I'm always surprised by how relatively short actresses are. Portman is like 5'2" or something, Nina Gordon (on my list) is not much taller. The only ones that are "taller" on my list are Kournikova, Sims, Casta and Stacey Keibler who is almost 6 feet tall. She still only weighs about a buck 10 though. :\

If she's 6' tall, she weighs more than 110. :) I'm only 5'9" and I weigh about 130-35, and thats on the underside of healthy for my height. I used to weigh 118...don't know what happened there....

Anyway, unless she's a bedridden waif, she probably weighs a good 140. And thats STILL really tiny for 6' tall.

I weigh about 135 and I'm 5'10"

At one point I was down to 132, after being at 140 before I went to college. LMU was so depressing that I just didn't bother eating ;) LOL, it was either eat alone or don't eat at all and I just flipped a coin on a daily basis, haha. Kidding...

But I had only like one serious meal per day, the rest snacks, and while I am home here I only have two meals a day generally. I get up at like 1 p.m. or so and I have cereal, that's one meal, and then I eat dinner at 6 or 6:30 and that's the 2nd meal, and that's it. I just have snacks after that and go to bed at like 3 a.m. or later most of the time. Tonight I gotta hit the hay earlier.

Dominique Swain is so hot. :) Good lord, her in Face/Off, yikes, and she was young there too ;)

I don't think you should be self conscious about your weight, CMJ...its genetic, its not like you're anorexic or something. I once was walking home from the bus stop in CA and someone (female) yelled out of their car window "Gain some weight!"

Its reverse descrimination or something. Its not people making fun of use because we're fat, but because we're thin. Granted, my situation was a ltitle bizarre and I laughed it off, but sometimes thin comments hurt too.

All the other women at my work are always commenting on how thin I am and how I should eat more. I think I shoudl try the "getting un-single" approach... ;) although mine is genetic as well. And I don't really *want* to be less thin. More tone, yet. Situps tonight! *dies on the couch instead* :x

It is NOT a big deal for a girl to be really skinny, but I wish I was bigger built. I am not, though. Working out doesn't do anything. I can gain muscle mass, yes, and I can become pretty toned and pretty strong for my size, but that doesn't make me big. You are either built big or you are not. I know a kid who is 3 years younger than me and for about 3 years now, since he was 13, he was absolutely huge. Not fat, just extremely muscular, very densely built. Some people are just like that, others are skinny.

I will probably always be skinny. Also because I don't especially eat a lot so even when I do get older and my metabolism isn't as good, it's not like I am used to eating really unhealthily. Actually, just the opposite. I am sure I eat better than 95 to 99% of Americans. My mom always cooks and is really conscious about what she uses and basically my parents are health freaks in that sense. My mom is 49 and is super active, hikes almost daily, jogs four miles three times a week, takes care of this house, hehe, she is very active. I do not eat much fast food, except occassionally. It's maybe a once a week thing at the very most. It used to be more like 3-5 times a week for lunch back in high school but that was almost entirely Subway turkey sandwiches and those are about as healthy as you can get, so hardly fast food.

I think it's stupid when people say something like, "Well this is an average weight for so and so," or whatever. I have seen the stupidest charts trying to say that a girl who is 5'6" should weigh 140 pounds or whatever. Yeah, RIGHT! That is so far above what many girls that height weigh and they still look great and are healthy. It's this whole anti-super model look of trying to tell people who are in fact overweight that they are "just fine." Of course, some people who weigh that much and are 5'6" may be just fine because that is their body build, but then it makes all girls who are 110 and 5'6" think, "WTF? I am weigh underweight then." Not actually.

I am not underweight. I eat whatever and whenever I want. When I'm hungry, I eat. I weigh 135 pounds anyway. That's just my natural weight, it's not under or over anything. It's just normal.

I (true story) went out with this lady , and she couldn't have been more tham 90 pounds. and All I can say (since this is a g rated forum) was that the sex was very un comfortable, and a view from up top was not appealing. I think woman should look Like woman ( yes SOME woman bodybuilders are too manly) they should have curves and rounded part's not bone sticking out and stabbing you. Of course NOT all skinny woman are bad , but the norm are.

No I really didn't give it the half star for that, but I felt that no stars was way too harsh considering the film didn't offend me in anyway, it just wasted my time, which is a crime, but not one punishable by a no star rating :D
