View Full Version : The Future of Three

Zasz had been in his quarters at Bast Castle, thinking on many things, pondering power, the universe, and The Darkside. He was meditating until he heard a beep on his desk. He sat up and walked to the old desk and sat down at a chair, immediately shocked at what he was seeing. It was a message from Fyin Tebbid, a man he hired long ago to begin cloning of himself. Zasz had totally forgotten about his other plans, he scrapped them and had forgotten to tell the doctor on Khomm. He looked at the message once more.

Both clones are completed. Basic Skills, and the modified skills and memory that you wanted are atained, and completed. Retrieve them ASAP.

End Message.

He turned off the computer and looked around. He stood up and moved towards his trenchcoat and put it on, he tucked the buttons in and then looked around. He left the room and left the gates of Bast, boarding his personal craft he quickly burned into the atmosphere. Maybe he should have just broken off contact with the Khommite cloner. But the clones, would he need them now?

He punched in the coordinates for Khomm and sat back in the chair as the Hyperdrive came online and engaged. The clones would be valuable either way, though he planned to use them on an attack against his past enemies. He could still use them for that, and maybe more. He could use both of them for The Hand, and increasing the numbers of it. They were like him in every way, at least, that is how he thought of it now. They would be an asset to anyone who got a hold of them. And he was interested to see how they acted.

Later, over the orbit of Khomm

Zasz looked out into the view screen to see a beaten planet. It was in all seriousness, destroyed, except for things here and there. Admiral Daala's attack did it's damage long ago, but there were still some facilities around. Zasz's ship broke through the atmosphere and he landed not that far from where Fyin Tibbid was, and his clones.

He left the Ship as the ramp was lowering, he was kind of anxious to see his new counterparts. He looked around the desolate, torn planet and saw all the technology scattered. Some scavenged for remaining facilities. He moved forth and saw the Doctor. He was rather young for his age, but he looked rugged. He wasn't one of the plain and boring clones, or he might have been, but was changed with the attack.

Fyin: "Sir, if you will just come with me, I shall take you to them"

Zasz didn't say a word to the man, just followed the man into what seemed to be a building. He had met the man before, but it was in a small, populated area. He looked at the shards of steel pushing outwards and moved around it, eventually coming to a door and the cloner pushed it inwards. Zasz stepped in and then looked to the 2 tubes against a wall. Apparently he hadn't let them out yet, but he began to talk immediately as Zasz saw the green one...

Fyin: "I changed their hair and eye color as you said, but when we came to the green one, something happened to his skin. As we were applying the color to his genes, something must have gone wrong, and it changed it green."

He arched his brow and then moved closer to the tube, he looked at his green skin, and his hair. He had already been named, per request years ago..."That's fine, which one is this, Cyriam or Kineas?..."

Fyin: "The green one is Kineas, the other is Cyriam. I suspect you want me to wake them up and let them out now?"

Zasz stepped back from the tube and then moved to the other one. His dark blue hair seemed to glow beneath the glass tube and he put his hand on the glass for a second before stepping backwards. He turned to the cloner and nodded his head downwards.

It had taken him a couple years to make the clones to where they are now. Recently with the technology he found, he increased them to their physical size. He looked to the man who had paid him so long ago. He moved to a computer and began to type on it, the cryo shields lifted and he typed some more commands into the computer and each clone slowly started to wake.

He moved towards the one that was Kineas, the green one. The side effect did look rather well on him. He looked to Cyriam and smiled, his work was exceptionally well. Each one had their eyes open, staring at himself, and Zasz.

He began to step back and away from Zasz, the man seemed to be nearing the 2 clones. He had done his job, placed everything that he asked. Both of the clones had what Zasz would call "The Force". They were each an exact replica, minus hair, skin, and eye color. Each of the clones knew who Zasz was, and knew each other, to a small bit.

"Any questions, do ask..."

Cyriam opened his eyes, his dark blue pupils adjusting to the light. He was rather groggy, he moved around in the makeshift bed that was a tube and he looked to the left, and saw the other one that was made. The last thing he remembered, or memory was leaving TSE, his hatred for the people at TSO, and love for someone that he still had. He sighed as he leaned back into the tube again, seeming to be too tired to wake up.

He finally opened his eyes and looked straight ahead towards Zasz. He was the man that had he, and Kineas made. He stepped out of the tube and looked down to the towel over his waist. His dark blue hair shook with the air that was in the cold medical room. He walked towards Zasz and then stood directly in his face.

"When do I get my clothes and lightsaber?"

He was cold as he said it, and also arrogant. He stared into the fiery crimson eyes of his counterpart. He felt like a brother somewhat, but that isn't what they were. All that Cyriam is, is a copy. A copy of the Original, that being Zasz. Out to his left, Kineas was also getting out of his tube, somewhat groggily and slower than he did.

"So, Zasz. Do we still have the same agenda, or has it changed?"

"I can imagine it's changed"

Kineas leaned his back, backwards and heard his spine pop rather loudly. He looked at his arm, then his body. He didn't remember being green in his memories. Something must have happened while they were being made. He looked at Zasz, then to Cyriam. He felt something, like a bond of the two, but shrugged it off to tiredness.

Yawning he looked to the doctor and then around the facility. Everything was quite interesting to him. He blinked again, remembering the past. Dalethria's smell seemed to be there, but it wasn't. She wasn't with him. She was never with him, but with Zasz. Regardless he moved forward to the other two.

"I'm right, aren't I? And also, Cyriam presents a two rather good questions. When do we get our clothes and lightsaber, and what is our Agenda. I bring up a third one. When can I get some food?"

"You are right, it has changed, Kineas. And to answer you both, clothes are on my ship, as is food. But for your lightsabers, you will have to build them."

He looked at each of them and grinned. He had them made for chaos, disorder, and for payback. But he had already worked out most of those issues, minus payback. Zasz looked at the Kineas, then to Cyriam. They needed to know what had happened since he had them cloned, for they only have memories up to then. He took them to a table that the doctor provided him and they all sat down as Zasz began to tell them everything.

He began with right after he left TSE and how he dissappeared for so long, and what he did during that time. How he went back and they cursed him. About how he named himself Rogue Sith, and wandered a path that wasn't meant for him. He told them how he met Jeseth Cloak, and that he took him in and taught him the Dark Arts. Zasz was a Dark Jedi now, and in a group he considered home. He looked to the clones, Cyriam and Kineas. He watched their mannerisms as each began to speak.

Cyriam seemed arrogant, more so than Zasz was. And he could also feel more anger in him, and he showed it openly. Kineas seemed calm, placid in everything he did. It was as if Kineas was more intelligent than Cyriam, and even himself. But he was just as smart as they both were. He could hear the anger in arrogance in Cyriam's voice...

Cyriam: "So, you hid from everybody, hiding your emotions. For nothing? Seems foolish to me."

Before Zasz could even answer, Kineas spoke up in his defense and seemed to put Cyriam in his place.

Kineas: "For nothing, are you yourself foolish? He was biding his time, thinking of what to do. He wandered trying to find his place. We would have done the exact thing, no doubt."

He watched as Cyriam was silenced and Kineas just seemed to sit there, looking at him. It was about time that they left. Zasz needed to show his brothers and sisters of the hand the clones, and see what they thought about it. But now someone else was there, Dalethria. How would the two react upon seeing her?

"We must go back to Bast Castle"

He stood up and began to leave, he heard the other 2 get up and leave. Fyin let them go, watching his work of several years, just leave. He would contact the cloner if he needed him again, but for now, it was indeed time to go. As the trio neared the ship, the ramp drew downwards and Zasz boarded it. The two clones had to walk carefully, due to the fact all they had on was towels, and no shoes. They got on the ship and he directed them into his quarters where the clothes were. Kineas said something though, before he left to change...

Kineas: "How is Dalethria? Will we see her any time soon?"

He stopped for a second and nodded his head, that was his only answer. He sighed as he sat down in the chair and began to punch in coordinates for Bast. This was most definatly going to be interesting.

Kineas stepped out of the quarters, Cyriam was still getting his clothes on. The trenchcoat that he wore seemed to gleam in the artificial light. He had clothes, but no lightsaber. He had guessed that he would have to build one, no doubt. He saw Zasz sitting in the pilots chair and he neared him, sitting in the chair opposite of him. He stared at his face, momentarily.

"Has she changed at all? Is she still the same?"

Zasz's face seemed to tense up to the questions, he must have apparently been hurt by her, and had to deal with the emotions all those years, by himself. He eyed him once more as he started to talk, about The Black Hand, and many other things, then he spoke about her.

Zasz: "I don't know if she has changed, I haven't seen her, but through a window of Bast Castle. She looked the same, but I have no idea about her feelings."

He leaned back in the chair, closing his eyes for another moment. Her face was in front of him for that mere second. It was the night that he and she had been out in a field, under the moon. They were together, intertwined in each others emotions, feeling her touch was peace, was heaven. But he opened his eyes. That wasn't him, that was Zasz. How he wished it was him, but technically it had been him, just Zasz.

He looked to the man who was sitting in the pilots chair, emerced in thought. Probably about what to do with he, and Cyriam. Kineas felt his stomach rumble and Zasz seemed to have heard it to, he pointed towards a door. Immediately Kineas opened it and stared at the assortment of food. He saw what looked like an apple. He took it out and stared at the green color, and grinned as he held it in his hand. It seemed camouflaged, until he took a bite of it.

The sensation of food was glorious, it was so good. He chewed it slowly, savouring every chew of the apple. It was sour, yet sweet. It was also crunchy. He heard a door close and turned around to see Cyriam, dressed differently than he. He was in the same garb that Zasz was. He took yet another bite of the apple and let him pass..

"What is this "Black Hand" like?"

He looked towards Kineas as he was eating an apple, how odd it looked in his hand. It almost looked like he was eating his own hand. He turned back to Zasz to watch him as he looked out the view screen into space. He was rather interesting, in fact, he was. So much had gone on in those years that they were being cloned, that when he explained them to the pair, he almost felt them, what they were like.

He came to the conclusion that he would have to make his own lighsaber, no doubt Zasz had the material, he would get to that soon. He started to walk around the ship, and felt like he had been there before. In theory he had, but not really. He leaned against a wall before going to where Kineas was, also taking some food out. He took a bite into the fruit and then another. He savored the taste, it was if he remembered correctly, a peach. He finished it and threw it away.

He took a seat that wasn't far behind Zasz and listened to him begin to talk about the Dark Jedi group. He mentioned all who was there, and he especially payed attention when he said Dalethria. He did long for her, but what she did to Zasz, he would remember. She was cold hearted for it. He listened on and sighed, how odd everything was. He moved his hand up to his head and scratched it lightly back and forth. He saw from the top of his head, small tentacles of blue hair.

He learned of Jeseth Cloak, and some of the history of TBH. His eyes went to Kineas momentarily, he was also listening as he sat down in the chair next to Zasz. They were both soaking up information that he was giving them. Cyriam spoke up and asked about a lightsaber, and Zasz told him about him having to make his own and that there were some adegan crystals in his quarters, and the material. Both Kineas and he went back to Zasz's quarters to get started on the weapon, they had some time before getting to Vjun.

He leaned back into his chair as he looked at the readouts on the control panel. They would be arriving upon Vjun in about a day, that gave the pair time to work on their lightsabers. He sighed lightly, what would those at The Hand say about the clones? How would Cyriam and Kineas react to everyone there? And even better, how would they react to Dalethria? They felt for her like they were with her yesterday. Especially Kineas, that much he could tell. He was openly showing some of his emotions about her, asking so many questions, then the silence about her.

Something else hit him. What would Dale do about Kineas? It had been years since Zasz had seen her, and what would she do upon seeing himself, and Cyriam? How would she react, to virtually the same person, who had the same feelings for her, if not even more so then Zasz felt for her years ago.

He sighed as he thought about the two. They were him, except for physical appearance, and some mental differences. But they had his feelings, his knowledge. They know what he knew. And even more, he had given them some information on The Hand moments ago, what would happen? They would all find out rather soon.

Zasz was silent until he heard some discussion back in his quarters and he moved back to look at the two. They were each working on a lightsaber hilt. They were working on the 2 hilts that Zasz had almost completed himself, but just stopped working on them, due to the fact he found a better design that suited him more. They were arguing about the power supply, and the Adegan crystal. Cyriam was putting it in the wrong spot, and Kineas was trying to help him, but to no avail. Zasz gave some input and both went back to work.

"We should be at Vjun in about a day, so be prepared.."

Kineas looked to Zasz as he walked away from the room, and went back to where the controls were. Vjun. He knew of it, it used to harbor the Dark Lord Of The Sith, Darth Vader. But he was long gone now, and now all that was left was the castle, and the wasteland on the planet. He looked down to the weapon he was creating and placed the green adegan crystal in it and placed the top of the hilt on it. He removed a tool and began to place it on where the two metals meet, sparks melting it together. He worked slowly on it, but diligently, not to make any mistakes on it.

He brought it up to his eyes, to inspect it. If Zasz had not already started work before on this, it would have taken him a week or more to complete this, but luckily it wasn't that far from being done. He fingered the button on the silver hilt and the green blade erupted to life with a snap hiss. He eyed it and then turned it off, clipping it to his belt. He turned to look at Cyriam and saw that he wasn't that far behind.

He stood up and left the room and found a seat near a small viewport and he stared out into the stars, not speaking to the other two. He closed his eyes once more and saw the inside of his chambers. The black silk sheets of a bed, the red decor of the room. Pictures of a family, that was his. And then her. He was already with her, caressing her cheek, feeling her warmth, her just being next to him satisfied him. The smell of her hair, how soft her cheek was as he held her in his arms and moved towards the bed....

He watched as Kineas finished his lightsaber then walked away from him and he narrowed his eyes down at the lightsaber hilt. He had just attached the top part of the weapon together with the tool and also looked at it, like Kineas did. He ignited the indigo blade and stared at it. It's dark blue hue, almost black made his face, eyes, and hair glow the color. He grinned and turned it off, clipping it to his belt.

He closed his eyes, taking a breath in. He remembered all that had happened to him. The Sith Empire, Dalethria, and leaving TSE and even dieng, but brought back by a would-be father. Then going to Khomm, talking to Fyin Tebbid. He remembered it all, it was all there. It confused him, how could he have ordered his own making? He didn't, it was Zasz. But still, it was rather odd, knowing what he knew.

They would be on Vjun shortly, maybe Kineas was resting or something. He might as well do the same. He looked at the bed and layed down on the small cot and closed his eyes. He sighed, why was he really brought here. If things had changed, Zasz could have left them both back with that guy. But he probably had figured why not, and just take them and use them as an advantage. Two was better than one, why not three? He was dwindling on these thoughts as he feel into a dreamless sleep.

Hours had passed. They both were asleep it seemed and they were nearing Vjun, they needed to be awake. Zasz slowed the ship down before entering the atmosphere and went to his quarters and woke up Cyriam. He woke up quicker than he did from the cloning tube, he told him that they were close to Vjun and he sat up immediately and stood. They both left the quarters and Zasz moved to Kineas, he seemed to be sleeping soundily but woke up with an angry look. He also told him and he stood up, and started to look slightly nervous.

He was also nervous, but not that much. He sat down in the pilots chair, and the others sat down also. He began to type in the coordinates for Bast Castle and sat back as the craft went through the atmosphere. It was shakey and he closed his eyes until it leveled out and he sighed. He saw the large castle and then looked back to Cyriam and Kineas. They seemed to be in awe of how large it was, it seemed to be withering away, but in fact was as strong as ever.

The shuttle landed near the gates of the castle that stood ominous over the planet of Vjun. He stood up and the other two did the same as he started to leave the ship, pressing the button on the ramp, already feeling those that were there.
