Using Sforums as a file host

Have a question that might worth be discussing.

Ive noted that some players (Kindo is a good example) are using the file upload feature to turn SWForums into a graphics host for signitures. Now I personally try to host everything I put up at Clanpages or at my work, but obviously others aint. Is there a policy on this? Is it worth considering?

Now that really burns my butt. They should be banned for that, imho.

I do not approve of people abusing the attachment feature in such a way at all. I agree there should be a policy in place forbidding it.

I was unable to find an example of it looking through a bunch of Kindo's posts but that doesn't change my displeasure for the concept at all.

He's a good Rp'er and a pretty cool person, I'lll have a quiet PM with him. I'm pretty certain theres a couple others doing it.

Vis, I dont think banning is necessary - just an announcement for the beginning and if people continue THEN a rap over the knucles.

I was sort of afraid something like that might happen. Ogre, do you think you could post an announcement regarding that? I'd do it myself, but I just finished making an announcement, and I'd prefer if one of the other staff members made this one.

Ok, I just did a User Lookup for people with "swforums" in their signature, and I found several other people doing this. I'm removing the images from their signature. That should give them the hint.
