View Full Version : Jedi Theme Music
Zeke

In the tradition of Step Up and Identify Yourself comes Jedi Theme Music! Name one song that fits your Jedi's actions/personality, and post it here! It can be in any language, be of any length, genre, and doesn't necessarily have to have words. Posting lyrics is not necessary. I suppose I should lead off.

First of all this idea rocks. My favorite group is Sevendust. The song is Praise. It relates to Kindo in two ways. He's been told many times he would only ever be a simple heir to his father's rule over the planet of Serenno. Secondly, right now he is just a padawan, and alot of times he feels thats all people ever think he will be, but he knows he will rise above that and be a great Knight. Plus the song just kicks butt.

I don't know why but the ending theme for FFX seems to fit Alpha right now...

Old hat, which I'm moving to a different forum.
Please keep internal issues specific to the Jedi in the temple.

Sorry for being new! Jeez, do you people exist to make my life suck or what?

No, we don't hence: or what. Some of us exist to keep things where they belong, lest the whole universe become a huge confused mess.
I even said please =p

If the world wasn't a mess than there would be no use for the Jedi. I also agree with Zeke here on this one. Chase, if you have posted to a thread like this before, your comments are not needed. Us new ones will answer it. I agree with Morgan on keeping things where they need to be though, so us padawans gots to be careful where we put stuff. :)

I meant purely in an out of character sense. This is, of course an out of character topic.
Ki, careful with such things. The line between OOC and IC is usually very clear, and if you blur it, ugly things ensue.

Ok, I would have to say Gabriel Faure's Requiem. Either that or Verdi's Dies Irae.
Classical music is good. :]

Marcus, you stole Syren Lysandor's theme song! :mad :lol
If I had one .. It would be "Stand and Deliver" by Adam and the Ants. :D

Well, Zeke took our theme, so I suppose we'll just post the lyrics. Here's the short form of Angel Blue used for Those Who Hunt Elves opening theme. Its in Japanese, so the english translation follows each verse.
Baby, carry on
Ashiita no kaze fuku goro ni
Waratte yo namaikina mama de ite
Akireru hodo
(Baby, carry on
When the winds of tomorrow howl
Keep on laughing, be the cocky person that you are
No matter what happens)
Gamushara ni iketa mutekina jidai
Totsuzen ni kuzureru yoru mo arukeredo
Kuchibiru natsukashii melody
Koronda kizu ni ase ga shimiru
(Storming through life, during the day you feel invincible
Of course there are those nights whene verything falls apart
You find yourself humming an old melodyThought the pain you feel as sweat stings your wounded knee)
Baby, carry on
Mukai kaze fuku asa mo
Waratte yo tsuki mo itsuka muite kuru
Someday your juouney will come
Kiseki hitotsu kurai okoseru yo
Sono hi made
Don't you surrender! Angel Blue!
(Baby carry on
Even on those mornings when the wind blows in your face
Keep on laughing and even the moon shall one day look upon you
Someday your journey will come
I can at least make one miracle happen
Until that day
Don't you surrender! Angel Blue!)

Oh, I found the best theme song for if a Jedi were to address a Sith. It's "Points of Authority" by Linkin Park. There are so many parts of that song that makeme think of a Jedi fussing out a Sith.
Ange Tot

*squishes cockroach*
Mine would be "In The End"(or whatever) by Linkin Park, I like it, tis depressing, yes, but fits me fine.
Verse Dawnstrider
Aug 13th, 2002, 09:06:28 PM
Verse's would be "Just Push Play" by Areosmith. He loves to have fun. Enough said.
Sejah Haversh
Aug 13th, 2002, 09:12:14 PM
Hmm, well, I think I'll pick "One Night in Bangkok" by Murrayhead for Sejah. I love that it's alll about a chess game, and few people get that.
It feels like someone seeing somethign new, and then learning that it isn't what it seemed. Sort of like Sejah felt when he joined the GJO.
