IC -

Zasz hit the button and the ship opened up and he smelled the stank air of the acid burnt planet. The ramp drew outwards and hit the ground and Zasz moved out of the ship first, in his wake followed Cyriam on the left, and Kineas on the right. He moved towards the gates and pushed them open, moving the clones into the castle. They all looked around the surroundings, still shocked at it.

The doors closed behind the trio and he looked around as he closed his eyes, sending out a message to all in Bast Castle. He needed them here, they all had to see what he had brought with him. His message said...

"Brothers and Sisters of The Hand, I request your presence. For I have something to show you all."

He looked back to his green counterpart and nodded to him with a grin. He did the same to Cyriam, looking at them, he saw himself, no matter the physical differences they had, or the mental ones. He spoke to both of them..

"Be prepared for everything."

He nodded to Zasz and moved to stand exactly to his right side, then averted his attention to the dark surroundings. The low lighting in every pathway, the shadows that stood out on the walls made him want to look around more. He looked to Cyriam to see him also doing the same, but more than that, he just seemed to be thinking. Kineas was doing the same, until he felt something.

Not something, someone that he knew extremely well was here. It had to be her, she had to be somewhere in the Castle. She would no doubt show herself. He calmed himself and relaxed as he waited with Zasz and Cyriam for others to appear.

Cyriam stepped up to Zasz's right side, somewhat mimicking Kineas. He looked around and then thought, picking up on multiple force signatures. All very strong, one more familiar than the others. But still, all that were here, are warriors. Very strong warriors. He grinned somewhat evilly at that thought, and then stopped. He moved his gaze to Zasz and to Kineas, both were awaiting something huge.

Cyriam had no doubt in his mind, if everyone in the massive castle came, it would be something huge. But still, it would be interesting to see what panned out from it. Who he would meet, what they would do upon seeing himself and Kineas, clones of Zasz. All things that would no doubt, be answered in a few moments...

Clones, just what the galaxies needed. He wasn't going to be too much of a hypocrite and say that he hated them - for he implemented cloning techniques in creating his guards for his home, and also of course in creating his twin sister - however he really was irked by clones of other people. Of course it was perfectly alright for them to be around when it suited him and when he was benefitting from their presence, but otherwise they just lead to all sorts of mixups.

None the less, he watched them. They did not appear to be identical on first glance, so some alteration had gone into them - a strange kind, though, to repigment their eyes, hair and skin tone. Vega smirked. He couldn't say that he really knew the one who'd done it, but he must have at least had a small amount of skill to pull off creating the two drones.

Undoubtably, something played on Zasz's mind, something important. He was waiting the arrival of one member in particular, though Vega knew not which one. All had been welcomed to greet the trio, however, so he thought it only prudent that he make some sort of show of achknowledgement. Thus, he stood a little further within the castle walls, sitting, staring down the hallway at the group.

Dalethria Mal Pannis

Deep within the bowels of Bast Castle, a figure lay motionless on the ground, eyes closed and taping a foot against the cold stone wall. This area was more or less Dalethria's domain when it came to her private meditation and when she wished to be alone, listening to the countless lost souls that begged for her company.

Then the voices forced her eyes to open as they warned of a Brother that had come home to Bast before she even heard the voice in her mind.

Zasz.

Her lips curled into a grin. She knew that her former lover was a member of the Hand but did not have the pleasure of seeing him again. He went off on some quest, or something. The details were sketchy since no one really knew what Zasz was doing.

She pulled herself up and hopped to her feet, dusting her leather off from all the sediment she was lounging in.

What kind of reunion would this be? She hadn't seen Zasz in years and now they would be Brother and Sister of the Black Hand. Oh how fate had a sense of humor. Did he still have feelings for her? Held malice still in his heart? Or ... did he not care?

Those questions would be answered as Dalethria made up way up the stairs to the front of the castle, lazily running her fingers up the side of the wall. A sign of respect and love for Bast.

As soon as she reached the top of the stairs, the sight that she beheld was ... interesting to say the least. And down right creepy. She leaned on the side of the wall, arms crossed with a raised brow and counted.

Green Zasz. Red Zasz. Blue Zasz.

Clones.

She licked the front of her teeth and smiled, shaking her head, remembering the first time her clones were made.

This was sure going to be an interesting story to hear.

Aug 6th, 2002, 08:19:46 PM
He looked to the man in the shadows, narrowing his green eyelids, then looked up the stairs to see another person. He looked once, thought it was someone else, but looked closer. It was Dalethria! His heart skipped a beat, but he took another glimpse at her. The others had seen her and showed no emotion towards her, but he could feel how they felt inside. He knew how they both felt, regardless if they were hiding it...

He moved forward from the line of the other two that they had seemed to make and opened his mouth to speak, and he succeeded in calling her name..."Dalethr..." He was cut off by Zasz's hand, keeping him where he was, and silencing him. He immediately heard Zasz's voice, which made him look to him, and then to Dale. He then back stepped to where he was previously.

His dark green pupils looked over her, searching her face for something that he thought might still be there. She was pale, her facial features had changed a small amount, but it was her. He looked over her, and saw that she still wore the same attire, and still had the same weapons. It seemed as if nothing had changed since weeks ago. But weeks ago for him, was years ago for her.....

Lilaena De'Ville
Aug 7th, 2002, 12:04:40 AM
De'Ville stepped up to Dalethria from behind. "An interesting trio, that." Lilaena noted the feelings and the slight confusion the former Sith was letting to the surface. Interesting.

She pushed around her and walked down the stairs. "And I thought just one of you was trouble enough, Grimm."

Cyriam Grimm
Aug 7th, 2002, 01:04:18 PM
Cyriam looked upwards at Dalethria, then to the woman who was walking down the steps, apparently speaking to Zasz, for he knew not who she was. His dark indigo pupils moved up to look at the woman's own. She was one of those in authority, he assumed. He stood his ground, looking her over and trying to reach out with his mind to pick up on other things about her.

He let his hand rest on his coat, below it was the lightsaber he had recently constructed. He didn't want anything bad to happen to him, or the other two. He looked towards Kineas, who's eyes were still on Dalethria. Cyriam thought it foolish to openly show emotions for someone, especially love. He turned his gaze back to the woman, ready for anything, including a battle.

Zasz Grimm
Aug 7th, 2002, 01:14:34 PM
"I guess you could say that. But now you can add two more."

He grinned as he looked upwards to De'Ville. He wondered what she thought about the other two. He stood back to look at Cyriam and Kineas. Kineas, of course, was looking at Dalethria. He had to quiet him earlier and remind him of something. And Cyriam, he was looking directly at De'Ville, and other things. He looked down and saw his hand on his coat, below was his lightsaber. Zasz narrowed his eyes at it, he does the same exact things when unsure of things..

It was odd. He looked back towards De'ville and waited for her to speak again, or others to arrive.

Dalethria Mal Pannis
Aug 7th, 2002, 03:17:26 PM
Her left eyebrow arced as she watched the green Zasz stepped forward, and then be scolded by the real Zasz. It was actually kind of funny.

Interesting was the right word all right. De'Ville was right but it was unnerving in watching that same clone looking at her.

She could have sworn he was looking at her like a long lost puppy, especially by how he had started to say her name.

Kar'h'tzen Shaed
Aug 7th, 2002, 04:59:22 PM
Shaed was lounging against the wall where De'Ville - and himself, though no doubt few had noticed that - had entered. He was in the shadow cast by the edge of that doorway, and was quite content to stay there for the time being.

Clones did not interest him in the slightest, normally. The only thing good about them was that if you broke one's mind, you broke all the minds of that particular style of clone. These ones... these were heavily customized, or perhaps accidental mistakes. Their minds were quite different for clones, so much so that there wasn't even the customary buzzing type feeling in his head, the one that clones usually generated when close together.

He had nothing to say, though, and so he didn't.

Milivikal k'Vik
Aug 7th, 2002, 05:12:37 PM
k'Vik paused at the top of the steps.
"Zasz, I didn't know you had..." Mili did not finish her sentence, for she knew th original ending was incorrect.

With the exception of coloration (a bold one on the green...whatever it was), they were identical. Physically.

Green was oogling over Dalethria beyond a first meeting. Not that it didn't make sense for one to drool over Dale. She was indeed pleasing to the eye.

Blue was tense, and on guard. His hand never strayed far from a lightsaber. Outworld cold, inwardly, volcanic. Whe he popped it would be a mess.

Zasz... well, Zasz was Zasz, and he was far harder to quantify than the... duplicates.

"Hmmmmm."

Lilaena De'Ville
Aug 7th, 2002, 11:49:19 PM
She knew her apprentice was somewhere behind her, but didn't do anything to draw him into the light as she continued down the staircase. "Do you have a name?" She addressed the blue one, unsure of how to desiginate him.

Cyriam Grimm
Aug 8th, 2002, 12:18:46 AM
"Yes I do, Cyriam."

He looked at the woman as she stood not that far away now, but his hand was still cautiously hovering over his coat. He looked up and saw other people that he didn't know. A woman. Well, he didn't know anyone from the hand, save Zasz and Dalethria.

"I assume you have one also?"

Gabran Darkysa
Aug 8th, 2002, 02:01:22 AM
In the back of room near the staircase stood apprentice Gabran Darkysa. His brow was creased with uncertainty as he had joined the gathering when he felt a subtle disturbance in the Force followed by voices greeting one another. Instantly he discovered the Hand member named Zasz was accompanied by identical siblings but after a few moments of observation he learned that they were clones.

Clones were a rarity these days though he knew of several instances in which cloning was utilized to immortalize certain figures of authority. It did not come cheap and not without it's risks either.

He pondered whether or not he should step forward and engage in the proper social formality of introducing himself. His hand drew up in a fist. Gabran knew his presence did not go unnoticed by the masters despite their preoccupied manner.

Jibrielle Abunai
Aug 8th, 2002, 10:38:51 PM
Clambering down the great stairs of the Bast castle, she followed both Dalethria and Lilaena from a distance. Zasz has requested all of the Black Hand's members, but ... why?

Slowly and cautiously, she continued to walk towards the man, who had two others with him. Canting her head to the side, Jibrielle realized that one was all green, including the pigment of his skin. This struck her odd, but then again, the scars on her face weren't normal, either.

As she drew closer, Hob's apprentice realized that something wasn't right. The other two looked like just like Zasz. Even though she had only seen the man once, she was more interested in the other two.

"What ... are they?" She breathed out.

Lilaena De'Ville
Aug 9th, 2002, 01:17:47 AM
"I am known as De'Ville." She did not offer him a hand of welcome, or even move at all, but just stood there.

Abruptly she turned towards Zasz. "What are your plans for your 'brothers?'"

Zasz Grimm
Aug 9th, 2002, 01:24:53 PM
"They're clones."

He said as he looked to Jibrielle, then he looked back to Cyriam who still seemed to be rather cautious. He saw that everyone seemed to be gathering around the clones. De'Ville had referred to the three as brothers, maybe that was best to say about them from now on, since already their bond was strong. He inhaled as he started to tell her what he had planned for them.

"I had them initially made for something long ago, revenge. I have exacted most of it, and dealt with my own issues. I thought that they could be of some use to the Black Hand, and learn in the ways of the Dark Arts. Perhaps grow into themselves, since they are different from my own self in many ways, but similar also."

Zasz watched De'Ville and the others as he told her, his eyes moved back to the clones. Kineas was still looking at Dalethria somewhat, but he was also seeing the other people, and trying to stop staring, but wasn't succeeding. Cyriam had seemed to have been calming down some. His hand had gone limp beside him, but able to reach his lightsaber if needed.

Slayn Cloak
Aug 9th, 2002, 03:36:53 PM
There was a gathering of sorts being held near the gates that Slayn had recently shed blood bye. A veil of shadow had always collected on the right side of the main corridor this time of day. Slayn slowly emerged from there, those watching closely would notice the shadow seeming alive, tangible and perhaps even cognate. It clung to the young Cloak as he passed through it, gripping his clothing and pulling, gently tugging at him. It was as if it had been trying to drape itself over Slayn, hide him from some unseen sensor. Once he was out of the womb of darkness, what was at times his greatest ally; Slayn moved toward Lilaena, whom he had begone to feel comfortable with. The kind of comfort only a parent could provide, it was strange indeed, this feeling. Slayn wouldn't reject it for he had never felt something like this, but wouldn't drive solemnly for it. He looked over at Zasz, an apprentice of his father, one whom Slayn himself delivered a message to once before. He had other people with him, they were identical in fact, they were his clones. This brought an uneasy reckoning upon Slayn, he himself was created with the basics of cloning, just on a larger scale, but were these two really that different?

imported_Taja Loraan
Aug 11th, 2002, 11:48:35 AM
Taja kissed her teeth, arms crossed over chest. Clones. She already had enough of them in her head to pay this little scenario any mind ... well, perhaps not in the traditional sense, but there was no denying their existence.

Zasz had described his 'brothers' as being much like himself, though independent in mentality. This much was clear from the manner in which the green one stared at her Master. Was that ... longing ... she felt in him??

Leaning against a pillar by the stairs, Taja knocked her head against the stone. Her face contorted into a sneer as she watched the Dark Jedi make his request. She never could quite figure out why anybody would want to create copies of themselves: having one mind was more responsibility than she could handle, but three bodies?

Sighing softly to herself, she awaited her sister's response.

Evil Hobgoblin
Aug 11th, 2002, 09:47:09 PM
Tap. Step. Tap. Step. Tap. Step.

The clack of his cane on the floor announced Hob's presence before it arrived. When he'd exited the hallway's shadows and stood in the middle of the grand stairway, he paused.

Not that he was surprised. Hob was simply considering a lesson.

"Jibrielle, my dear, here is something you should pay close attention to," he said. beckoning her over. Then he turned to some of the others. "And you, Vega, and you as well, Shaed, for you are still an apprentice and need instruction."

"Have any of you ever considered the possibility of a single destiny diverging into three?" he went on. "What could cause such an occurrence, do you think?"

Dalethria Mal Pannis
Aug 12th, 2002, 03:59:12 PM
Kineas was going to be a problem ...perhaps.

Dalethria glanced over at Taja, her Apprentice, instantly sensing that she also knew what the green clone was feeling. Probably meant everyone else in the entire room did as well.

She had thought Zasz had made peace with his feelings for her.... Now Dalethria knew that to not be true. He hid them deeply, much like Cyriam was attempting to do ... miserably. His facade was cloaked by caution.

Hobgoblin's words struck a cord with her. Clones .. diverging ... destinies. Dalethria knew all too well how differently lives could turn, even for clones.

Daalethria, the psychotic Sith clone. Killed by the neutral clone, Daleethria. Never had a chance at all. Death was her destiny.

Daleethria, the quiet and introspective mute clone. Killed by her Sister, Sorsha. The lover of Sanis Prent. Now the spiritual guardian of Navaria and herself. Fate had a sense of humor.

Dalethrria, the Jedi clone. Was willing to release her spirit so Navaria could live, denying the death that Sith Kat promised. Now ... as Dalethria had learned, was with Sanis and becoming quite the powerful Jedi Knight.

There were still two destinies waiting to be played out but Dalethria was still uncertain what would become of her and her maker ... Navaria.

Jibrielle Abunai
Aug 12th, 2002, 07:30:21 PM
Clones. The word rang unfamiliar in the apprentice's head as she stared, a confused look sketched across her scarred face. That's when Hobgoblin appeared from nowhere. Turning around, she strode over to him until by his side, watching him closely.

Jibrielle remained silent as her Sire began to speak wisely. She didn't know the answer to his question, but surely someone else did ...

Kar'h'tzen Shaed
Aug 15th, 2002, 04:47:23 PM
Well, so Hob had noticed him. De'Ville always knew if he was near, of course.

Shaed walked out of the shadows like a silent wraith, and came to a stop by the short being.

This... divergence of destinies, from a single one to three. It was an intriguing subject, not that Kar'h'tzen had ever pondered it before. To change destinies by artificially creating more... of course, such a thing would be foolhardy if the original destiny needed no such altering. But who knew the end of the road of fate until they got there?

Zasz Grimm
Aug 18th, 2002, 05:35:43 PM
He looked to Hobgoblin as he was talking to the apprentices. It was interesting, indeed. But made the clones for retribution. Now they could still be used for it, and would no doubt help Zasz later on, but they needed training, no matter what they did. He watched Cyriam and Kineas as he looked to all of the members, speaking...

"I would like to request that Cyriam, and Kineas be taught the way of a Dark Jedi. I know they are both eager, but they have some ways to go. "

He looked to the two's reaction at what he just said, they merely watched on, apparently keeping their thoughts to themselves for right now.

He looked to Dalethria and immediately knew that she had figured Kineas out. He looked towards Hobgoblin, then to De'Ville, Mili, Taja and the others, awaiting their answer.

Evil Hobgoblin
Aug 18th, 2002, 06:11:34 PM
"Teaching?" Hob's eyes widened. "Teaching, say you? Hm. Hmmm."

Hob's eyes narrowed, and he ambled over to where the two clones stood. He circled Cyriam, poking the clone's stomach and tapping its' head, as though seeking to determine something about him. He then repeated the process with Kineas, whapping him in the shins and making a few other pokes and prods with the cane before eventually addressing Zasz again.

"My question to you, Zasz Grimm," Hob began. "Is what would they be taught to do? You had ideas for their purpose when you created them, and different ones when you have brought them here. Do you even have an idea for them? Or are you suggesting that we simply provide them with basic training and turn them loose upon the galaxy?"

Zasz Grimm
Aug 18th, 2002, 07:10:45 PM
"No...I don't wish them to be given basic training and them thrown on their way. I would like for them to be taught as I was taught. Thoroughly trained. They, as I once did, want training. "

He looked to Hob as he looked at Kineas and Cyriam, hitting with his Cane, somewhat testing them. They both reacted in their own way, mostly silence, Cyriam showed anger. He looked and then spoke again.

"As to what they would be taught to do? That would be up to whomever taught them. Kineas and Cyriam are their own person, regardless if I did have a part in bringing them into this world"

Dalethria Mal Pannis
Aug 18th, 2002, 07:38:56 PM
"And do they have anything to say besides 'Dalethr...' or their names?"

She was bad and she knew it but Dalethria did have a point. Neither of the clones had said much of anything, save two sentences from Cyriam, and their lives were being talked about in the open as if they didn't exist.

"Unless Zasz does all the speaking for the two of them."

With the last sentence, Dalethria grinned in wonder how Zasz would react to that, eventhough no malice was intended.

Kineas Grimm
Aug 18th, 2002, 08:49:28 PM
Kineas looked down to the dwarf that was before him, and that had hit him with his cane. He narrowed his eyes at him before letting go of what he had done to hear Dalethria's voice. Zasz had been speaking to everyone, talking about Cyriam and He, which they both knew he would. He spoke up, assisting Zasz.

"On the contrary, Dalethria. We can both speak for ourselves. We both knew that Zasz would say this. I myself do want to learn and train more."

He looked at her with eyes that betrayed even himself. He longed for her, but buried his emotion for the time being, knowing that everyone else in the room could see his reaction towards her, how he felt, and so on.

Milivikal k'Vik
Aug 18th, 2002, 08:59:05 PM
Mili grinned at Dale's dry comentary. She strode up blue, who tensed further.

"Down boy. If I wanted you dead you would be. Besides, I think you'll be more fun alive." Milivikal mused, her voice more sultry than strawberrys and chocolate.

Cyriam Grimm
Aug 18th, 2002, 09:53:01 PM
Cyriam looked to Kineas who was correct, then to the woman who was approaching him. Her pale skin seemed to glow as she got closer. Cyriam was already tense to everything that was going on, but listened to her, his grip on his lightsaber hilt lessened through the cloak and he dropped his hand to his side. Her soft voice drew him closer to her as he looked down to her.

She stood about 5'7, and Cyriam was 6' tall. So he had some height on her, but not much. She was right, he would have been dead if she had wanted him to be, but the way she said she wanted him alive, and how her hair confronted her pale blue green eyes made him speak...

"Your thoughts will undoubtedly be correct. Your name, that is if you have one?"

Slayn Cloak
Aug 19th, 2002, 04:16:05 PM
Slayn stepped closer to Lilaena, he felt somewhat out of place her. Not only was this of no concern to him, but perhaps, he hadn't earned a say in the matter yet. He watched and glanced over to Taja, whom he fairly aquatinted with. Then dalethiria once more entered his line of sight, only the person that Slayn saw was Naviria...

Dalethria Mal Pannis
Aug 19th, 2002, 09:24:52 PM
It was cute, in an odd and demented sort of way, watching Cyriam and k'Vik squaring off. Dalethria wondered if blue boy understood what the Dark Jedi had in mind when he would be more fun.

An amused smile spread along her face that finally caused her to descend the stairs and into the main room proper.

"Well, isn't that special. You both want to train. As Dark Jedi."

Cyriam had not spoken his agreement but for some odd reason, Dalethria just knew he echoed his green brother's sentiments.

Continuing further into the hall, her strides had ended when Dalethria stood front to Kineas. He looked like a Twi'lek gone wrong.

Being this close to Kineas, she could sense the affect it was having on him. It caused the smile to turn into a grin. Making Kineas squirm was so much fun.

"So, what are you going to do with all the power you will gain from the wisdom of Bast Keep?"

Milivikal k'Vik
Aug 20th, 2002, 09:21:48 AM
"Milivikal k'Vik." she said in silken sheets and candle light. Mili laughed, almost giggled, at the though of her not having a name.

"Come. A little fun is just around the corner." She held out her hand to the blue eyed clone.

Cyriam Grimm
Aug 20th, 2002, 03:37:13 PM
He took her hand in his as it was outstretched. The softness of her skin, almost felt like silk. He started to move forward with her, curious as to what she meant around the corner, but had a slight idea. He grinned lightly as she giggled outloud. He straightened his face as he looked at her...

"Oh my, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Cyriam Grimm."

It was kind of odd saying Cyriam, though he knew he wasn't Zasz, he still felt like saying it. Though his cloning process prevented him from doing so, and it did burn what his real name was. He looked to Mili, still curious.

Kineas Grimm
Aug 20th, 2002, 04:07:26 PM
She was having an effect on him. He looked into her eyes with his forest green one's. He stood tall and then he looked away from her eyes, to the floor to the left of him, but then brought them back up to look at her...

"Use it. Use it to further myself in the Darkside. Use it as an advancement to The Black Hand."

He brought his hands to cross each other on the front of his trenchcoat. He looked at Dalethria, his thoughts lying upon delicate and sensitive issues of the past. He stared hard into her face, trying to find something of the old that he knew. But he saw a new person, a new Dalethria. The old was buried deep, down in the dark.

His green hair moved downwards into his eyes as he adjust to the side as he looked at Dalethria. What would she say next? For that matter, what would everyone else say?

Dalethria Mal Pannis
Aug 21st, 2002, 06:58:03 PM
His reactions were ... cute.

"Further yourself and further the Hand."

She crossed her arms and rested most of her weight on her right leg.

"That's not really descriptive. You can do better then that."

A wicked grin crossed her face as Dalethria leaned in closer. His thoughts were betraying him; focusing on the past and trying to figure out who she was now.

"I so know you can do better."

What exactly that sentence meant probably was going to eat away at Kineas and Dalethria was going to love every minute of it.

Milivikal k'Vik
Aug 21st, 2002, 09:12:39 PM
She waited until they were well away from the others, into the halls of Bast. Milivikal grinned in a most naughty way as she gently pushed Cyriam into the wall.

"I already knew your name."

"Well..." he never finished. Mili pulled his head down to hers, and bit-kissed him on his lower lip. They stood together for a half minute before she abruptly seperated and grinned wickedly.

The hellmaid grabbed a fistfull of Cyriam's shirt and pointed to a now open door at the end of the hall.

"This way."

Aug 22nd, 2002, 03:11:39 PM
She felt Slayn’s gaze upon her, and his confused thoughts regarding her Master. With an amused smile, both at Milivikal’s handling of the blue one and the case of mistaken identity, she touched his mind.

Odd resemblance, isn’t it?

Taja had never actually encountered Navaria, and was aware of her existence only from her knowledge of the the Dark Mistress. Besides, a clone could only look so different from its maker, but personal characteristics ...

My advice is you don’t ask her too many questions about that. If her ‘sister’ was a sweetheart, you’ll find my Master’s social skills are of an entirely different caliber.

As she spoke the last part of the sentence, her eyes fixed on Dalethria and the one who still hadn’t mentioned his name. Taja’s smile crooked. She had no place in this meeting, but the drama unfolding in the meantime was just too much fun to watch.

Slayn Cloak

Slayn looked over at Taja, his gaze was immediately followed by his words erupting into her mind. As he held the voices in Taja's head back, surprising them all but her's- his words acted as a mantra...

" That's of no consequence to you, now be still."

Slayn knew how she would take this, it would be as a favor to Taja- she would be capable of clear though and mind, though only for some odd moments; She had just been granted peace. Slayn stepped closer to Lileana, he was now practically on top of her, his chest gently pressed into her back, as Slayn looked over her shoulder- He felt safe in this veil, in the shadow of the one who calmed him.

Aug 26th, 2002, 04:18:45 AM
Slayn gently reprimanded her, after which the incessant tumult in the back of her mind died down, then stopped completely. Not just the voices … Everything had stopped.

Taja’s face contorted into a grimace, as though she had been struck squarely in the chest. She looked up at each member present with frenzied eyes, similar to an animal caught in some unnatural, intense light, but was met with ignorance. Was she deaf??

No … she could still make out her own quivering breaths, and the hushed murmuring between the assembled Dark Jedi. But it was quiet, too quiet … so still it hurt. She then became aware of another acute pain, this one physical. Cold. Without the shadows to aid her, Taja was entirely vulnerable to the element from whence she otherwise gathered her strength.

But what worried her most was the silence. Though the voices were maddening in their own right, in another sense they also provided company. Now that they were gone … Never had she felt this abandoned, this … alone. She didn’t want peace. She didn’t want the quiet. She wasn’t ready. Not now. Not just yet …

Her whole body trembling uncontrollably, Taja screamed.

He looked down to Mili with a most dazed grin from her kiss. He bit her lip as she backed away but then followed her into the direction to where he was almost half-shoved to. An open door. He walked with her but managed to place a hand around the side of her stomach as he was nearing the door's entrance.

He stepped into the room and turned around to look at Mili as he started to near her, she was closing the door right when he got to her and he growled lightly as he began to kiss her....

He closed his eyes for a mere second as he inhaled air into his lungs. But he didn't only inhale the air, but her scent. He opened his eyes as he looked at her, staying silent for a few seconds until she spoke once more.

"I so know you can do better."

....He looked into her eyes with his green pupils, blinking for a few seconds. It was torture, and quite unfair her being right there. He tried to collect himself as he began to speak...

"Your right, I can. "

....

"I have the potential to be just as, or even more powerful than Zasz. As does Cyriam. We both could. But our potential needs to be crafted; molded into something better. Something that Zasz received from Jeseth Cloak. Training."

Kineas looked to Zasz to see him watching in almost full agreement, then he looked to Cyriam. But wait, he wasn't there. He was with that other woman, Milivikal, the one who confronted him. He looked forward to Dalethria, who was right in his face. But his thoughts were betraying him once again as he still fought to keep composure.

The back and forth between her and Kineas was very enjoyable. Perhaps a little too enjoyable then it should be. It ended quickly unfortunately for the green clone. Dalethria's playfulness disappeared as concern for Taja lined her face.

She raced over to her Apprentice's side, holding onto both of her arms to steady the girl.

"Taja? What's wrong?!"

He seemed to snap to as Dalethria went to Taja to help her. He didn't even really hear her scream, but his attention was brought to her. He watched Dale go to the woman as he took a step forward, but then stopped himself. The girl and Dale shared some bond, no doubt an Apprentice / Master relationship.

He began to step forward again to the girl, but once more stopped himself....

Mili finished closing the door with a Force push.

"Mmmmmmmm." She nearly purred, kiss-biting him briefly. The siren jumped up, and wrapped her legs around Cyriam's waist.

OOC: It quickly departs from PG 13 here. I'm sure you all have healthy imaginations.

The transparent window shielding her eyes disappeared. It was not the first time Dalethria saw past that glassy stare so typical of her Apprentice, but never had she seen the look of fear beneath the brille. Taja was sincerely scared.

"They’re gone," she finally choked.

Taja was still shaking considerably and Dalethria blinked.

"They're gone?"

Her eyes narrowed suspiciously at her Apprentice but more out of concern for Taja's safety.

"What do you mean they're gone?"

Then the question was answered for her by the wails of angered spirits, catching even Dalethria off-guard. She winced visibly but regained her control from the disharmonious squabbling that the voices were pounding into her head.

Once clarity had been reached, the insight gained had the Dark Jedi looking at Taja in a new light and caused her worry to grow.

In an effort to calm her fearful child, she brought Taja into her arms.

"How?"

She asked quietly. Her tone suggested to Taja that her Master was able to figure out what had happened.

Taja tightly gripped her Master’s arms and pressed her cheek against Dalethria’s shoulder. The fear had mostly disappeared from her eyes, only to be replaced with oblivion as the full realization dawned on her.

"I don’t know ..." she whispered, her voice still shuddering.

This much was true. Usually, the ghosts were largely responsible for tracing any intruders probing around inside her head. Now that she was deaf to their calls ... she was also incapable of doing much else with her mind.

Slayn stood firmly behind Lileana, listening to everything, and paying close attention to Loran. He had intended to help her, yet she held fear to the alternative...

She pet Taja's hair in comfort but still very angry at what happened. Her eyes shot up to look at De'Ville and Slayn, hiding behind her Sister's back.

"Do either of you know what happened?"

If this didn't gleen anything constructive, her fellow comrades of Bast would give her the answer.

The spirits should hope that it would not come to that.
