sister's face.

"You all right?"

She asked.

The Kindermor paused at Eve's simple words. But he wasn’t about to take no for an answer. This day wasn’t going as well as he had hoped for...Sliff glanced back at the two women that claimed to be sisters, then back to Eve again. There was no way he was going to stick around with a mean ole lady breathing down his neck...especially over a funny looking coin that was probably worthless.

"But why miss Eve, why! If I stay here, I'll miss out on all the adventures your going to see...I promise I'll stay outta the way and stuff." Sliff shot Eve a sad look as he pooched out his bottom lip, trying to make her feel guilty for not taking him.

"Well, if it's the danger your worried about and your thinking of my safety,...ahh..." Sliff paused as Eve seemed to become increasingly perturbed at his holding her up.

"I've been in lots of terrible places before, and faced many scary dangers too!...Yeah,...You wouldn't believe all the monsters I've seen on my travels...And look..." Sliff threw up his arms then patted himself on the chest.

"See,...I'm just fine and dandy..."Sliff finished his sentence with a wide smile. Suddenly the Kindermor leaned into Eve as his words became low as if not to let any of the other patrons over hear him.

"Now if you wanna talk about really really scary things..." Sliff turned slowly as he put on a mask of fear to drive the point home with Eve, pointing a chubby little finger at Sorsha.

"Now that's scary!...Yup yup!..." Sliff then put his hands on his hips as if he had conquered a demon lordess with his own bare hands. Little did he know how close to home that was! :P

The Kindermor stood there for long moment's watching Eve as her shaply form finally disappeared into the masses of people about the cluttered street. Not long after Eve's departure, the mean ole woman know as Sorsha emerged from the tavern. Sliff narrowed his eye's at her as she shot the Kindermor a hateful scowl. Sliff immediately stuck his tongue out at her then folded his arm's holding her heated glare. Passerby's bumped into Sliff as he stood in the middle of the walkway, blocking the path in front of the establishment with his little form.

"Hey!...Watch it buddy!" Sliff snapped as he was knocked off balance a bit by a big lug of a man. Sliff also noticed that the muscle bound man that had just bumped into him was about to loose an interesting article of sort's that was barely hanging by a thin strap. Sliff was always on the look out for other people and their stuff they were about to loose. With graceful stealth the Kindermor relieved the man of his small pouch as he walked past him unaware. Sliff figured that if the rude man apologized later to him and asked nicely, he just might give the man back his stuff.

Moment's later the other pretty smelling woman walked out on the heel's of her so called half sister. Sliff let a feeble smile cross his face as the woman glanced over to him

"Bye lady..." Sliff waved to Dalethria as the two women walked off...Then they were gone as they too became nameless face's amongst the busy hustle and bustle of life on Arcan IV. Sliff turned slowly with slumped shoulder's and made his way back into the pub, dragging his little feet as he went.

"Will I ever get off this rock...Nobody even care's if I see my home again." The Kindermor pouted as he mumbled to himself.
