Saw it, loved it, laughed extremely hard. Rehash of old jokes, but still a riot. Go see it, its worth it.

Rating: A

I hope to see it in the next couple days. If the characters are as funny as AP2, then I'll be satisfied.

I went to see it on Friday, but blurted out SPiderman instead. I remembered how unfunny 3/4 of the trailer was :)

I found the first one very unfunny myself, the humor just doesn't appeal to me so I doubt I will see it.

I refuse to see it. No 1 was okay, 2 was a POS.

Why the hell do we have to put up with rehashed blurter when things like Minority Report should get better runs? I just do not get it.

AUSTIN POWERS IS A SEXAY BITCH, YEAH BABY!

Agreed, Carr.

What type of person does it to take actually to laugh at the first movie? A really drunk, stoned one?! (I'm just kidding, lol, but ugg, not funny). I mean, I cannot recall laughing a single time. It was pathetic. My entire family watched it together and all four of us sat there with blank looks on our faces like, "... I don't get it. What is this crap?!" One of the absolute worst comedies I have ever seen.

Then I saw AP2 on TV and was pleasantly surprised. It was a much better film and quite funny in many parts. I don't think the 2nd was rehashed at all, it was entirely different from the first movie obviously and a lot better too. The third film, which I just saw tonight, was pretty darn funny. I'd give it three stars, a solid B- grade. It's a fun time at the movies, but pretty stupid too ;)

(how is this for "not being a stranger" -- two posts today, but I'm done now, got friends coming over...).

The first 10 minutes or so were BRILLIANT. The rest went from amazingly unfunny to hilarious.

Goldmember was terribly unfunny. Woo, he is Dutch. He loves goooooold. He eats his skin. He kicks. He wears clogs. Aside from the final GOldmember joke, he was useless.

Beyonce Knowles was there for...................actually, what WAS she there for? AN excuse to play the SHaft music?

Mini Me was great though :)

I don't know how people can dis the first Austin Powers. Even if you think it wasn't as funny as the sequels (personally, I think AP1 was about 10 times funnier than Spy Who Shagged Me) without the first one, there wouldn't be any sequels! It's like someone saying ANH is crap! :)

I am not dissing I just don't think its really funny but that is just me, I guess the humor doesn't appeal to me.

well the first one was awlful, the 2nd was worse and the 3rd well I'm sure it's the pit's. I would love to slap mini -me across the room.. But that's My opinion .:)

Reaper, right on target man! You hit the nail on the head with all of your points. I should mention that in my review.

You are absolutely right. I still enjoyed the movie, thought it was a good, funny movie, but yeah, Beyonce is hardly in it for any reason whatsoever. Ok they get a few good jokes off her, I guess, but she hardly says anything. She doesn't even seem to be a factor. Goldmember is not funny, the character, that is. Fat B*stard is always funny, haha, oh man he is so gross it is just funny. But those are good points you made, I'm going to remember to mention that in my review.

At least I don't feel like the odd-man-out for thinking AP is unfunny.

You're odd for other reasons, Nuppy boy. :)

Fat Bastich is icky :x And for some reason I thought Michael Caine was dead.

He isn't, is he?

I saw AP3 yesterday and found it absolutely hilarious. The best of all of them in my opinion. No matter how many times Mini-Me gets knocked about, it's always funny. Dr. Evil stole the show once again, familiar old jokes were great. The cameos were excellent, the start of the film really got me in the mood. I never thought a mole could be so entertaining! :)

Peh, I've had those jokes at me for years. Mike Myers just ripped off anyone I knew for about 4 years of my life. Least they were creative in their insults :)

I loved it. Totally disagree about Goldmember...he cracked me up!

But yeah, its not the funniest of the three overall. I'd rate it about on par with the original. Spy who shagged me is still numero uno IMO :)

It was fun, and the cameos were great

But it lacks something, Foxxy Cleopatra was dissapointing and Goldmember just annoying.

I thought it was funny, but not up to par IMO. But maybe I was just not with the right group of people. Mood in a theatre also contributes to how much I enjoy a movie.
