[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei Wu Wei stood next to a river and looked down as the water cascaded down into a small pool below. From there, the pool became a river again. Practicing martial arts was nice. The cool air around the river made it even better.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, Wei began to practice his blocking systems.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

At the bank of the flowing river, a man stood, previously unnoticed by the Jedi. He peered upwards, he canted, an amused smirk playing upon his lips.

"Good sir," he called out.

The look upon his face turned to feigned confusion, as he cloaked his dark aura with one mimicking that of an inept Padawan.

"I say, sir!"

His voice, this time, louder.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei looked in the direction of the voice. He had never imagined anyone but himself would be out in a place like this.

"Can I help you?"

Wei called out to him.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

"I fear I have strayed from my path and cannot find my way back to the nearest village."

Vega looked pained and almost desperate as he said these words.

[Wei Wu Wei]

"Nearest village? Well, I know where I cam from and it took me quite a while to get here. I can;t say that I know of any other villages around this area. Which village do you come from?"

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Instantly his mind merged into Wei's and tore out of the name of the last village which Wei had visited.

"Kanbel," he said in a solemn tone.

"I come from Kanbel... I must get there soon, my family are ill with fever and I must bring this cure to them," he said, raising a bottle of green liquid into the air.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei nodded as he saw the man hold up a flask of some substance he took to be medicine.

"Well, where there is a river, ther eis a town. I'll tell you what. Let's walk downstream for a little bit and see if we can;t find a town. I'm afraid I can't go with you for a long distance. My Master or someone will get worried about me I imagine."

Wei somersaulted and dove down along with the waterfall, landing wiht a small splash. A fw minutes later, Wei ememreged on the opposite bank of the stranger.

"My name is Wei Wu Wei." He called over to the other person. And you are?"

[Vega Van-Derveld]

He paced slowly towards the river, again feigning apprehension as he began to dredge through the water slowly to reach the other side of the bank. Thankfully, as he stepped out, his clothes remained intacted.

"I am Oran," he stated quietly.

"Oran Fett, the Blacksmith. Thank you for your help, kind sir. Please, lead the way to the village."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei laughed. "Well, to tell the truth, I'm not too sure that we are even gonna reach a river within the next day or so. But your family is in trouble and we have no other way to find civilization."

Wei walked briskly, almost running. He sure hoped a village or a house or soemthing would show up soon. He had a bad feeling about all this.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

'Oran' picked up the pace at which he walked to, pushing the vial of medicine back into his coat pocket. As he moved, he looked sideways at Wei.

"Thank you for your help, Wei. I sense much good in you, you will have a reward once I reach my home," he said with a warm smile.

[Wei Wu Wei]

"umm...no rewards please. I'm just doing as my grandfather taught me."

Wei tried to realx, but someting was really bugging him.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia looked back at and yelled to the guys following. "Hurry up Wei has been waiting on us forever now. If we don't get there soon he will be water logged." Maia moved her bag to the other shoulder that was carrying her towel and her saber. She figured she would get a spar in from Zeke while there.

She reached the mouth of the water fall and called out to her friend. " Heyyy Weiiiiii we finally made it. Took us forever with these slow men here." Not spotting him she sent a force message. "Hey Wei where you at?" Moving closer she began her search.

[Lion El' Jonson]

A figure flew overhead on a speeder bike, the Twister, and he noticed Maia and the others slogging their way through the forest.

The figure shrugged, continuing on, trying to find Wei. The man was wearing board shorts under his dark green cloak, as well as a distruptor rifle, a heavy blaster, and, most importantly, his modified lightsaber.

The man finally spotted his friend, Wei, running along the river with another figure that he had seen before. The man typed a code into his vehicle, then jumped off before the bike touched down. After running along the river towards the place where he had last seen Maia and the others, he finally spotted them, still slogging on. He let the hood of the cloak drop down, revealing a tall man with blonde hair and green eyes.

"Hello, Maia."

[Saul Mordeth]

Saul had arrived at Kanbel where Wei had asked him to meet. Saul had alway's liked to tinker with tool's and weapon's so he was not suprised to have Wei come to him. Having completed the lightsaber sooner than expected Saul had arrived early.

Setting his backpack down Saul went through his tools and makeshift weapons. Pulling something out Saul sat down on a stool and started to tinker.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

"Hey Wei where you at?"

The Force message sent to the Padawan was heard by Vega as he walked. He could sense then three more lightside users somewhere up ahead, back towards the village. Each had a fairly small force presence, though perhaps one was a Knight. He smiled somewhat to himself; Vega knew his reputation didn't precede him, and would therefore appear as simply an oddly dressed man to them.

"How much farther, Wei?"

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei thought about it. The nearest town....a village called Kanbel...

"I remember now! I had business in Kanbel! I wasn't gonna go until much later, though. Now is a good time, I suppose."

Wei grew more comfortable as he heard his friends and remembered his business.

"Let's hurry up. Now that I remember, it won't be long now to reach the town."

Wei eased into a brisk jogging pace.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

He followed suit and picked up his speed, careful not to over do it so much so that it would reveal his true nature. He was curious to see whom he would be meeting with ...

[Zeke]

Zeke burst from the bushes right in front of Wei and Vega, saber drawn and on.

"Jeez, thought I'd never get through there. The stuff thicker'n...well, you get the idea. How's it going, Wei?"

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios was a little behind Maia with a flask glued to his lips. He brught it down and laughed.::
Good grief Maia, how much farther are you goin to drag me around this place?

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei stopped jogging as Zeke burst from the forest.

"Zeke! Hi. We gotta go to a town not far from here then we go back to the waterfall. cool? Where is everyone else?"

Wei moved around Zeke and continued his jog downstream.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion pulled up his cloak's hood and flew through the forest on his hoverboard, a personal force field from his Mercenary days charring away the foliage.

Finally, Lion burst through the last group of bushes, emerging next to Wei, Zeke, and another figure that Lion was sure he had seen before, though he wasn't able to place it. He checked beneath his cloak for the reassuring presence of his Lightsaber.

The hood cast a shadow over his face, so Lion pulled it down. His spiked hair ruffled slightly in the wind. He triggered off his force field, tossed it into the bag over his shoulder, then jumped off he hoverboard, placing it under his arm.

"Hello, Wei. I see we've got company...would you mind introducing your friend to us?"

Lion's voice was cold, a marked difference from his usually happy self. There was something that just didn't feel...right about the stranger. Lion was glad that Zeke was already here, and that Maia and Dios were on their way. This might turn out to be interesting.

(ooc: This'll be fun to tell Master Dasquian...cough, cough!)

[Maia Tharrinn]

Dropping back to walk with Dios, Maia laughed and snatched the bottle from him. After sipping it she handed it back. "I don't know where he went to but he said he would meet us right here. This is strange. You getting tired or something Dios? You want a piggy back ride?" Maia laughed

[Vega Van-Derveld]

As one of the Padawans burst from the bushes, he stumbled backwards in a mock show of suprise. He grinned uneasily towards the blonde haired man, looking sideways towards the other - Zeke - who had arrived.

"Ahum," he spoke with a higher pitch of voice than normal, holding back the natural hoarse growl to his tone.

"My name is Oran Fett, I'm a blacksmith from the town of Kanbel, good to meet you all!"

[Zeke]

"Yeah right! I'll bet you're a Sith lord that wants to kill us ALL like the impudent li'l wretches we are!"

Zeke was joking, naturally. He had been studying the Sith in preparation for an honor duel he was to have with a Sith apprentice. He had no clue how right he was.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

"A what lord?"

A look of true blank confusion struck Oran.

"I seek only help and a guide back to my village... which I must return to as quickly as possible! Please, we must hurry."

[Zeke]

"Chill! I was kiddin', pal."

But he'd seen the look on Lion's face, and was wary.

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios and Maia walked up to the place where the others were just in time to hear from Fett. Dios thought he recognized the man but took it out of his mind for now. He'd remember later.::
Zeke, you're gonna give the guy a heart attack. My name's Dios Kane. Nice to meet you Fett. Well... uh, who is this again? Wei? I can't remember if we've met or not? Well, either way. How's it goin?

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Hey, Zeke. Wait up for a sec."

Lion ran over to his friend and whispered something into his ear along the lines of:

"Don't use force messaging, if this guy is a Sith, and I think he is, he can probably intercept it..."

Lion would've said the same thing to Wei, but "Oran"...if that was who he really was...would probably hear.

Also, Lion could feel another force presence. Although he couldn't tell if it was good, bad, what it's emotions were, or even where the heck it was...something wasn't right.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei was glad his friends had arrived.

"We are almost to the place. Let's go."

They all walked down the river for a short distance until they reached the town. And there, on the outskirts, was Saul, tinkering with some components.

"Saul! Hey, good to see you! You got what I asked you for? Or is that it, there?" Wei asked pointing to he parts he was holding.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion had no idea what Wei was talking about, but his friend's mood had lifted considerably since "the cavalry" had arrived.

In case this turnd ugly, Lion had brought along a few interesting toys from his arsenal, besides his guns and saber...it would be interesting to see what a thermal detonator does in a forest.

"Good, you must've been walking a few hours, right?"

[Wei Wu Wei]

We shrugged at Lion's question. He wasn't tired at all and had lost track of time.

"I don't think so.."

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Oran walked in silence with his guide and aqquaintance. Simply listening, he surveyed what was going on carefully. With subtle deft ease he brushed against Lions mind and lessened the suspision he held on Vega, without the Padawan even noticing it - it was so simple.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei suddenly shivered violently. His grandpa said that when Wei shivered like that, someone was doing something more than wrong.

Wei turned to Oram as he was called.

"Here is the town. Have a nice day."

Wei, having helped the strager, returned his attention to Saul.

"What you doing?"

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion felt a tiny little tingle in the back of his head...and then it went away.

"Hey, Oran, would you like my flask of gin?"

...Lion shook his head. That wasn't right...but Oran was his best friend in the world......

[Saul Mordeth]

Saul was somewhat preoccupied with his tinkering and didn't hear the party arrive at first. Saul looked up "ahh you made it." Making the final adjustment on the Saber he tossed it to Wei. "There all finished as you specified."

Saul knew that something was wrong there was an edge in Wei's voice that wasn't normally there. "Thanks Saul it's beautiful."

Using the Force Saul called his pack to him and strapped it around himself. Zeke spoke to Saul "What are those on your gloves and on your belt." Saul looked at the items on his belt and answered "Well on my belt are some of my own new modified Jedi weapon's some of which I built into Wei's lightsabre. As for these bauble's in my glove's they belong to two of the 3 Sith who attacked me on my arrival to the GJO. I keep them as reminder's of the treachery of the Sith. "

[Zeke]

"Neato. This guy here is creepy like a Sith, but he doesn't act like a spoiled brat or angry teenager like they do."

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Yes, Zeke...Oran is our best friend." Lion said dreamily.

"Wait a second" Lion's brain said to himself..."I shouldn't be feeling this good."

Something clicked...

"Okay, who the hell is out there?" Lion said to himself...and then, he had a thought.

"Zeke, watch him." Lion whispered. "I think he's been manipulating my mind."

Lion reached under his cloak, making sure "the surprises" were still there.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei shuddered again. He held the lightsaber in his hand. Now that he had a saber, he would ask his master later on to teach him how to use it.

"OK guys, let's go have some fun. See you later. Oran."

Wei had helped him find the town, and now Wei wanted to go back to the waterfall. Oran could get the medicine to his family on his own just fine. He was sure of it.

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Yes, Oran, it was a pleasure to meet you. I hope we meet again, some day..." Lion made sure his tone suggested otherwise.

Reaching into his cloak, Lion wrapped his fingers around the handle to his blaster...if "Oran" was gonna do anything, it would be now.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Suddenly Wei remembered something he had forgotten.

"Oh, yeah. Saul, umm...how much did you say you wanted for the lightsaber?"

Wei's family never usually had a use for money. They had always gotten their provisions from people they had met in their travels. But Wei knew that some people did not give away things for free and had brought some money with him to pay Saul in case he should ask for payment.

[Zeke]

Zeke was now bouncing lightly on his toes.

"So are we gonna go chill and swim by the falls or what? And why is dude still here if he has family that needs help?"

Even now Zeke was being a good little Jedi, being helpful and mindful of others.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion walked over towards Zeke and laughed...all of this seriousness and thinking was getting very boring...

"Ya, we should go swimming...I brought my board shorts...and pool toys!"

Lion made sure that his blaster was fully charged...he wanted to have the upper hand if something went wrong.

"Ya, Oran, you just got a first class escort through the Yavin forests...now go save your family." Lion made sure his last few words were cold.

(ooc: Lion pats Zeke on the head..."Good Little Jedi...")

[Saul Mordeth]

Saul was somewhat more serious than his fellow Padawan's but enjoyed a good time whenever his studies permitted. Pulling out his blaster when he saw Lionel checking his weapon's Saul twirled his around. Velorian concussion blaster specially modified to shoot the wings off a fly. Useless though when surronded by Jedi.

Saul handed it to Wei " Here check it out." Saul dropped something out of his bag but seemed unconcerned. As for payment Ill think of something. I don't want credits.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion ran over to Wei. That was no ordinary gun...

"Hey, Wei, lemme see."

Lion practiced a few draws with it, then sighted it on a Piranha beetle. Lion had no doubt that he would hit it if he actually fired.

"Wow...look at the balance on it. That's some weapon, no doubt about it."

[Vega Van-Derveld]

And so he was at the edge of the village. He paced down into the unfamiliar surroundings and approached a well into the centre of the village. With one flick of his wrist he smashed the vial against the stonework, sending the mutegen virus down into the water works to pollute what drinking water the villagers had.

Moving further down into the city, he knelt downwards and pressed his palms against the floor. Within moments a tremor of dark force energy burst out through the paving stones, ripping like an earth quake through the buildings. More screams erupted as people were thrown about in their houses.

Rising back to his feet, he began speaking an incantation, his voice rising to a sonorous deep boom:

"OBEI DA, NAMORA!"

And as he said these words, a roar tore through the village. Suddenly from out of seemingly no where a 7 foot 5 hulking wolf, reared onto its hind legs, came charging through the village. The werewolf, a transformation of a Sith Knight approached Vega, tearing up people as it made its way to him.

"Silverback!" Vega barked, eyes darting back up into the direction of the Padawans.

"Destroy every living thing you find."

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios hadn't gone with the others. He'd told Maia, he'd catch up cuz he had to pee. He knew he had recognized the guy from somewhere. And he had seen everything from his tree. He knew the guy now. Van Derveld... That little tattoo and everything, there was a bunch of people with that last name in the TSE, he hung out at Ramas all the time. He'd never actually met them. But he'd seen them. And now there was a big werewolf. It was like old times again. Werewolves and sorcerers. Let's get to work then, the others will sense him a mile away. He walked from behind is tree, drew his lightsaber and casually walked down into the village. He saw the monster in front of Vega.::
Hey, puppy dog, let's play!

[Silverback]

Silverbacks full black eyes locked onto to screaming people trying to avoid contact with the beast but it was to late. The werewolf saw his first target, a child no older than about 15 in male form ran to close to the towering monster and with one swoop of the wolfs giant hand the razor sharp claws dug deep into the boys head killing within an instant. The wolf pulled forward and ripped his talons out the other side of the males head tearing his face of with it, with that, the flesh was dropped into the beats mouth with delight.

Vegas words rang into the beasts head and set in his mind like it was stamped there; "Destroy every living thing you find" his master said and looked towards the Jedi. Silverback waisted little time and started his advance on the foolish mortal Dios, crushing and destroying villagers in his path, a line of fallen villagers dead on the dusty floor in his bloody wake. The monsters top lip raised in anger and in deadly force showing a line of perfectly formed razor sharp teeth that could quite possibly cut through steel and of course silver backs other state was a Sith Knight, Dios had a hard battle to come.

' JEDI!' The werewolf roared through his gaping jaws.

[Lion El' Jonson]

It was time for his surprise...Lion knew this had been a bad idea.

"Take this, you stupid hound!"

Lion drew his arm back and chucked a Class A thermal detonator at the savage beast as it rampaged through the village, killing the populace.

Everybody present could see the perfect spherical shape fly through the air and explode right in front of the wolf.

A second later, the explosion died down and the Werewolf was gone, leaving only a massive crater that extended for 20 meters in every direction, including straight down. Lion walked up to the crater, wondering where the wolve's part were...then, with a roar, Silverback came flying up behind him, and Lion threw himself forward into the crater.

...Silverback, aside from some singed fur, wasn't even scratched, and he threw himself forward with a fury like one Lion had never seen before. Lion ignited his saber and cut a hole right below him, opening an old well hole. He jumped down, cushioning his landing in the soft dirt, then decided to wait until the wolf went away so he could fly back up on his hoverboard.

[Saul Mordeth]

Saul sighed, his father had trained him for ten year's before he had even come here. Trained him day and night in the way's of the Jedi. Saul alway's asked him,"Why must I train in advance father wont they teach me when I get there?" Now Saul understood when he answered. "If you survive." Now I have to deal with a Sith Werewolf? This was getting ridiculous.

Sensing the uneasiness of the group Saul had dropped a little suprise on the ground when he had handed Wei the blaster. Now was the time to use it. Wei looked at Saul "what is that?" "Silverback control" Saul answered. Concentrating on the Sphere it rose in the air and headed straight for Silverback. The wolf tried to swat it out of the air with no success. Saul then deliberately aimed it at the Wolf man. The ball hit him in the chest. Wei recolled from what he thought was going to be an explosion.

There was an explosion but not what they expected thick white gooey stuff exploded all over the Werewolf. So sticky, so thick that within moments he could no longer move. Silverback simply fell over and stuck to the ground. Igniting his lightsabre he looked at Wei be careful the Master is 10 time's more deadly that the animal. The rest of you do not take this man lightly we are in a fight for our lives!

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei looked at the blaster in his hand. He knew how to poerate it. Just squeeze the trigger. It was aiming that was his biggest weakness. Wei put the blaster in his belt and turned to the others.

"You guys, I'm going to shuit off the water to stop the disease from getting farther than it is. We'll worry about killing the disease later. I'll rejoin yu guys later once the water is off."

Wei found a place to go underground and ran down along the pipes, trying to find a master control valave or a button or something.

"There's gotta be one around here somewhere."

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion had just flown out of the well when there was an explosion and he heard Silverback roar in fury.

Looking back, he saw the massive creature fighting to free itself from a sticky mess.

"Hmmm, glop grenade...good work, Saul." Lion said, as he whizzed overhead on his hoverboard, intent on reaching the town's water supply.

"Wei, I'll come with you...we'll need to stop that damn virus."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei smiled. "Thanks Lion. But are you sure you don;t want to play with the puppy?"

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Oh, yah, it's a real cute puppy, considering it's trying to tear my had off...but I think we should deal with the big problems right now, while the hound is stuck to the floor..."

Lion resumed his search for a main cut-off valve along the pipes.

[Zeke]

Zeke was being nimble again, moving on all fours as if he were his mutant cockroach. He scuttled around and climbed a house, looking down on the action. He ignited his saber, tracking Silverback as he fought Dios.

OOC: As a werewolf, how big is Silverback?

[Zeke]

OOC: It's late, I have 5 hours of sleep in the last 2 days! Cut some slack!

IC:Zeke dived on Silverback, shutting down his saber and holding the werewolf in a chokehold.

"A Sith Knight you may be, and you may be powerful, but that won't stop us!"

[Lion El' Jonson]

(ooc: Calm, man, I was jk. Good luck!)

Lion finally found the main cutoff valve, a large handle marked "Main cutoff Valve".

"God, I'm stupid..." Lion thought, switching off the water.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

As Zeke leapt onto Silverback he suddenly felt a large pressure on his chest, then moments after was tossed upwards into the air as Vega span on his heel - throwing out a Force push into the Padawan's body. A deeply amused grin played on his lips as he again brought both hands together and gathered up dark energy before whipping it into the ground, sending it across to the well so that the well collapsed - the stone work tumbling inwards on it. As he rose up to stand again, he called Seraphim to his hands and looked upon the Jedi with an also demented gaze.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia pulled her saber from her pouch a grimace on her face. She knew they faced a powerful and deadly opponent. Sighing she called on the force to calm and aid her. She sent out a call to any master that might hear her. She had been trained by her master to protect the innocent but she still had a hard time thinking about taking life. Obviously the Sith did not.

"Vega, I have heard of you. A powerful Sith in your own right." Maia raised her saber and ignited the blue blade. The snap hiss was loud in Maia's ears. Her heart ached. "Is it Padawans you wish to fight Vega or someone who can give you a challenge." Maia knew the Sith probably did not think she would be a challenge but she would be in for a nasty surprise...

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion ran as fast as possible, his green cloak billowing out behind him...

...and then stopped. It was a scene of total devastation. Zeke was lying on the ground, but unhurt, while Maia tried to duel with the Sith. The wolve was screaming, still stuck in the glop, while Saul tried to attack it. Houses all around were burning, and the well had collapsed in on itself.

"Mistress Maia! Will you be alright?" he screamed, ready to charge into battle against the Sith...he knew this man posed a thousand times more of a threat than the werewolf....

[Vega Van-Derveld]

"NEVER," he barked, "Call me a Sith!"

The Dark Jedi growled almost mimicking the werewolf, his own Lupine fangs showing fully partially.

"You, Jedi Knight," he said in a mocking tone, gesturing towards her with the now ignited blade of his saber - Seraphim,

"Are no challenge to me. You are all playthings. Uneducated playthings. Your training has done nothing but left you bent upon meditation and babble - you were not wise enough to sense me or my wolven companion here, yet you claim to be at one with the Force."

He stepped forwarda few passes, knocking Lion backwards up into the air without even showing a physical echo of the move.

"I am made of the Force, am I not? Why did you not sense me? Answer me. NOW."

[Zeke]

Zeke rubbed his head.

"Ow...that hurt..."

[Lion El' Jonson]

(ooc: I think he just threw you off, then gathered some force energy and drove into the ground like a spike...that's what blew up the well....though it woulda been cool if he tossed you into it :lol)

Lion grabbed his lightsaber, an artifact he had found a few months ago. It had a long, brownish-yellow handle, and when it was switched on, a long blue blade came out that was much wider than the handle...overall, a deadly weapon, and much different from most lightsabers...though Lion had yet to test it in actual combat, it should work well....

Suddenly, he was blasted backwards by Vega and landed painully on his side. Twisting around to face the man, he said:

"Because you...are made up of the dark side...you chose the wrong path...you're pathetic...." Lion jumped up with a backflip and ignited his saber, ready to do battle with the being...he knew he didn't have a chance, but he didn't have to win for the plan to work..........

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei sat down Indian style by the well.

"Sith, Dark Jedi. Same thing."

Wei had a simple style of logic that came off to most as childish, but that was ok. Wei's logic often provided easy answers that made everyone happy. Except for maybe the Sith/Dark Jedi, whatever he was.

Wei leapt up and assumed a fighting stance. He stepped forward with his left foot in front and his right foot behind. his feet were parallel, toes pointing forward. His right hand was kept in a tight chamber and his left one came down in a low block.

"You're bad! LIAR!"

Wei charged Vega, knowing what he was up against.

"You may be more experienced in the Force than I am, but I WILL defeat you!"

Wei found his grounded state and tapped into what little Force he could control. He knew his master would not be happy with his somewhat hasty choice of action, but as a Jedi, it was his duty to set things right. Wei moonsaulted over Vega and swept at his feet before jumping away again.

[Zeke]

Zeke sat up and watched Wei lunge at Vega. Silverback was struggling with the goop, but would probably break out soon. He stood and began to search himself.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

He caught himself instantly, turning the attack to his advantage as he flipped and landed. Vega threw one hand out backwards and gripped Wei through the Force, lifting him upwards sharply before tossing him out so that he crashed straight into Zeke.

[Zeke]

"OW!"

Zeke wasn't hurt, just knocked over. A mutant cockroach crawled over his face.

"I found m'buddy!"

Zeke placed the cockroach on the pile of well rubble and stood, helping Wei to his feet.

"They taught me a martial art on a starship. Let's go get him."

[Lion El' Jonson]

With a battle cry, Lion charged straight towards Vega, his saber in front of him, and took a great slash at the evil man....

...and completely missed. Vega, sensing the attack, simply sidestepped his saber and hit Lion in the back...his fist felt like steel.....

"Umph..." was all that came out as he went sprawling on the ground.

Jesus, we need a distraction, Lion thought to himself...I know! Reaching into his cloak, Lion pulled out a small, circular device known as a beacon call unit. Dialing in a few buttons while appearing to be lying down in the ground, injured, Lion heard a "beep" and knew that it had worked. Off in the distance, a hum was heard, and a second later, a black dot appeared in the sky...

"You may be stronger than I am, Vega...but you're much stupider...I know you can dodge me, but I don't think you can dodge this....."

Lion's speederbike, the Twister, had responded to Lion's beacon call unit. The device called the designated device to the user's location, and Lion's bike would get there, even if it had to go through Vega...

The man moved impossibly fast, but even so, the bike was moving at 500 km/hr and it hit Vega on the side as he tried to spin away. Vega went flying a few meters away to land on the ground...hard, and Lion, anticipating his speeder bike, leapt onto the seat as it passed by.

"Wei, Zeke, let's get him!!!!!!"

[Vega Van-Derveld]

As Vega tumbled downwards, his eyes darted to what had struck him - a bike. He grinned darkly as he pushed himself almost calmly to his feet. The Dark Jedi looked out on his prey and rose a hand, fingers becoming engulfed in a dark glow. The energy that weaved in tendrils around his fingertips took sudden form and warped to become snaking white whips. He was, evidently, generating the energy in preparation for an attack.

"Stupider? Who is the more intelligent in this situation - the man with the power, or the infidel attacking him?"

The former Sith Lord smiled thinly, taking in a deep breath as he felt a slight pain in his ribs - a few had been bruised by the fall. But it only helped to fuelled the attack he was about to unleash. The Force Lightning growing on his force arm rolled up and down his flesh and in a quick spark of violet and crimson leapt from his body to rip through the air. First striking the bike and ride in turn, then flying out to the sides to randomly strike houses, causing them to burst into flames.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion ducked himself into a ball as he flew away, tumbling, from his bike. He was maybe 20 feet in the air, and if he hit the ground wrong, he would die...simple as that.

Lion hit the ground hard enough to bounce..luckily, he had landed on his front, and he felt a rib crack, but that was all.

"...This isn't good...we need more power...."

Lion was dismayed, because his other surprise hadn't arrived yet...Lion surveyed the sky, looking for his other gift...a gift so large that even Vega wouldn't be able to destroy it.......

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei hopped up and assumed a less rigid stance. It was a more fluid type of stance, but no less stronger than the one he had previously assumed.

His Grandpa's voice rang in his ears.

(Sometimes the best way to defeat an opponent is to yield to him. Yield to his attacks.)

Wei remembered the punching bag. It had a weight in the bottom and whenever Wei would hit it, it would fall over, but would spring riht back up again.

"OK, Grandpa."

Wei charged again, but this time stopped short of connecting with Vega.

"In your face!"

Wei straightened his back and squared his shoulders. He hoped he looked as intimidating to Vega as he had been to past opponents.

[Silverback]

OOC: You guys need to stop posting so fast and give me a chance to respond, and also you need to learn to let me control my own character if you don't mind. And the werewolf as asked is 7'8 tall.

IC: Silverback toar himself from the sticky remains of the grenade,for a werewolf of his power the grenade did little damage to his flesh or mind. The werewolf was now raged beyond control, the huge claw of the giant creature swiped left smashing directly into a stone pillar supporting the roof of a building. The stone pillar was hit so hard and with so much force power the pillar cracked nearly in two and buckled under the weight of the roof threatening to collapse the entire building taking the lives of the people within also.

Silverback raised his head slowly and after taking a long breath the beast roared. The roar was so loud and so ear pounding it could be heard all over the town and put fear into every person that was in the area. As Lion hit the floor from Vega's force push, the beast was only a few meters away after advancing on the fallen Jedi and as the Jedi Lion started to recover and stand up, the werewolf was a few feet away and to angry to care less about the others, Lion did not see him from behind and was surprised by the attack that was waiting for him.

The werewolf grabbed Lion's neck from behind lifting the most foolish lightsider from the ground with little strain digging many of his talons quite deeply into the thicker parts of the Jedis neck causing a very power full pain to sweep through the Jedis body. And then as if the beast had no use for him Silverback discarded the jedi named Lion and tossed him like garbage head first into the cracked pillar with a sickening thump. The stone pillar after that hit suddenly gave way and started to fall apon the Jedi.

' Ha Ha Ha ' The wolf laughed demoncily seeing the rocks tumble down upon the padawan.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia watched as the determined Padawans held there own. Each good at what they were doing. She also knew if anything happened to any of them it would break her heart. Maia calmed her thoughts and called to the lightside. Using a force push she knocked Vega off balance and rush at her. Raising her saber high she slashed down.

"We did not feel your taint darksider only because you masked but we feel you now and that is enough."

[Zeke]

Zeke watched.

"Go Maia!"

Zeke also rushed Vega, then boosted his speed and launched himself at Silverback. He landed on the werewolf's shoulders and drew his saber.

"Teach you to mess with us!"

OOC:Silverback, all we did was throw a grenade of sticky stuff at you. Chill.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Everything went white for a second, as Lion smashed into the weakened pillar......and then, it started to fall down....

Lion was in severe pain, but he forced himself to roll out of the way of the collapsing pillar before it crushed him into Jedi soup. Every part of his body ached, and his arm hung at a weird angle...that would take some time to heal if he didn't see a jedi healer soon...but he'd been in far worse pain before...

Forcing himself up on one arm, Lion yelled:

"You may be stronger than us, but you have no real sense of honor...nor any real sense of intelligence!"

Lion ran as fast as he could, tucking his broken arm inside his cloak...Silverback would pay for this...and Vega would, too, because the cavalry had arrived...

With a massive rush of air and a tremendous crashing of trees, Lion's cruiser, the Black Dawn emerged from the forest, crushing its way through the jungle...Lion could see his friend, Jacyn, in the pilot's seat, while his other four crew members sat up in the guns and turbolasers...one of his R2 units waited for him at the lowered ramp...

...With all the strength he could muster, Lion loped towards the massive ship and ran up the ramp, closing it behind him, then threw himself into the weapon station...using the ship's loudspeaker, he announced:

"Guys, I'll be back soon...hold on, help is on the way."

Lion typed in a command as quickly as he could with only one useable hand into the weapon's board, then jammed his finger down on a red button...

And, in a split second, a concussion missile loaded into one of the Dawn's launchers and fired towards the village...the Black Dawn wheeled away and burst off at full speed towards the Academy.....

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia was thrown to the ground by the missiles that hit the village as was everyone else. Her ears rang with the explosion. Getting back to her feet she looked at the utter devastation that all of the fighting had caused. "Hurry Lion we need help here before anyone else gets hurt." She called out with the force...

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion's craft continued on, and in the distance, an explosion shook the earth...he hoped that the villagers had already been killed, otherwise he was adding more blood to the day...but the real damage hadn't come yet...he was still waiting for the sonic boom...

"Hurry Lion we need help here before anyone else gets hurt."

That was definitely Maia, calling out through the force...Lion's face was contorted with pain, but he managed to send out:

"I'm afraid I'll be too late...people are going to be hurt, but I'll hurry...we need somebody to take on these monsters..."

...and the Dawn continued on, its engines flaring blue-white as it raced on towards the academy....

Saul watched the eager young Padawan's attack after attack. His father had taught him a much calmer approach he knew that a Jedi must be of a most serious mind. Though Saul could not call forth lightning yet and doubted that he woul be able to for some time still his father's training would give him some advantages.

Concentrating on the Force he could feel its power. Running headfirst at the Werewolf Silverback he pushed him. Giving him his full attention Saul lifted him up in the air. Reaching out with the force he got Maia attention and with a nod and wink she helped Saul do what he wanted. With Maia's added strength they threw the massive Silverback into Vega tumbling them headlong into the ground.

Saul determined to end this quickly pulled out another one of his grenade's and threw it at the pair. "Now rip and tear your way out of that one."

"Oh I hope you dont kill Vega when you do that or maybe I do Im not a Jedi yet."

Saul got in a fighting stance grounding himself in the force. So that he could not be lifted. For he thought to himself that Vega would surely try to force push him away.

[Evil Hobgoblin]

The scuttling noise was masked beneath the sounds of battle.

The scuffling noise was too- then the door to the building was closed.

The squeaking of the main cut-off valve being turned back on did not escape the pipe room because of that.

Nor did the smashing of the valve lever.

Then, the door to the pipe room closed behind someone.

The lock to that room smashed itself from the inside.

And there was another scuttling noise masked by Vega's roar.

Though the Jedi could not see anyone about, they were being watched.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Out of nowhere Kindo walked in, stepping right in front of Silverback.

" Try your luck with me!"

Kindo stepped in, ready to defend his fellow Jedi.

" Lets see how well you do with me."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei wondered where everyone had came from. It seemed Kindo had arrived.

"Sorry. Swimming has been postponed. We'll try to go swimimng after we're finished here, ok?"

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Its ok. Im not in the mood for swimming anyway, not right now at least."

Kindo flipped into the air, landing near the others. He then used the Force to bring his lightsaber from his belt to his hand.

" Let's go."

He ignited the maroon saber. SNAP-HISS!

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion was in his ship, waiting...he had gotten Lance, Bar Bar Drinks, Kaytor, and Kindo to help him...

...Kindo had taken his ship, the Glory ahead, to try to rescus his friends...Lion still wished that he had gotten a knight or master to come with him...Lance was inside, looking for Master Marcus or Lion's master, Dasquian...although Xazor would be helpful, too.....she was an excellent healer....

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Vega smiled thinly as he looked forward, easily knocking back any projectiles thrown at him with a simple gesture of his hand.

"Are any of you actually trying?"

He watched the ship as it ferried back and forth, picking up and dropping off people. It appeared that the large group of Padawans considered themselves to be in trouble, so needed reinforcements. At this, he grinned.

"Cooooommmme ooooon,"

He leant back on his heels, spinning Seraphim in a quick display in front of him.

"There's houses burning and people to save, chop chop."

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo landed his ship Glory once again. He could not stand back and watch Vega Van wreak havoc on the innocent. Ki Adi was strong with the Force, and he could not wait on reinforcements. More would be dead by the time they arrived. He knew what he had to do. He contacted Lion' El in his ship.

" Lion El, you all go ahead. By the time reinforcements get here more will be dead. I must take care of this, even if I am outnumbered. I must do what I have to. May the Force be with you."

He sent that message to Lion's ship right before he began to step out of his. He approached Vega, who was now making fun of the situation, and unclipped his lightsaber from his belt, placing it in his right hand.

SNAP-HISS!

He ignited the maroon saber, letting it glow in front of Vega.

" Leave this place, you have no business here."

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Vega looked casually towards Ki Adi.

"You over estimate your power, Jedi, and under estimate me."

Within a split second Kindo was, as others had been before, lifted and tossed into the air.

"Learn your lesson. Fool you once, shame on me, fool you twice, shame on you."

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

No!

(Jubei approached, racing forward from the flame-gutted village. His white robes were spotted with burn marks and soot, and ash covered his sweat-dampened skin. He leapt skyward, intercepting his flailing padawan and allowing both to land safely on two feet. He looked to his ward, his eyes sharp with the dire seriousness of the situation)

Ki-Adi...this conflict will bear no fruit! There are still villagers trapped in the inferno. We must hurry!

(Sweat stung at his eyes and he blinked)

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Thank you Master. You are right."

He turned and looked at Vega, withdrawing his lightsaber. He clipped it back on his belt.

" You will reap what you have sowed."

He turned back towards his Master.

" Lets go! "

The two ran back to the inflamed village as fast as the Force would enhance them.

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

(Jubei ran headlong toward a thatch hut that had begun to be devoured by flame. He turned back to his pupil)

I can sense life presence in there! At least three!

(The wooden door began to be lapped by flame, its outer edges turning black in the presence of the flame. Jubei paused momentarily, summoning up the fortitude he needed to overcome the dire situation.)

Ki-Adi, keep these flames from spreading!

(Jubei bowled through the burning door, splintering it in a shower of sparks. Thick smoke billowed from within, enveloping the Jedi Knight as he dove within. For seconds that seemed like eternities, Jubei could not be seen)

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Ki Adi was meditating, concentrating in the Force. He knew it would provide a way to stop the flames. It was then when the Force put his attention on a water pump nearby. It lead from the river and had a large hose at its right side. He use the Force to bring it to him, and then mash down on a handle that let the water burst out, quenching the flames. He turned the power gauge on HIGH, causing the flames to die.

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

(Jubei burst forth from the smoky abyss, carrying two soot-covered and coughing children. He dropped to his knees, resisting the exhaustion and effects of smoke inhalation that he himself was suffering. With bloodshot eyes of determination, he looked up to Kindo)

There's one more inside! See these two to safety!

(Jubei wheezed, then steeled himself, turning back toward the inferno...

...and once again, entered. The fires in the hut were now beginning to roar, as the smoke poured out like an angry dark God)

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Stay by my side children, and everything will be ok."

He tried to assure them of safety as much as he could. They has such a horrible glare in their eyes, like their whole world had just been destroyed in the flames. Hate ran through Kindo's vains, thinking of Vega, but he knew must maintain his peace. He put his arm around the two, reassuring them of their safety. Now he awaited Jubei.

From the side of the house opposite the door, Kindo suddenly felt a swarming malevolence spring into being from nowhere. From the forest nearby, there was sudden crackling that immediately preceded the appearance of a person-sized fireball. The fireball struck the house on one side and burned its' way through to the other, coming straight at Ki-Adi.

With a roar and a crash, the hut that Jubei was still inside collapsed.

The werewolf knocked Vega clean over, though rolled sideways off of the Lupine as the grenade crashe down onto the two. It exploded and drenched the pair in some form of adhesive, looking them to the ground. As the Padawan approached, Vega simply smiled.

"Do I surrender?"

Under the layer of thick gunk, the Lupines hand formed slowly into claws.

"Do you think this is going to hold me?"

He grinned and looked up towards Saul. Beneath the glop he scratched away at the liquid-solid slowly. Then glancing downwards, applied a small amount of force pressure onto Saul, tearing him sideways. His saber blade caught Vega's chin as it tore upwards, and gashed into his face at a diagonal as the Jedi was thrown down into his own grenades reprocusions - embedding him within the surface.

By now, the werewolf Silverback had already clawed himself out, and had half done ripping Vega from his cocoon.

IC: ...the Black Dawn continued foward, its engines flaring blue white as it raced back towards the site of the battle...off in the distance, Lion could see smoke, and knew that the battle was going badly...

...luckily, Lion had brought help..a few Jedi. He wheeled his ship in a circle while he descended, killing their momentum...In a second, the Dawn would land. His gunners opened fire, raking the ground with turbolaser and blaster fire, the ramp lowered...

...and the Jedi leapt out, ready to protect their friends...

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia rushed forward as Saul was thrown in to the goo. Bending down she checked him. Maia stood up and moved toward Vega, her eyes calm and filled with sorrow. She had seen devastation before and it had been at her own familles hands. But what this darksider did was beyond comprehension. She was glad to see Master Jubie there helping with the towns people. She knew she should be doing the same. But someone had to stop the Darksiders from more attacks. She did not turn her head when she heard the house collapse. She sent a silent plea for everyone to be all right.

As she reached Vega she raised her saber high and slashed it down at Vegas head. Vega brought hers up and blocked the blow. There sabers locked and hissed. Maia stared into the eyes of evil.

:: Lance looked at lion and quickl raised his voice to surpass all the noise::

"You go ahead I'll be there in a second gotta check my weapon inventory." He says as he jumps out of the ship and kneels down putting all his weapons in front of him.

::A belt with plasma grenades all around it (5), Ragnarok, Matrix, a small dagger on his left leg only light weapons that wouldn't decrease his speed he still didn't know to who he was going to fight against but he knew and sensed something powerfull and fearfull. He then got and passed his hand through his hair then walking slowly behind them, a head-on attack wasn't what they needed right now.::

[Saul Mordeth]

Ic Igniting his lightsaber Saul started to slowly burn the goop off. Freakin Sith alway's ruining a good day. Seeing that Maia was keeping the Sith busy Saul went to help Jubei get out of the building. Concentrating on the area Saul looked for the Prescence that he felt earlier.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Having now gotten totally out of the grenade, Vega struck out with his saber at Maia. Their two blades again met in a flurry of quick shots, with sparks spraying up into the air around them. The Lupine seemed to be impassive, an indifferent look upon his face as he continued the volley. The Jedi looked so intent, so set upon her goal, and it made him smile - recalling how he felt on first fighting a Jedi Master, hopeful, yet helpless.

"What is the point of fighting me, Maia Tharrinn? You cannot hope to defeat me, and whilst you busy yourself with my blade the city burns to its foundations."

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia parried each powerful blow. Her eyes intent on the Darksider. Her heart clenched at his words knowing she should be helping the people but who would stop him from hurting more if she did not fight. "It was all a mind trick anyway, a game the darksiders played to throw you off course. She knew she could not defeat this master by herself. But she knew help would arrive soon.

"I fight you Vega because I do not want your evil to spread like a disease." She muttered as there lightsabers clashed. Maia could feel herself growing tired she called on the lightside to aid her. She needed help it would not be long before Vega got the better of her...

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Help has arrived!" Lion shouted, as he charged out of his ship, still cradling his arm...he had to find Jubei, otherwise he wasn't going to be much use in this battle...

Lion noticed Maia fighting against Vega, her face a mask of concentration, but Lion knew she couldn't win..not against such an evil creature...

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios sat back from where he'd been. He reeked... we're talkin nasty. Time to try something out, well, he already had. He was surprised to see the GJO come in full support, he sould've had that werewolf too, he'd dealt with them before, just not one that could use the force. Dios had taken the distraction as time to pull inside a house away from the fray and draw out his newest concoction made in his sink. A Ysalamiri lather. It was like black water to him... He almost couldn't see it but he could smell it. He poured it on him and instantly felt cold. Very cold. The warmthness of the force was gone. It almost felt like a hangover but worse. He walked out of the house and saw what was going on. He couldn't sense it but he saw Maia and knew she was in pain. He got angry. Very angry... Maia... in pain. Not something he had planned on in a walk to the waterfall. He drew his gun and drew out his bullets. Quickly dousing them with the force blocking liquid, he loaded them and aimed at the Sith Master he'd seen at Rama's.::

:: He fired off every round and charged forward. He'd lose every limb if it meant stopping this fight.::

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Vega rose his saber up away from block Maia to vaporize the bullets as they impaced with the blade. The Lupine smiled.

"... And you are giving yourself the disadvantage of no Force powers because...?"

A laugh escaped his lips as he looked at the Padawan; he'd covered the bullets in ysalamiri fluid. For what? That didn't make Vega inable to sense or even see them.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Jubei and Kindo continued to help the distraught villagers. All their homes and belongings were being taken away just becuase evil decided to rear its ugly head. Kindo, with two children by his side, ran to Lion El's ship. They walked inside the large vessel only to find Lion El' running around.

" Lion El', we must keep these children safe. That is a top priority at the moment."

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Ya, I got it, Kindo. I ned Jubei to fix my arm, it go pretty busted up..."

Lion turned to the two children, then said:

"Hey, guys, you'll be okay. I'll get all your burns cleaned up,and you can have some food."

He grabbed both children and threw them over his shoulder, then ran them to the small medical bay on his ship where he left them with a 2-1B medical droid.

"Hey, Jacyn, Catrina!" he yelled, addressing two of his crew..."put two turbolaser shots into that dam...I want to see if the water is on......."

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

(The hut collapsed on top of him. With a last gasp of effort, Jubei burst through the falling embers, flames lapping at the edges of his robe. His arms wrapped around a child's form like a blanket, setting the figure on the ground, as Jubei fell alongside. Exhausted and to the point of collapse, Jubei reached out with the Force, struggling to find the flicker of life within the third child, and to nourish it back into a flame.

Try as he might...he could not save them all. He felt the third child's spirit leave its home. Without the strength to continue, Jubei fell back against the ground.)

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia took advantage of the minor distraction that Vega was dealing with and used the force to push him back. Catching himself he turned to her and grinned. Maia could feel her heart loosing hope. He was just to powerful for her to take.

She felt Dios and his worry for her. "I will be all right Dios. Help the people and Jubei." She said through the force. She knew it wasn't going to be all right. That she was n danger but she didn't want him hurt. Not on account of her...

[Saul Mordeth]

Saul reached Jubei and helped him stand. What needs to be done first. Im here to help you.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo felt a disturbance in the Force. He ran back to the flaming hut where Jubei had been in. He saw Mordeth standing there, but no Jubei. He was inside! Immediatly he concentrated with all his mind, eventually lifting the hut off Jubei with the aid of the Force. Saul helped him up, and Ki fell back. His nose was bleeding from the extreme cocentration it took to Force lift the quite large hut. Kids were dying though, so bleeding or no bleeding Kindo had to keep on going. He began running to other huts.

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios had no time to listen to waht Maia had said. He was ticked off. He drew his saber and laughed. The bullets had been worth a try and the fluid too, he still had a few more toys to play with until he was finished. He held his saber in one hand and his ring in the other. He tossed it to Vega and reached inside his pocket for several more duplicates of it he thew as many as he could towards the Sith and as fast as he could too. He walked closer. He needed to be close enough. Just about there. He could well see his standing point from here. He was screwed. He charged Vega, he'd probably get thrown away but he had to do it. Had to...::

:: Lance watched from a distance everyone fighting so desperatly.....but he knew he had to enter only in a critical moment, right now he would just waste his life for naught if he would jump in...he had a plan in mind....he knew that he wasn't powerfull enough to defeat Vega....but he was gonna use something which didn't need any kind of extreme power....just waiting for the right moment Lance stayed calm at a distance.::

[Evil Hobgoblin]

In the forest nearby, a surge in Darkness could be felt again. The falling of several trees echoed over the battlefield.

The next fireball came flying from the forest at Lance, and it was easily big enough to blow a crater out of where the Jedi was standing. The thrower of the fireball had a second target, however, and this target was the turbolasers on Lion's ship.

The Jedi had a choice- stand his ground and take the fireball, or let it continue on into the ship, wreaking who knew what damage.

(ooc) Edit- just to be clear, there is only one fireball and it is on a line path that will take it through Lance's position and into the ship.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo for a second time that day, felt another great disturbance in the Force. Some sort of malvolence, evil of a great power. Another fireball! Kindo's insides served him well. He saw one heading for Lance, who was standing by preparing for attack it seemed. He sent a message through the Force to Lance about the fireball. This time Ki Adi had a plan. He ran for Lion El's ship, which he was already close too, into the main cockpit of the ship. Other pilots on the ship looked at him suprised, but he had no time to explain. He immediatly charged up the ship's shield, so that the fireball had no chance of hitting the ship.

[Zeke]

Zeke had been thrown from Silverback, and had been K.O.'ed. Now he awoke to see the situation radically changed. He launched himself at Vega, aiding Dios and Maia.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei looked around. Jedi appeared from nowhere to help fight.

"Sure am glad they came."

Wei didn't want to even think about what it would have been like to take on the two by himself.

Wei did as his master taught him and tapped into the Force. Wei needed all the extra strength he could get.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

As Maia threw him backwards and he turned to look upon her, he turned toward Dios. Watching as he threw some form of rings towards him, he hopped up into the air - at least a good 7 feet - to dodge whatever the projectiles were.

"What's this I see, young Jedi?! Your emotions getting the better of you!"

He landed with a thud and swept one hand out towards Maia and wreched her inwards towards him.

"Do I sense a little emotional tension in the air?" he barked as he swung his saber out in sharp vertical slash towards the Jedi Knight.

Zeke stood his ground, assessing the situation.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

After stopping the flaming fireball, Kindo ran towards the melee taking place at the time. Vega was good, their was no doubt their, but he couden't take all of us. Ki Adi ran behind Vega. Kindo jumped in the air and Force kicked Verald in the back of his head, sending him flying to the dirty groung below him.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei settled into the Force, feeling it grow. His emotions gave way and were brushed aside by the power he was feeling. It would not be long now.

:: Lance quickl sensed a massive energy flying towards him as he saw something blazing he didn't have anything to fear from it, fire was something that Lance was perfectly capable of stopping he watched it fly towards him and slammed his two hands together and closed them into one big fist now ready to use a strider technique he concentrated all the amount of gravity and wind around him into the front of his two joint hands as the fireball came to him it slammed the huge field of gravity and wind in front of him sand slowly vaporised a few seconds later there was nothing left, Lance didn't waste anything for this attack so he was still at his 100% of power he continued to walk slowly towards the battlefield.::


OOC: Bah Kindo that wouldn't have been possible to do all that so fast so I'm just making this look realistic, thanks anyways. ;)

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion was pissed...there was no way they were gonna lose to a dark jedi...not all of them...He quickly turned spun his seat aroun and logged in some coordinates at the weapons panel...if he had to, Lion would use the ace up his sleeve...H.A.L.O system....but that would kill everyone...he was glad Kindo had activated the shield...

But, for now, Lion had another trick...this ought to be dstracting...

Jaming his finger down at the countermeasures station, Lion sent 12 flares into the air...they made loud booming sounds, and while he had the enemy's attention, Lion punched his ship's repulsorlfts and hovered over to the village, which was burning furiously...with the openng he had, he hit another button and sent tremendous gouts of water and foam gushing from his ship's nose towards the village....and slowly, the fire's began to go out...

ooc- Kindo, you're joking right? I think some editing is in order. Three people can't even get near the dark jedi, sorry about the sith thing vega, and you seem to kick him in the back of the head. No offense or anything, it's just the possibilites are close to none here man, a master of the dark side who can vaporize bullets and you kick him in the back of the head. And Zeke, man, I think Vega was slashing at Maia, not you and the emotional thing was aimed towards her i think.

ic- :: Dios rolled as he picked up his rings, hadn't been a chance. Not with Maia so close, they wouldn't have worked, too much collateral damage anyways. He stood up in time to see Zeke approach and watch the dark jedi fight with Maia. What was he supposed to do? What? He was still cut off from his force sense for now so he'd be no good in a duel but he could still try right? For Maia. He drew his two smaller sabers and began to approach Vega and Maia as it seemed to rain out of nowhere.::

Zeke cheered as Lion's ship began to douse the village.

"Go Lion!"

Lion was glad...he just hoped he could find Kindo and Jubei under all that foam...still, he was glad the fires were out...now, where had those fireballs come from? All he knew were that they had emerged from the forest, and trees didn't make fireballs, as far as he knew...

...if he had to, he could use the H.A.L.O system...it stood for (H)ighly (A)dvanced (L)ocking (O)rdanance system, and unleashed a salvo of almost 120 missiles and torpedoes on from anywhere to 100 different targets...of course, that much firepower would probably kill his friends, disintegrate much of the forest, not to mention that it cost almost a monthly income to reload....

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia cried out as Vega jerked her to him. The assault was not only in body but in mind. She was helpless in his clutches and knew it. She swung her saber but was instantly held still in the vice like grip of the dark Jedi's power.

"Go back please Dios. He is to strong." She cried out with the force. If he was hurt due to her it would tear her heart out. She tried to look for Zeke and ll of her friends they all meant so much to her. "Leave them be Vega."

[Zeke]

Zeke, having decided the others were doing well in fighting Vega (or at least as well as their skills allowed) charged the Hobgoblin.

"Gotta stop ol' fireslinger before he lights the place on fire...again..."

Zeke was resigned to getting hammered, but what else could he do? He kept his body low, saber behind him and to his right.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

ooc- Hey Dios, no editing will be done by me. Vega could have easily been distracted by the other padawans to be kicked, and Zeke has done nothing wrong either. And who said Vega was undefeatable? He isn't a god you know! And Lance, thanks for the heads up, but yours sound worse than mine.

ooc- i meant no offense, I was just trying think it real, we aren't even knights yet, Maia and the few others might be above us, but unfortuanately I'm still a padawan and I have no real strong force abilities. Vega isn't a real god but to us he's got a good running mark for it. lol.

ic- :: Dios heard her, he could almost sense her, some o the force blocking liquid was coming off. He could sense her pain for him. He didn't want her in any worse a situation. He would save her. He swore to it. He kept his sabers level as he approached. It was just like fighting a vampyre before. Super evil being with some power that Dios had no way of stopping. But yet he had a chance. He hoped.::

As he rose back upwards to his feet from the kick he'd received, re-locking the Force hold onto Maia, Vega smiled down to her. It seemed genuine at first, but on second glance was serpentine and sickly almost.

"I should leave them be? Tell me, light bringer, who is charging into our duel and interupting it with pety kicks and nicks at my cloak?"

The Force grip he had placed upon Maia loosened, as he stepped backwards from her, allowing a moment for the Jedi to catch her breath. It was only then that he took notice of Dios.

"Drinks? I came here for a duel, not to knock back shots with some up start Padawan. Now leave us."

He turned back to Maia, wolf-like cyan eyes focusing upon her and disregarded all else transpiring around him. Mentally, he noted the Hobgoblins movements, and the Padawan's around him - the Force to him acted now as a radar, showing vaguely where everyone was. Seraphim swung loosely to rest in a lightweight guard over his body as he spoke.

"Tharrinn, perhaps your friends will tend to their duty now, and leave us to our own devices. We both know that their efforts are futile, it is only you who stand a chance, you who have the ability... the power..."

:: His saber the drinking angel was drawn and he prepared for whatever came next. He really wanted this fight. he wanted to drop this guy and finish this whole mess. He could feel the holy water in his veins. Renewing his strength, he wouldn't tire easy now. The liquid had almost entirely wore off. His sense was back and he waited for Vega to answer.::

This was all mildly amusing. Seeing the Jedi run around trying to save villagers and also battle Sith. Underneath my steel helm, my face was in a smile. It did me good to see Jedi being put to good and pointless exercise. There was a lot of pyrotechnics going off as I walked towards the village, my Force Pike in one hand and a unlit lightsabre in the other. So much so that I had to blink occasionally to shield my eyes from the glare. Right now iw as unnoticed as I apporached, but I supposed that would change soon.

Ahh, and then I would truly be amused. It would do me even more good to dismember one or two of these pathetic weaklings.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

"More than I bargain for?!"

His body whipped around, saber flailing out to the side as his free hand wretched outwards. Dio was torn into the air as a lock was set around his throat. The enraged gaze of the darkside focused fully upon his as he grit his teeth, the elongated canine fangs that lined his upper row of teeth seeming to extend.

"YOU! I told you to go!"

The young over confident Padawan was whipped backwards through the air, his body shooting through the air at abominable speeds. This done, Vega turned on Maia once more, his chest rising and falling quite visibly now as his breaths had become more quickly paced.

"Senseless suicidal fools! This.. is.. my fight.."

He turned, his glazed with a demented look for a moment as he looked upon the other assembled Jedi. Another had arrived, darker in signature, more powerful than the others, though his mind was yanked quickly away from musing on the armour-clad one.

"Maia," he barked, "Fight me now! This is your chance,"

Seraphim slashed downwards of its own accord, apparently controlling itself as its tip cut against the rocks below it.

"Your moment of glory!"

:: Lance was near the batttlefield now he could see all of them fighting so desperatly against Vega, it seemed they could barely approach him Lance observed for a few second to scan Vega's basic fighting stance and leaned against a tree arms crossed focused on the force to sense anything coming towards him or bad intentions given by others, his eyes were paralized on Vega waiting for the right moment to strike.::

:: Dios got back up. The great thing about these bad guys is that they always tried to choke him. Choke choke! that's all! They'd figure out sooner or later that Dios didn't bother with breathing half the time. Holy water kept him up. He'd almost been knocked out by the throw though. He stood up and ran to Vega again.::
You wuss. Swing your flimsy little saber over here and fight me! I'm like a cockroach okay, I'm gonna keep comin back.
Now let's duel and quit turnin me away. I don't care what you say. I plan on kicking your butt. We don't want glory buffoon. We want peace. Now hand it over.
:: Dios had to reignite his saber again, seeing how it'd gone off after the lanch. He charged Vega this time. He'd throw himself against this metal wall as many times as it took for him to get it done.::

[Bar Bar Drinks]

Bar Bar had been sitting in a gunner's postion on Lion's ship, but found he could shoot no enemy without also hitting a friend.

"Meesa helpin' da villagers. They needin' rescuin', meesa thinks." He jumped from the ship, using Silverback to break his fall and dashed toward one of the smoldering buildings.

OOC:Venom, Vega is a Dark Jedi, not a Sith, and you will dismember no one. There is to be no maiming for killing of people unless the character's controller allows it.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

After kicking Vega, which did lttle good, he spotted Lance eyeing the melee. He secretly got over to where Lance was, no one seeing him as he did so.

" Lance, if you jump out to attack be careful. He will catch you by suprise and hurl you in the air."

Kindo continued through the distance to finally approach his ship. On the left side of his ship there was a hole, almost unoticable. He spoke into the hole a secret password, and a 4ft. panel opened up. It contained a belt that held a blaster. He put on the belt, the blaster to his right side. He ran back to the battle, but diffrent. In one hand his maroon lightsaber, and on his right side on his belt a blaster. He rarely used blasters, but it might come in handy this time. He walked over to where Vega held Maia.

" Are you afraid to take on a man or do you recieve your joy by hurting women."

Kindo knew Maia was strong, and he was not sexist, Vega had some nerve hurting her nonetheless.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

His gaze turned eastward as Dios charged on him, whilst Kindo approached also. Simply drawing in a breath, he closed his eyes.

"It seems, Jedi, that this women is more of a challenge than your or any of your male friends... I prefer a challenge against a..."

Dios was, suprisingly, knocked off his feet and slammed back against a tree once more. Vega's eyes flicked open.

"... push over."

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei opened his eyes. Now was the time.

"EVERYONE STOP THIS SENSELESS VIOLENCE!" Wei shouted.

Wei stood up and walked over to Vega, calmly and purposefully. Wei got right up in Vega's face.

"Me and you. Sit down and talk. Now." Wei's voice was stern. It didn;t matter who this guy was or his rank. Vega was a Dark Jedi, and that meant that whatever he was doing to the town, he had a good reason. Wei was going to find out that reason.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia cried out as Dios was flung back against the tree. She could feel her heart trying to grow angry and stopped it in its tracks. Calling to the lightside for peace. Standing up she looked at Vega. "There will come a time darksider that you will answer for your crimes, it may not be now but it will come." Maia said softly her eyes sad. Thoughts of her brother filled her mind.

Igniting her saber with a snap-hiss she charged forward. Slashing down at the preoccupied Vega. Her saber was met by his. There arms blurred in movement as they battled. "I may not win this Vega but I don't think you will walk away unscathed either." She sad as she swung down and around clipping a gash in his side...

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei was flung to one side as Maia charged. So much for talking. Wei's felt horrible. Everyone was running around and fighting and trying to save people...Everyone was trying too hard.

"I just want this to be over with."

Wei got to his feet and threw himself forward, using the forward momentum to run toward a burning house. there were cries coming from that house. Sounded like a baby.

"I'm coming little one."

Wei entered the building and son emerged holding a baby in his arms. He forgot about swimming. He just wanted to go home.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

He hissed breathlessly as he side stepped. A sharp glance down at where the Jedi's saber had connected to his body and he drove his own saber blade forward at Maia, subtly nudging the lightsiders feet as she moved to try causing her steps to become unsteady as he hooked Seraphim around in a slicing arc at her midsection.

[Anbira Hicchoru]

:: All looked back, as a figure went flying through the air, seemingly launched from the epicenter of the village. The beast known as Silverback landed in a crumpled heap at Vega's feet. His hulking, furred frame contorted painfully, joints straining as his body was twisted around by an unseen force, writhing on the dusty ground in front of his master.

Vega's reckoning had arrived, constant as a force of nature. ::

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Instantly, he whipped around to look to the direction from which the werewolf had been thrown. His movements were jagged now, and the turn itself looked as if it had been induced by a sharp stab to his flesh - thus, he leapt backwards away from Maia as his focus shifted. The frown that had been furrowed into his brow finished at the sight he beheld.

"Anbira."

It was evident by his total disregard of Maia, now, that he had found much more interesting things to do - and play with.

"At last ... I imagined you'd be here sooner."

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia grimaced and dug her heels in. Trying to move forward against his force push. As he swung his saber toward her she turned to the side barely getting out of reach of the deadly blow. It would have laid her open, instead it sliced into her side. Maias hand went to her side as she tried to staunch the blood flow. calling on the force to mask her pain. She was loosing blood rapidly from the deep wound... She raised her saber in defiance, it would end soon...

[Anbira Hicchoru]

:: Anbira levitated over the charred village, his hands spread at his sides as he approached the Lupine darksider. He released Silverback from the vice-like grip of his manipulation, as he lowered to the ground, feet gently coming to rest as he looked ahead at his foe. ::

Once more unto the breach, Vega?

:: Anbira's eyes closed, his eyebrows rising as he sensed something new within his destined adversary. ::

Ah...you have changed, my friend.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

It was as if the Jedi's presence caused him to become more lethargic about the whole situation. His saber fell to his side, and head became canted as he offered a questionning smile towards Hicchoru.

"Have I? And how, pray tell, have I changed?"

[Zeke]

Zeke stopped in his charge against the Hobgoblin, mesmerized by the exchange between Anbira and Vega.

"Duuude...neato..."

Zeke watched in a daze.

[Anbira Hicchoru]

You have taken the first steps in defiance against the Sith.

It is only a matter of time, before you must face the truth.

"I disregard the Sith not because of a new found love for the lightside, but for a deeper knowledge within the darkside."

Vega smirked faintly.

"Of the two of us, friend, it is you who denies truth. Blinding myself with delusions is not something I indulge in freely, though I do not believe I can say the same about you and your so called philosophies and preconceptions of me."

Wei clutched the baby close to him. There was someone new. Anbira, he was called. Wei watched and smiled. This man knew much more about the Force. Wei sighed in relief. Maybe this madness would finally end.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

"What doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger. Each time I encounter you, I learn more of you and your own weaknesses... I may not hold the key to your undoing yet, but mark my words - I will do soon,"

He took on a more serious expression now too, mimicking the Jedi.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo turned off his lightsaber and put his blaster back in it's holster. His eyes lite up has he saw the Jedi Master approach Vega Van. It was the father of Kindo's master, Anbira Hicchoru. He had seen him a couple of times before when he approached the Council, but never in live action. He could sense this man had a deep knowledge and understading of the Force. After withdrawing his weoponry he walked near the confrontation and listened.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion finally ran out of his ship and watched in a daze as Anbira crushed Silverback...he even forgot about the pain in his arm...

"Whoa....awesome...."

Then, his arm sent a searing pain and Lion resumed his search for Jubei, slogging through the water and foam soaked ground...

(ooc: Where there's smoke, there's fire, where there's Jubei, there's Anbira...:lol.)

:: Lance forceran towards Maia now not worried of the opponent since Anbira was here and there were enough men to take care of them he looked Maia's wound and stayed silent for a few seconds.::

"Damnit...I'm not a healer......we need a healer..."He said with a calm voice he has always learnt to stay calm in these situations he sent a force message to all the other padawans asking them if anyone can come up with a solution for this problem quickly.::

Kindo ran towards Lance after recieving his message. He knew Anbira would have little trouble taking care of Vega.

" Lance, I have an idea. With our combined Force skills we can heal Maia, but it might take one more padawan. If we are to do this we must work toghether."

Kindo knew this would work. Nothing is stronger than a team that works toghether.

[Wei Wu Wei]

The situation was getting to be a bit confusing for Wu Wei. He looked around and turned his attention to the baby.

"Hello little one."

The baby smiled and kicked his feet. At least there was one human who was feeling happy.

[Venom]

There was the sound of a footfall behind the Jedi who were grouped - and the ignition of a lightsabre.

"No..... I believe Jedi are best in a group when they die together"

With the mace (Not pike, my bad) in one hand and sabre in the other, staniding at over 230 cm in height with a frame to match, gold-silver burnished steel armour flickering with reflected light, I would look a sight.

"Which one of you cowards would be first, I wonder? Ahh, it mattes little. Death shall come to you all today"

"Just shut up!!!!!!!" He said with a force enhanced voice.

"What the hell are you doing here your momma's waiting for ya she made some warm cookies." He said as he stepped up and called Matrix to his hand, it was time to fight he didn't know exactly with what he was against but he was going to fight simply to defend the others, a thought came to his mind If only Anakin was here He said as he pressed to ignition button of Matrix, a blue blade snapped out.

SNAP-HISSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:: The glow os Matrix was brighter and seemed stronger then ever, Lance didn't know why this was happening....but he didn't care at the moment the only thing that mattered was this....Venom.::

"Alright....you ugly guy bring it on!!!!!" He said as he spun Matrix around and stood ready preparing a qick tactic to start this off.

Easy to respond to. I pointed the mace at this Jedi wo tried to challenge me and with the Force picked him up and threw him into a wall of one of the burning buildings.

I wasn't here to talk and waste my breath with pathetic and childish insults. I was here to destroy.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo stepped foward and approached Venom. This one was weak, and he was flaunting more than he had.

"You have no buisness here, leave."

He Force jumped foward and kicked Venom in the chest.

Poor misguided Jedi. He thought one like me would not see his kick coming, especially after he issued a challenge? And more foolish considering my mace was in front of me. The mace was swung, intercepting the oncoming Jedi and knocking him flying away.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wu Wei watched as Lance and Kindo took on the strange man with the mace. he would have gone to help, but he was bound by the responsibility of caring for the baby until his parents arrived.

"Hang in there guys," he whispered.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

After Kindo got up from being knocked into a tree, he took out his maroon lightsaber, ignited it, and held it to his front.

" We have no time for your challenges. People are dying has we speak. Now leave!"

[Dios Kane]

:: dios didn't have time to fight anyone now. he only cared about Maia right now. As the ther two had turned away, Dios had come upon Maia and her wound. She would die without help. That... dark jedi... Dios didn't have time to worry about that. He got next to Maia and extended his index finger. The finger nail slowly twisted out to a claw. He used the sharp nail to cut his own wrist open. His blood came out a greyish red. He stung but for only a moment. He had a major headache but he hoped that would go away eventually. His blood slowly slipped off the wound, it seemed to not want to leave Dios, it slowly dripped onto Maia's wound. Dios' blood was almost pure holy water, almost. It would take longer to heal then the real thing but it would do the trick. He let it flow from his arm and onto the wound. He only hoped it would kick in sooner than later.::
Maia, this will feel like I just set your wound on fire but bear with me. The holy water in my blood will heal the wound quickly.
:: He looked over in time to see his surroundings. He wanted Vega, wanted him... He had to stay away from such thoughts. He Had to think of Maia now. He had to think of some way from keeping her from dying. He figured he had a way to take her mind off it though. He leaned into her. Inches above her face.::
I'm here, and I'm not hurt. And you aren't either... trust me.
:: Right as the holy water began to sizzle on the wound and Dios saw it starting to mend, he leaned in and kissed her. When it stopped sizzling he leaned away and waited. He'd have to gaurd her while the others fought, he saw Vega and the one in armor, but Silverback and the other one in his sense were no where to be seen.::

:: Lance was thrown away but didn't actually hit the wall focusing the force to stop this blow Lance slided in the ground but managed to stop right in front of the burning wall then spinning Matrix he started running towards Venom his other blade on his back he backflipped towarded him and force jumped into the air so he couldn't forceblast him his principal goal was to evaluate his basic stance and to lurk in his defenses. Now in the air he used the force to come back to the ground like a meteor his blade down he slashed down at him with a huge power which wouldn't be stopped by a small hit, everything was done while Kindo distracted him to give Lance even more impact.::

"You should be careful with that. You could put someone's eye out with that thing."

Zeke leapt in from behind Venom, sitting on his shoulders, and throwing him with a sharp backflip. He reached into his pocket and found his second saber: the glitched one. He turned it on and faced Venom as he landed.

"Heeeere he comes to save the daaaay!"

Zeke's grin was grim, but at least his sarcastic wit was working.

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios smirked as Zeke made his battle cry. He hoped he got that tin can. He didn't feel like being on the losing side of the battle today.::

Zeke made a few flourishes, continuing to joke, even in the face of danger.

"Care to lend a hand Dios?"

Zeke was remembering the huge spar they'd had. If they could beat the crap outta each other that bad, they'd be nigh-unstoppable on a team.

A Jedi, even a Dark Jedi had a sese when they were to be attacked, It was sort like seeing partially in the future,w hich is why after I dealt with one Jedi, I could "feel" another flying at me. My mace swung and swatted the arcobatic Jedi out of the air.

[Zeke]

OOC: Okay, that just negated my last 2 posts, but whatever. Venom, are you Sith or Dark Jedi? And what rank are you?

IC: "OW!"

Zeke rolled back and sprang back up. He was a resilient one.

"Ooh, I'm so cool! I have a big mace thing!"

Zeke taunted Venom.

"Is that saber for show or what?"

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo flipped in to the air and landed directly in front of Venom, slashing his saber against that mace of Venom. He then slid down the sbaer against the mace until it slashed Venom's arm. He then swiped his legs from under him with a kick.

[Maia Tharrinn]

Maia groaned softly. Her face grew pale. Se knew she was on the ground but didn't know how she had managed to get there. She closed her eyes and the world around her dimmed. She heard Dios calling to her, seemed so far away. She could feel something dripping on her. Then pain, white hot pain and Dios's lips on hers.

Her eyes snapped open and she cried out into his kiss but no sound was made. As the pain began to lessen she closed her eyes again. Raising her hand she touched his cheek. "Now you are truly part of me." She could feel him his thoughts his worry. She tried to tell him she would be ok. Perhaps he knew she would already. Then cool darkness settled and faded the burning in her veins...

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei watched the events unfold. Suddenly, the baby began to cry.

"What's wrong, little guy?"

Wei soon had his answer. A foul smell existed around him.

"Oh, I see."

Wei set the baby on the ground in front of him and proceeded to remove the dirty diaper. Wei bundled it up and set it aside. Luckily, the baby had a blanket. That would have to suffice as a diaper for the time being.

Wei wrapped it aroudn the baby's bottom and picked up the dirty diaper.

"I can help out the guys now!"

Wei threw the diaper at Venom with all his might. It sailed throught the air, leaving behind it a trail of awful stink. The daiper finally landed in Venom's face.

"Take that!" Wei laughed.

The baby made gurgling sounds and smiled at Wei.

"You liked that too, huh?" Wei tickled the baby gently under the chin.

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios made sure she was okay then made a circle around her with the rings, safe enough away but someone wouldn't notice if they got close enough. He then preceeded to the opponent in armor. This would be fun, Dios drew his saber and approached the tin can with caution. The mace was deadly but a saber seemed to out match it any day. Drinking Angel's orange blade leveled with the man and Dios waited, watching as the others, Zeke, Lance, and Kindo, made their attacks. He'd wait his turn.::

:: Dios didn't have time to bother with Venom. hje ran back and threw a ring into the air and let it explode. He meant for it to be a distress beacon for anyone else out there that might help him. He picked up Maia and figured he'd get her outta there if it was the last thing he did.::

Kindo ran over to Dios after knocking down and cutting Venom, who was running with Maia.

" We can get Maia out of her on my ship Glory. It has Auto-Pilot to any destination in the galaxy. The Naboo built this for me 4 years ago has a sign of friendship with my planet. We can set it for the Jedi Center, let her go, and finish this battle once and for all!"

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion noticed Dios running across the battlefield as fast as he could, carrying Maia. Behind him, fireballs were scorching after him and the newcomer was in pursuit, clearly intent on dragging down Dios and Maia...

"Well, nuts to that!" Lion said, and he powered up a quad turbolaser. His crew members layed down a literal wall of green turbolaser blasts right behind Dios, making sure that he would get to Kindo's ship safely.

"Good luck, Dios!" Lion said through the intercom....

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios turned and almost flew to the ground as the rain of lasers came down, but then he heard lion and started running again as he spoke to Kindo.::
Sounds good to me. Just follow the yellow brick road... oh never mind.
:: He let Kindo lead him through the wall of green. Dios would have thought it beautiful under other circumstances.::

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

They finally approched Kindo's ship. Kindo pressed a button and a small flight of stairs cam down off the left side of the ship. He then spoke a command and the top glass opened up. It was a nice comphy seat, so at least Maia would go home comfortable. He crawled up in his ship and begin typing in the destination on the Auto Pilot. Everything was ready.

" You go from here Dios."

[Severen Morkonis]

A few feet away from the on going battle, Sieken the Sith Knight woke slowley to find himself on the floor covered in litter and ash with a few bits of timber and such across his body. The Knight pushed them back in pain actually, a nasty gash had torn its way down his right thigh pretty badly, in fact a pool of blood was covering the said floor.

Sieken pulled himself free of the debri with the aid of a pole and launched himself into a standing position hoping slight due to the pain. The village was on fire, flames burnt from the roof tops and windows like the fires of hell had just burst open. Women and men, children alike were running in fear of a few men standing in the middle of this whole thing.......Vega.

Sieken quickly and without hesitation force pushed a large chunk of wood clear out off his way so it could move toward the Dark Jedi so he could try and attack the blonde defector. Without fail however there was something bigger going on here, and the few Jedi that were around would catch his attention first. Sieken instantly went for his green saber Lousourus but it was not there, in fact all he had on was a t-shirt and black boxer shorts.

' Where the hell am i dammit?' He yelled to Vega as if through the fighting he could hear him.

Sieken made an effort at least to attack the Jedi and he started his approach to the battle dragging his injured leg with him.

' Gimme a saber NOW damn it Vega!' He demanded only a few feet from the Dark Jedi.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Without turning from Anbira, he had uttered the words he needed for Sieken to become a part of this. His free hand scooped up Tarot, a red saber, from his belt, and pushed it out into the hands of the Sith Knight. He grinned somewhat.

"There's some Padawans,"

He rose his free hand, gesturing about.

"That you can deal with Sieken. One is a Knight, the others are all a doddle. Have yourself some fun."

[Venom]

This was all becoming confusing - but with a small pause to reassess, it was obvious what was happening - the Jedi were running. Now, this rather disappointed me, for I was here not to have this.

There was one ship in the air and another ship on the groud. Logicall,y the one in the air would stay put if the one onthe ground was just so happened to be disabled. Hmmm, now how to do that? I grinned inside my helmet, for I had the perfect disabler in hand. What would stop this?

I gather the Force to me and focused my anger on the ship on the ground. My mind sought out the perfect target... I drew my arm back and cast the weapon, using the Force to guide it''s path..... smoothly and without fuss straight into an engine inlet. I could only imagine the damage that did and how it would render flight rather difficult. The sabre burst out the other side, and with my mind control, urged it back to my hand.

:: Lance watched as the Mace came towards him and smiled lighty pushing him-self leftwards quickl to slide his lightsaber against Venom's back right behind the mace he then sorted out Ragnarok from his back and added another red line to Venom's letting out a red cross on his back. The mace was still there getting swung and Lance got knocked away brutally but then got up. He had left 2 long scars on Venom's back, he was a darksider he had heard they couldn't use ano healing techniques, this was an advantage all of the padawans should be aware of, he sent a force message to all of them ::

Padawans....calm down...we must work as a team....we gotta come up with a strategia...I say we take out that mace...which of you can do that?

There had been a distress call made in the Jedi's Bar and Grill, stating that there were villagers under attack and also Jedi in danger. While it was not normal for myself to respond to such, there had been a passing feeling that I should go as well - hence I had commandeered a shuttle with crew, to follow the co-ordinates to a place where smoke could be seem billowing from buildings. As I looked out the window, I saw that there seemed to be a continuing fight, with what appeared a flamethrower of some sort being used, as well as a group seemingly moving about in the chaos of a fight. It was more the villagers that were worrying myself and I raised a set of macrobinoculors to my face, getting a better view. Dispassionantly, I looked down on the scene, looking at whom I could recognise and seeing who the combatants were. I caught sight of flashing glints moving in the sun and I trained the eyepieces to it.

I stayed staring for a number of seconds, my mind kicking to high gear. Unfamiliar dress sense, but too large for a normal human, with a sabre and a polearm of some kind. There was one whom I knew favoured that, but had I not killed him a year ago? I looked again, deciding that indeed, it was whom I thought it was. The Jedi on the ground were creully outmatched and I knew it. Seeing the bulk, I knew there was but one choice. I too was in armour, the blood red of an Imperial Royal Guard, minus the helmet. I had my sabre and I had my Pike.

"Set the shuttle down" I ordered the pilots.

"Right away Commander Cross!"

As they decended as fast as possible, I loosened up. Venom was a fierce challenge last time and would be again - but he would have the scars of our last meeting and I was a Jedi now as well. I had grown in the Force.

And so he would find out shortly. The shuttle landed on the far end of the village, protected by buildings and natural formations from the fighters. It would give me cover, to keep my presence unknown until I chose to reveal myself and challenge Venom face to face

:: Lance got up and cleared the dust out of his cloths, he knew there was a chance for them to defeat Venom by working together when suddenly he felt a strong force signature...he had felt it once..but he wasn't sure if it was really her.::

Kindo was helping Dios get Maia in the ship when he saw a another ship begin to land. Something about this told him it was a Jedi. He sensed something in it that gave sign of help. This was excellant news for the struggling padawans who were striving to help those hurt.

:: Dios had no time to look around at the new presence. He placed Maia in the ship and put a hand on her head.::
So much for the waterfall huh? Kindo, gaurd her for now will ya? Try and get her to Lion's ship, the tin can just wasted your engine. I'm gonna go help Lance, please get Maia outta here safely. I don't care what you do, fight or run.
:: He had heard Lance though and he figured that he had a chance with Venom's mace now. He ran forward with the drawn saber. He drew his gun right before he reached Venom and fired off a few rounds before entering with his saber.::

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo, who was extremely pissed about his now messed up engine, put Maia over his shoulder and began heading for Lion's ship. Has he ran he couden't help but watch the melee taking place. After 10 minutes of running, thay finally approached Lion's ship only to meet Lion El there.

" Get her to a safe place on your please. I believe she also needs medical attention. "

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei sat the baby up and bounced him on his knee.

"Well, someone else has joined in huh?" He said softly to the baby.

The baby gurgled and grabbed Wei's bangs, pulling as hard as it could.

"OW! Hey, let go now." Wei's voice remained calm and quiet as he released his hair from the infant's tight grasp.

The baby made another grab at Wei's hair. Wei gently grasped the baby's hands in one of his and used his free hand to ticke the baby's sides. The baby giggled and shifted to get away from the tickling.

"You are such an awesome little kid."

[Lion El' Jonson]

"...you got it, Kindo. How's she doing?" Lion asked as as he slung Maia over his shoulder and began carrying her to the medical station on his ship, which was already filled with kids and adults with injuries...

...Lion carried Maia over to an air-cushion bed and placed her on it while he tried to work the bacta-tank. Finally, after a few minutes, Lion managed to get the machine powered up. He lifted up Maia and placed a breath-mask over her mouth, and then placed her in the tank as gently as he could. She groaned a bit...she must be in a lot of pain.

Actually, most people here must be in a lot of pain...two men were sitting on the Air Beds, the warm currents keeping them levitated and preventing them from damaging their burned skin. A group of kids that Jubei and Wei had rescued were runing through his ship's corridors...kids....

Walking alongside Kindo back to the ship's bridge, he said:

"Don't worry 'bout Glory, any tech at the academy can fix it...I'll do it, if you want me to...how did Maia get so injured?"

Then, Lion remembered something else...

"Who the hell is that new guy with the mace? He's pissing me off, a bit..."

Lion locked onto the man, who was running around attacking padawans with his mace, and tapped in a command. Three turbolasers and a slew of laser cannons targeted on him, and began spitting a literal barrage of laser fire...he was hit at least once, and if he was hit by one of the turbolasers, they'd be lucky to find all the pieces...

[Zeke]

Zeke stood his guard, wary of Venom and Lion's shooting. They were forgetting someone...Hobgoblin. Zeke dropped into the Force, seeking the dark prescence. Until he found the fireslinger, he'd have to do his best against Venom. But then there was the other guy that had appeared...oh decisions, decisions...

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" I would really appreciate it if you would fix my ship, but these kids are our first priorities. Sorry, but I must run and help the others."

Kindo started running, as he was running meditating and building up energy. After a few minutes he finally he arrived and removed his blaster from it's holster. He then fired some shots at Venom, all missing but one that hit the side of his leg. It did little damage but packed some pain. He went and stood over by Lance and Dios.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Suddenly, the baby began to cry. Wu Wei rocked him gently.

"Oh, what's the matter?" Wei held the baby close and began to sing "Jesus Loves Me."

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

Kindo was standing next to Lance and Dios, watching the dark figure ahead of them. It was then he realized that he should probably go back and see what his Master would have him do. He began running back to where he last seen Jubei, over in the village. Has he was running he noticed the damage done by the Dark Jedi, and it made him ache inside, but that only encouraged him to strive harder. He fed off that determination. After a few minutes he finally saw his Master and approched him, out of breath.

" Master, what would you have me do. Alot is going on, and I am a bit lost on where I need to be."

He had confidence in his Master's decisions.

[Venom]

I feel something... a presence.....

The sabre landed back in my hand before one of the Jedi fired at me, using the Force to feel where the blots were aimed, they were deflected away. Now seeing the Jedi regrouping, I made myself ready to fight when I felt the Force tingle again

MOVE!

Without question I did, the place I was standing a moment before becoming cut ul with blaster fire from the flying ship. (OOC : It is not good to describe success unless it is certain. Leave a degree of uncertainly if there would be any in fairness and a Padawan sohould be able to feel the danger I have), moving as fast as I could out of the blast range. Anger on my mind, I began to plan how to deal with these Jedi. Mace and sabre ready, I slid to a stop, mind ready and anger growing, feeling the power of the dark Side growing in me.

I felt that presence... an familiar one - a strong one. Who it was, I did not not know, but ..... it felt I should

With a bellow of pure fury, I pointed at a wall and with the Force, strained. For a second it trembled and them with an enormous ang, the stones spilt apart, flying at the grouped Jedi

"Fortune has prevented my demise? Destiny?"

Vega scoffed, his shoulders rising spasmically as he laughed to himself.

"Fate does not dictate my actions, I defy it, as I defy you. My life will not end here and now, I'm not finished with life yet..."

The Dark Jedi grinned.

"I haven't had the chance to dance on your grave as of yet, I couldn't possibly pass up the chance of doing that."

' Jubei SaDherat Vader, what a pleasent surprise.' the Sith Knight began, speaking from behind the Jedi Knight.

' It always amazes me to find such foolish idiots around this place to fight, you would have thought...you..a man with the name of Vadar would be more intelegent...pitty you never took after your parents!' He said with a evil grin sweeping his face.

The red blade of Siekens borrowed saber "Tarot" slid with speed from the hilt of the saber with the common snap-hiss, the red glow bouncing from Siekens face giveing him a slightly demonic look.

' Shall we?' Sieken said with a rude, and sercastic tone gesturing with his free hand. ' Oh and by the way...dont give me a speech on the Jedi and there good qualities..im rearly not intrested.' He grinned

:: Lance put him-self in his fighting stance when he suddenly saw a certain change in Venom's expressiong breathing, that's when he guessed who the force signature was...he guessed it now and knew that person wasn't far.::

::Saying those words he force speeded towards the blazing village jumping in like a burst of water, he quickly rolled down on the floor and broke through a house's flamming door elbow headed up and saw a family terrorised by the flames who were going nearer and nearer them to devour the poor people, Lance used the air gathering technique to exhaust the amount of fire in front of them.::

"The Jedis there here!!!!" The two parents said with a voice of hope.

"Take the children!!! Let us die here but let them live!! They are the futur we have outlived our purpose." They said yelling behind the flames

:: Lance shook his head as jumped off to the spot they were and took the two children in his arm.::

"I'll come back for you all......I promess" He said force speeding out he ran to the other side of the village where no sith no dark jedi was as he put them in a safe spot he ran back into the village and saw a dark one he didn't have time to stop and help the Jedi Jubei to fight the sith knight his only goal was to save those people he ran desperatly stoping by every house taking the children and putting them back in a safe spot after an hour he had barely found 5 or 6 children each time he would come back for the parents the houses would already be burnt down and he was getting exhausted he couldn't go any further the flames were going up it was getting nearly impossible to save more people when suddenly he heard a loud cry in a nearby house.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei stood up. He had played around long enough. He really didn;t want to return to the fight, but it was his duty. He spotted Bar Bar.

"Bar Bar, hold this. Do not drop him, or hurt him. Just hold him and if you can, get him someplace safe."

Wei turned to help his fellow padawans rescure the rest of the villagers.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Kindo, who was standing by Jubei, turned to face the Sith. His eyes let off a certain glare, one that pierced the deepest of minds. He walked a little closer to the Sith, but not going to far from his Master.

" Why are you here? Lives are disapearing like bunnys out of hats and all you want to is fight? Their are many of us here, and it would be a waste of my time and yours. "

Kindo looked over the Sith's head, spotting Lance head there location. He turned back to the Sith.

" Their is not much you can hit us with today that we have not already had. Ive been thrown, cut, bruised, slammed, and many other pains. My biggest one though was watching these kids lose everything, even lives. We will not let that happen again."

[Zeke]

Zeke had yet to find Hobgoblin. Maybe the thing was gone? He assessed the situation. Anbira was fighting Vega...sorta. Helenias was about to fight Venom. Leaving Sieken confronting Kindo and maybe Lance. There it is. He approached that fight.

"Kindo! Let's wipe the floor with him so we can all go home!"

[Bar Bar Drinks]

Bar Bar handed off the baby to an escapee and approached Lance.

"Meesa helpin' yousa. Soona we get diss'n done, da soona we can end da crunchin'."

He burst into another house, seeking its residents. A startled cry came from ahead of him. Two adults and 3 kids were trapped in the center of the room, the roof collapsing about them. For the hundredth time since his birth, Bar Bar praised the Gungan agility and jumped through the obstacle course of burning wreckage. He put two children on his shoulders and ferried them to the door. Next, the wife and other child. He turned for the husband...and the roof collapsed upon him. Bar Bar cursed and led the rest of the family to Lion's ship. He watched the darksiders as he went, studying their technique so he could back up his friends better. When he was done here...he'd make sure they feared the Gungan race.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei heard a man and a woman shouting in another burning building.

"My Baby! Where is my baby?" The woman wailed.

We turned and burst intop the building.

"Ma'am? I'm here to help! I found your baby!"

Wei focused on the Force and lifted the two parents over his shoulders and ran out of the building and toward the ship.

"Your baby is in the ship, ma'am." Wei gave the two a quick courtesy bow and ran off to help more of the villagers before the couple could find the words to thank him.

[Dios Kane]

:: Dios heard Lance but yet the armored bad guy was still in front of them with nothing stopping him from stopping them. He didn't really have a plan other then sensing the approaching force user that he couldn't identify. It was a she, and she was on the edge of his awareness. Maybe he could lead Venom to him. He chucked a ring in front of Venom and activated it. There was a slight explosion, getting Venom's attention.::
Hey you tin can! Anytime, I'm your huckleberry.
:: He just hoped the other person would get here soon enough. because he stood no chance against this guy. It was like a huge storm blocking out the sun.::

Wei looked around the battlefield. How many more people were there to rescue? It was a race against time, and Wei wondered if he was losing. Shoving those thoughts aside, he dove into another burning house for the umpteenth time that day.

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Whats it going to be Sieken? Leave or we will make you leave."

Kindo wasn't trying to show off with fancy words, he was saddened. Saddened that people died today, that their entire lives were destroyed for a cause unknown, that the enemy laughed of this tragedy like it was a joke. Sieken, could fight them, but he would not win. He would not.

[Jubei SaDherat Vader]

I did take after my parents...

(Jubei turned to face Sieken)

...I walk in my fathers footsteps.

(He turned to the villagers)

Go to the ship, quickly.

(Then, he looked to his side, at his padawan)

Ki Adi...we must work together. Finish him quickly!

(Jubei dropped into a wide-footed, square stance, hands crossed in front along his centerline.)

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

" Yes Master. I will do has I am told."

Kindo placed a very large amount of trust in his Master. He turned towards Sieken. Kindo took a scorpion-like stance. He was standing to his side, his left arm extended, right arm posed for a strike, and left leg out straight.

:: Lance looked at the gungan and nodded quickly and went to the house the other side of the street, igniting his lightsaber he slammed through the door and slided in watching two burnt persons he dashed towards the children and took them in his arm.::

"MOMMY DADDY!!!" The children cried in pain and fear.

"Calm down children I shall get you out of this." He followed the gungan and brought the children to the ship as well.

"Hey dude we gotta go and check some more and maybe help out Kindo, come on let's go!." He said running back to the blazing village.

I see things need some clearing up.

To Zeke: Hobgoblin has yet to show either face or form- since his trickery at the water plant, he has been hiding in a nearby forest, watching Vega and aiding him with a distracting attack whenever I could be online. Since you haven't entered the forest or otherwise located Hob, I am inclined to think you wouldn't have any way of a.) knowing that it was him out there and b.) preparing to attack him.

Also, I count three ships present here. Someone please correct me if they have counted more than myself, however the first attack will suffice for this post.

At the edge of the forest, something ominous rumbled in the Force.

Each of the three arrived ships was struck by a massive bolt of lightning. The lightning skipped and danced around the ships, incinerating their electronics and starting fires all over the ships.

If the Jedi Padawans sought to help the city's denizens escape unharmed, their task had just become more difficult.

The sound of trees hitting the ground echoed again, and this time the assembled Jedi could see why.

The trees in question had withered and blackened, the life energy within them drained out. In their midst stood Hobgoblin.

A tentacle made of dark light leapt forth from one of his hands. It split into three smaller tentacles that each took hold of a tree. The beautiful green of the trees dulled to black. The leaves and branches shriveled. The trunks collapsed as though stricken by rot.

What would have happened over the course of time twenty years hence had happened in seconds before the eyes of the assembled, and Hobgoblin's hands sparked with flickers and zaps of that gathered energy.

"Anbira Hicchoru," he called out, beginning to amble closer as more attention was drawn his way. "It is time you learned the truth."

"I am your brother."

[Saul Mordeth]

Saul nodded to Jubei's command a command he took seriously. Saber lit he moved on Venom with force speed slicing the back of his ankles black blood hit the dirt. Spinning without stopping he stabbed Venom a glancin blow to his side cutting him again. Venom went down. Putting his boot on Venom's throat Saul demanded his immediate surrender. "Go ahead and move it will be the last stupid thing you do!"

Saul grounded himself in the force knowing that the force push was sure to come. Mordeth laughed inwardly at Venom knowing he would surely try such a common trick.

OOc {Man Jubei you aint jokin. Venom without some success in attacks whats the point. I didnt say you where defeated and we walked away end of story. I didnt do twenty moves on you. But you have to take your hits name of the game bro. Go ahead hit me you'll see. It hurts but hey thats how us monkeys play the game chow. :)

[Lion El' Jonson]

"Oh sh--" Lion yelled as lightning played out across his control panels...behind him, a blaster control tipped over, crashing to the floor..two thumps below deck meant that concussion missiles had been fired by the lightning...projected landing zone was the Manarii Mountains...

Bringing the secondary controls on line, which weren't as sophisticated but far more damage resistant, Lion channeled power away from the enginess, since he wasn't going to need them, and put it all into his shields and weapons...luckily, the main generator was only singed, and the backups hadn't been damaged at all...but Kindo's ship was an absolute mess, and the newcomer's vessel had some burns...he had gotten off easy.

The emergency firefighting systems kicked on and filled the cockpit with foam, dousing the fires. A quick check of lifesupport showed that none of the people in the medbay had been hurt...luckily, and Maia was beginning to regain consciousness,,,Lion armed a concussion missile and set it for airburst...that way, nobody would be hurt by the explosion and the shockwave would clear out the trees, revealing where those fireballs and lightning had come from.

(ooc: Venom, it's not fair of you to say that we can't write in success when you're going around and bashing people's heads in with that damn mace or kicking us...just chill, dude...I dun want this to become some ooc thingy, though)

[Ki-Adi Kindo]

Jubei and Kindo stood, posed and cocentrated in their fighting stances. Kindo's mind was in deep thinking of completing this mission, to get these people safe. In order to do this they must get these ones who have malice and hatred in their hearts away from the vacinity of the innocent. No one won or lost today, it was just a day of tragedy and pain. Lives cease to exist all in the name of evil. All they could do now was make sure more more didn't happen, and they would.

Kindo went to the left side of his belt, reaching for his lightsaber. He removed it from it's clip and held it out to his front.


SNAP-HISS!

The maroon blade shot out, ignited and charged up. Now they awaited the Sith's attack.

Lion was busy, rerouting critical systems that had been damaged by the lightning, when the missile went of...it made a loud "THOOM!" and then exploded...a shockwave flew out all around it, leveling the tops of trees...but Lion could see no one there...meanwhile, the two misfired missiles were continuing on their way towards the mountain, though they would do little damage,,,with a sigh, Lion resumed searching for his hydrospanner so he could fix his damn countermeasure system...this was gonna be expensive....

:: Lance knew it was no use to continue going but he decided to go check one more time in the village he ran in and started yelling asking if anyone was still alive.::

All around me was chaos. Villagers fleeing for their lives, houses on fire, and now energy being thrown about. I continued to walk calmly and deliberatly amongst it all, sabre in one hand, Pike in the other. I closed my eyes and a few seonds later opened them, now deep in The Force and drawing on it - more precisely using my foreseeing abilities toselect the best course of action. To see the future was my real power in the Force, coupled with my superb physical combat ability, established over many, mnay years. Hardly any Jedi was my equal hand to hand.

I rounded a corner, seeing the behemoth of a being, a huge mace in one and a lightsabre in the other. In response,, my sabre was lit, the deep red blade coimg to life. The being whom I knew was Venom from prior combat, had his back to me which gave me an opportunity that I would use, especially as he had his attention elsewhere. I raised my Pike, set it for full power and got within firing range. As I did, I took aim and depressed the trigger.

A river of electrical energy exploded out from the tip, snapping and crackling, coursing and making its way to the huge Dark Jedi.

[Severen Morkonis]

The Sith Knight gave but a light chuckle towards Jubei, the Jedi had to have another Jedi Padawan there to protect him...coward. The padawan was not of his interest, Kindo could be dealt with in a few short moments it was Mr.Vadar he was more interested in at this point but even then, the Knight had no weapon raised and so Sieken realized he must have ben some kind of Monk or Light Ninja.

Sieken really could not be bothered with the Padawan and with a quick, sharp push, Siekens palm extended and a medium class force push hit the chest of Kindo throwing him into the air and then down into the wetlands a few spans away. Kindo was not his main concern. Sieken raised his saber up to a defensive position now having got rid of the Padawan to concentrate on the Jedi Knight.

'Now you playing in my ball park Jedi-Man..lets see what you got...' he said stancing himself into a full defending position holding his saber up like a baseball bat.

[Zeke]

Zeke watched Sieken shove Kindo aside. Jubei stood alone, but Zeke was prepared to help.

"Don't forget me!"

Zeke moved to attack with a horizontal slash from behind Sieken.

Wei sighed as the ships were made useless. Now what would they do with the vilagers? Some strange sort of demon was running loose in the woods, so ther was no other place to put the villagers. Wei heaved another sigh.

"Back to work, I suppose, he mumbled to himself. Wei turned toward the villagers .

[Anbira Hicchoru]

:: The entrance of the one he had once known as Hobgoblin broke his attention from his Lupine nemesis. Anbira turned slowly, and regarded the wicked trickster. ::

We were once brothers of the Hand, evil one. Those days are now passed. Our brotherhood has ended.

[Evil Hobgoblin]

Hob continued to walk towards Anbira, a rambling sort of path that didn't make too much sense, even if it did keep him away from any Jedi that chance might have brought near him.

"I was under the assumption that you had forgotten those times," he called out. "That you were denied the truth of your previous life by the Jedi who sought to keep you with them. I can see that I was wrong."

"Why did you turn away from us?" Hob asked finally. He hadn't stopped walking his rambling course, and was now about thirty yards from Anbira and Vega. "You were once the ultimate warrior who sought to bring an end to war. Why did you leave that behind?"

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion had to find Jubei or Anbira...that newcomer also seemed friendly, but somebody needed to heal his arm soon or Lion would be worse than useless in this battle...

...sighing, he left instructions for his few working droids to take care of the villagers, then ran down his ship's ramp towards the fried shuttle.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Vega watched with unsettling ignorance as Hob and Anbira spoke. He had not been aware of the Jedi ever having lived amongst the ranks of those on Vjun, and felt somewhat in the dark now. It was, however, pleasing that Hob was here. The dark dwarf could play on Anbira's weaknesses better than Vega, and with the help of Hobgoblin Vega did not doubt his own ability to take out Hicchoru once and for all.

[Anbira Hicchoru]

My motives were skewed; tainted by my dark past. My cause is the same, but pursued with clarity.

[Zeke]

Zeke glanced over to where Anbira was confronting Vega.

"Quit gabbin' and school his butt so we can all go home..." he thought to himself. He launched himself at Sieken.

[Venom]

He felt the sudden shock of the blast of electricity hit his metal armour, arc and spark, jolting his body and his muscles, as well as his cyborg pieces. His legs gave way and he fell face forward, twitching.... but in his mind, his fury knew no bounds. Anger coursed through him and with the power of his hatred at whomever did this, he got back unsteadily to his feet and turned about to face his attacker.... and felt his anger begin to truly inflame, to harden, to focus on the shape of the woman who was even now coming closer. Venom recognised the face.... the face of the bitch who had ripped his lungs to pieces and had left him for dead on Coruscant a year ago.

He was still unsteady on his feet, but he still managed to point the sabre at the woman.

"Eileen Cross - I have been wanting to meet you again - this time you will die!"

OOC: thanks for the support.

IC:Seeing that the villagers were doing fine, Wei turned to the opposition. there were Vega, Sieken, Venom and the now present Hobgoblin to deal with. Not sure of what to do, Wei scratched at an itch on his side. Eventually, his hand found the blaster Saul had given him before the battle.

"Well, well."

Wei took out the blaster and jumped up onto a high post. He aimed the blaster at Venom, then Seiken, then Hobgoblin, firing one shot at each before returning to Venom again. Wei wanted things to be as no-violent as they could, so he ignored Vega, who was debating with Anbira.

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion paused in the middle of the battlefield, scratching his head with his one good arm...Wei was shooting at the baddies, and Anbira, Jubei and...(was the Helenias?!?!?)...were taking Vega and two other dudes....including the one that crisped his ship...

Zeke, Dios, and Saul were running around like crazy, helping everyone, while Lance was fighting and Bar Bar was saving villagers...this woulda looked so funny if it weren't for the fact that they could all DIE right now...

"Oh, jeez...this is frickin' crazy..." he said to himself, shaking his head..."I can't believe this was gonna be a swim....."

[GNN Probe Droid]

About the remote village hovered a small, spherical droid emitting a curious humming and occasionally babbled some indiscipherable code as if consiously assessing the situation and thus commenting on it. With a whirring sound it dissapeared into the surrounding forest and swooped around the back of the blazing inferno, scanning the area from a new angle.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Seeing as how Hob had Anbira kept busy, Vega thought he'd turn his eye to something else. He scanned the area for some sort of challenge, but all were taken or far too easy for him. He spotted some sort of probe swooping over the area and quirked one eyebrow. The Dark Jedi rose one hand and motioned towards it, drawing it a little inwards with the Force.

"What have we here.."

[GNN Probe Droid]

The small, black sphere gave a mechanical shreak as it veered of course in the direction of the Dark Jedi, with a little courage it cautiously approached and turned so that it's large photoreceptor stared right into the face of Vega.

_TRANSMITTING...

[Vega Van-Derveld]

A curious grin played on his lips as he moved towards the tiny lense. As he looked into the glass, he wondered where the information being receiving by the small droid was being sent. He rose one hand to tap on the front of the bot, but it withdrew away quickly. The smile grew further.

"Filming hmm. Here's something for you to film"

He looked back towards the village and extended a hand, letting out a short sharp burst of Force lightning which struck one woman in the skull, instantly killing her. As the Lupine turned to look back at the camera, he drew his hand with him, almost whipping a tendril of electricity into the camera.

[Hermes Spearman]

Back on Couscant, in the heart of the Commerce Sector, at the top of cloud-reaching structure sat a man in his forties, with grey hair, neat glasses, a respectable attire and a pleased smile. Hermes considered this to be his time and he in his prime, sat comfortably in a large chair hovering three feet from the floor with his sharp, piercing eyes darting about the mammoth screen before him as the latest reports came in. Suddenly something caught his attention, something shocking, literally.

"Section 015 - full screen." Came his command, the computer swiftly back-tracked and enhanced the image.

The great media baron held his breath as Vega declared, "Here's something for you to film!"

The dimmed room flashed brilliantly and the woman's screams were instantaneously silenced. The picture quality was excellent, the sound, impeccable and the puppets were dancing to the right tune, his tune.

"Remarkable!" He declared, the chair lowering. Before he stood, he pressed a switch which divided the wall-consuming viewscreen into roughly a hundred sections and in a matter of seconds they were filled with the images of his associates.

"Good afternoon, my golden retrievers. It seems we have some splendid footage that will captivate our GNN viewers this evening. Now for a healthy helping of scandal. Ideas?"

[Lion El' Jonson]

Lion had been watching Vega from the cover of a tree...or what was left of it...it seemed like he was approaching some odd looking black blob....

..what the hell would a black probe droid be doing in the middle of a battlefield?

...and then, he got it.

"Oh, crap, the media has arrived...."

:: Lance tilted his head to the side watching Vega hit the innocent woman with lighting and then saw the small probe droid.::

"What the frell? The medias? Oh no....that's just what we needed great...." He said sighing

"Now all coruscant is watching us......."

Lion watched as Vega swung his lightning around to one of the villagers...she screamed in agony for a few seconds before...

...her skull shattered, showering the ground with gore...

"Yup, Coruscant was gonna looooove this....." he said, running over to Lance, who had also spotted the droid...

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei noticed Vega's suddne violence and turned to shoot at him too.

[Evil Hobgoblin]

"Clarity?" Hob laughed aloud. One of his hands reached behind him, where Wei's blaster bolt struck it and summarily vanished as Hob pulled its' energy inside himself. A particularly large zap of electricity arced between his hand and his foot as he did so, but still there was no energy that managed to escape Hob's grasp.

"When you teach Padawans to shoot at those who are but talking, is that clarity, Master Hicchoru? I think some of your old ways exist within you still."

Hob then shrugged. "But no matter. You do not wish to return to the Hand. Will you seek out the challenge of the destruction of me and my apprentice?"

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Vega grinned into the camera lense, looking back momentarily to catch sight of a bolt rushing towards him. He ducked downwards, almost causing the shot to impact with the camera - which weaved sideways quickly in the nick of time.

"Tch tch, violent Jedi."

[Dwayne Hicks]

If there was one thing the soldiers that had come with Commander Cross didn't need, it was the media. Luckily for the grunts now trying to organise and clear out non combatants, they hadn't been seen - but they would be soon. Corpoal Dwayne Hicks didn't feel like being a headlining act on the Holo and being some damn live action talking point.

"HUDSON! get those civvies out of here! Stay away from the Jedi and leave them to fight the Dark Siders - lets free 'em up! Go! Go!"

The other soliders, all part of the NRSF company Cross lead, moved out, while Hicks unlocked the safety of his Rail Carbine - a twin weaponed device, with a blaster and an semi auto rail gun assembly. Heavy and bulky, but one of the best guns Hicks had ever used. And a damn good long range, just right for sniping as well.... he raised the gun to shoulder height, pumped in a rain gun round and took aim and the droid from behind.

CRACK!

The projectile spat out with the strange lack of kickback all rail guns had, the earsplitting crack of the 4000 kph projectile ejecting from the barrel. While seemingly archaic in the day of blasters, the sheer velocity that rail gun could blast a bullet was what did all the damage.

BANG!!

Pieces of droid flew everywhere in a nice satisfying spray of shrapnel. Hollowpoint rounds - ask for no subsitute for pure destructive capability. Finally grinning, he activated his personal shield, like the other soldiers had and bugged out to get the civvies to safety. Leave the Jedi to have their battles. Tho he had to admit as adrenaline gave wings to his feet, hadnt he seen that metal monster that Cross was presently electrocuting before? Ah, as long as she ripped it a new butthole, who cared.

He hoped those media scum enjoyed their sudden burst of static.

[Wei Wu Wei]

Wei watched as the armed forces came to take away the villagers.

"Good. They don;t need to see this."

Wei watched Hobgoblin absorb his shot and Vega dodge the other. Wei had never shot a gun before and felt almost proud that he was a good enough shot that Vega had ducked to get out of the way.

"Hobgoblin absorbs them. Vega dodges them. Ok."

Wei decided to not waste shots on Hob and instead focused on Vega. At least Vega had to move out of the way. It might go to Anbira's advantage.

[Vega Van-Derveld]

Vega stumbled backwards as a huge shell whailed past him and impacted with the droid. It burst in a flurry of sparks, and the Dark Jedi had to drop and roll to dodge receiving a chunk of metal in the face. As he looked up to the side, he caught sight of another smaller shot coming towards him - again from Wei. With a growl, he threw a Force pushed into the ground behind him and propelled himself into the air before landing solidly on the ground, raising up Seraphim in a guard that he would use to repel any blaster shots from him - back at Wei.

"Yah, help has arrived.." Lion said, to no one in particular...and they had blown that damn droid outta the sky, too...

"The NRSF...what would we ever do without them?"

Lion remembered that there were still injured villagers in his ship, and he pointed it out to two of the soldiers.
