Curse you Carr, I wanted the highest guess! I'm surprised how poorly everything else is doing. If AP3 gets a decent Saturday boost and a hold over $20M on Sunday it could get close to $80M for the weekend. Again, CURSE YOU CARR!!! :cool

LOL that is because I posted so late, I was actually going to post 74 Friday Morning but nobody had the courage to post any numbers and I didn't want to be a trend setter, I knew if somebody saw my guess somebody would top me or there would too many people over 70, and when I came on latter I lucked out. Still I did mess up on Country Bears I was going to change it but I completly forgot, I am hoping that Road to Predition beats out SL though otherwise I will just get one right.

It's only predicted to make $71 million for the weekend, if that's any consolation.

I did very badly in this week's contest.

There went my top 5 finish. :(

A few weeks ago I was in 4th place...challenging for a top 3 finish. Now I'll be lucky to finish in the top half.

$800,000 for the weekend ain't bad. It's about the same Spidey made in its 11th week.

Compared to the webslinger we've actually kinda managed to hold steady lately.

Too bad that didn't happen until a couple of weeks ago. :\

I know it got its legs too late, it still could get within 100 million of Spiderman, maybe closer than that, and it looks like it will probably beat it overseas considering how well its doing in Japan. Hey look at this way if we add the Merchandise and the tie ins I think AOTC was just as successful as Spiderman, Spiderman has been doing lousy toy wise, I go into the toy store to get the latest SW figure and the spiderman figures are still there, while some of the SW figures you can't find, plus they are too much money 7 bucks and they are crummy looking too, Sony really went to a crummy toy maker.

Well, I'm not counting merchandise. :p

AOTC hasn't hit the discount circuit yet...the boost should be relatively high. I know I'll see it a few times. :)

I think it might make 4-6 million from discount theaters, TPM made 11 so half that total sounds about right. I might go see it a few more times at my budget theater too, its not playing at the one near me yet though.

Me either. I'm considering seeing "Windtalkers" tommorrow there though. I didn't really wanna pay regular admission, but now it's a bit tempting.

Of course I mostly heard it was bad, so we'll see.
