ATTENTION!!! Poster signatures.

It has recently been brought to the attention of the staff that there are several RP posters who are using files attached within threads here on the forums as their signatures. This is not a good idea if you all want this site to remain free. Bandwidth costs money. Using swforums as a signature host is not acceptable and runs up our bandwidth, thus making it more difficult to provide this set of forums free of cost to the average user.

So from this point on, it is established that anyone using a swforums attached image in their signature will first be warned and then placed on signature probation, if the warning is not heeded, which will make it impossible for them to have a signature at all or modify their user profile in any way, as well as the dandy little custom user title stating the user is on Signature Probation.

Please be respectful of your forum environment and help keep it cost free for the rest of the general community.

Posters who are using images hosted by SWForums as attachments for their signatures will have the images removed on sight.

If you really need a place to host your signature, there are lots of websites still offering free hosting. Geocities doesn't seem to mind the remote linking of *.txt files. ;)
