Sweet Dreams

[Salemn Lysce]

She sat cross-legged on the padded floor, meditating. At first she was "cleansing" her soul, but then her mind began to drift off ... She could hear the piano as it played, "Moonlight Sonata". The keys were tapped lightly so the notes were played soft.

Her brown eyes snapped open and she realized that she was drifting off to sleep. Well, it was night, but she felt like she shouldn't sleep. Not yet.

Maybe a spar would do her good.

:: A giant lioniish yawn could be heard from outside the room and steps as well, the steps became louder of the sound of the yawn clearer. Suddenly Lance tilted his head and felt a presence in the room he was passing by it was late and he wondered what someone would be doing in the academy at the time. He hadn't done his daily spar so he decided to peek in and see, the doors open as he sees young girl in the room::

"Ahh....Salemn" He said scratching his head.

"I thought I was the only person in the academy at this hour, so have anything planned? If you don't....well I'm bored maybe a spar would be cool?"He said on a serious tone.

[Salemn Lysce]

< A spar would be most excellent, Lance. >

She raised her arms over her head, stretching, then reached down and unclipped her lightsabre. As she stood up, she looked at Lance.

< Well ? Your move. >

Even though she didn't ignite her sabre yet, she waited.

:: A wide grin formed on his face as he saw her unclip her lightsaber he loved to spar with new people.::

"Hehe...amusing" He sais summoning the force to his hand. His lightsaber unclips it's self from his belt and flys to his hand.

"Matrix baby..another spar" He says as he presses the ingition button on the hilt.

SNAP-HISS!!!

:: The sky blue blade bursts out of the hilt huming in the air Lance then moved the lightsaber around and roundly slashed the floor leaving a few sparks fly out. Then looking at Salemn he decided to start smooth just to get to know her a bit walking towards slowly his eyes did not one second stop scattering her untill he reached a nearer position Lance sent one slow and weak slash just to see what she would do.::

In a split second, Salemn's thumb pressed the button and her lightsabre was ignited. Bringing it up diagonally, she blocked Lance's attack and then aimed for his thigh. He was going easy on her, but she had expected more.

:: Lance quckly clashed his lightsaber against hers and now that her lightsaber was ignited the fun could finally start bringing both of their lightsabers up Lance quickly spun and sent his foot to her stomach and backflipped a few feets away.::

[Salemn Lysce]

His foot caught her right in the stomach and she stumbled back, nearly losing her grip on the lightsabre. Seeing that he backflipped away, she grinned.

< What are you, scared ? >

At the same time, she ran towards him, using the Force to enhance her speed. In seconds she covered the feet between them - a trick she learned from her Master, Nash. She slammed her lightsabre down on his left side, and while he blocked, she kicked up with her left foot.

:: The force had told him the move she was gonna do and anyways he knew that move perfectly several of his opponents use it and he uses it as well, not caring about what might happen to his lightsaber he ungrips one of his hands quickly off Matrix and grabs the foot sent towarded him sending more strenght into his arm he made he simply flipped her away.::

"Scared?..hehe I don't think so..I'm just taking this smooth.." He says grinning.

OOC: Sorry for the delay but I'm very busy nowadays.

As she flipped in the air, Salemn instinctively reached out with her free hand and grabbed Lance's lightsabre. She landed in a graceful crouch, then stood up and began to spin The Matrix.

< Lose something ? >

In a mere second, she slashed at his chest with his lightsabre and at his legs with hers. She also sent a Force blast towards his head.

< I thought one of the lessons a Jedi was taught was to keep hold of your lightsabre. >

:: Lance was sent backwards because of the force blast and then grinned getting up quickly he watched as Salemn was having major difficulties handling his lightsaber::

"A problem?" He said with a wide grin on his face.

:: He then quickl flipped him-self towarded her and called a lightsaber that was on the wall one of excercise ones he slashed to her own lightsaber and then force blasted Matrix and force speeded to reach it. He quickl came back to his attack stance now with two lightsaber and sent multiple slashes which would eventually become very tough for Salemn to block.::

Obviously he had fixed his lightsabre so anyone else handling it would have difficulties. No matter, she had better things to worry about. Her body began to move in a liquid-like motion as she used the Force to aid her, blocking and dodging his attacks. Beads of perspiration began to work themselves on the Padawan's face as she concentrated. Each time it was getting harder and harder, while a voice told her that the odds were against her ..

But wasn't being a Jedi defying the odds ? Wasn't it defying the hardships of life and triumphing over evil ? She had proven that the odds were wrong once, and she could do it again.

Gritting her teeth together, Salemn narrowed her brown eyes as she began to block his attacks vigorously. New energy rushed through her body, and then a new idea formed in her mind. With a devious smile, the exercise lightsabre Lance had flew out of his hand, back onto the wall.

:: Lance quickly walked back still slashing to keep her busy and then in one of the clashes he pushed her lightsaber to let her body unprotected and motionned his feets in a sliding move to quickl reach her left side and then sent an elbow to her ribs.::

[Salemn Lysce]

Reaching out with one hand, she grabbed his elbow and pushed it away, causing Lance to stumble back. She then brought her lightsabre up and began to slash it diagonally across his chest.

:: He simply threw his lightsaber to his chest to block her's and moved leftwards quickly focusing a bit of force on his hand he called Matrix who was spinning in the air from the massive slash as it came back Lance quickly spun on his feet and used all the power in his chest and everything above to send a massive cut towards her.::

[Salemn Lysce]

Impressive. Quite impressive.

Quirking an eyebrow, Salemn parried his blow, using the Force to aid her. If she hadn't, she surely would've been sent backwards from the power of this attack. She nearly stumbled, but gritting her teeth, she acted like it was nothing. Spinning neatly on her heel, she jumped up, sending her sabre towards his head while her foot was aimed for his stomach.

"Hehe time for some speedio."

:: Lance watched the two actions coming towards him, the solution to get out of this turmoil came to him quickly and Lance put his sword upwards to block her slash and used the immobilisation technique to engulf her kick, this technique simply consisted in paralizing his body and become like a stone statue, the pain was still felt but the kick did not make him fall backwards, as she fell back from the bloe on his stomach Lance stoped using the immobilisation and walked a few feets away, his stomach hurting badly, he simply acted as if it didn't.::

"Not bad for a little girl." He said on his fighting stance.

[Salemn Lysce]

Even though he was pretending that her kick hadn't caused any damage, she could feel his pain through the Force.

< Lance, are you alright ? >

She de-ignited her sabre and hung it at her belt, hurrying over at him. She hadn't meant to hurt him so.

:: Lance passed a hand through his hair.::

"Of course I am don't you worry, it hurts yeah but gotta get use to pain, besides don't you flatter yourself thinking you hurt me, now get back to your fighting position." He said on a sarcastic tone.

:: The pain was there but it was nothing critical.::

[Salemn Lysce]

Salemn quirked an eyebrow. She didn't realize Lance would act like this ...

Suddenly, her lightsabre was ignited while she lashed out and grabbed his hand that ran through his hair. She spun around behind him, continuing to hold onto his hand while bringing her lightsabre up to his throat. She moved her grip from his hand to his wrist and began to bend it backwards, smirking a bit.

< Not bad for a little girl, eh ? >

:: Lance was in a bad position right now, so he simply decided to use his other hand which was free to grab the hand which was holding her lightsaber grabbing it and knowing that she can't cut hsi head off Lance with the aid of the force threw her in the air with one hand, it was a difficult task to do but he had used a pretty large amount of force here, in real combat he would've died, Salemn had teached Lance a lesson, never to let his guard down::

"Not bad....excellent I must say..thank for the lesson this makes me stronger."He says with a wide grin on his face calling Matrix back to his hand and ingiting it.

< You mean you didn't know this already ? >

Smirking a bit, she landed neatly on her feet and de-ignited her lightsabre. After she clipped it to her belt, she canted her head to the side.

< How about a bit of hand-to-hand combat ? >

" I knew but I never actually put any attention into it" He said grinning throwing his lightsaber away.

"Right on...I was waiting for you to ask" He said cracking his neck and hands.

[Salemn Lysce]

As Lance began to crack his joints, Salemn quickly darted forward to his left. As he turned to face her, Lance saw her fist heading towards him. When he tried to duck, her foot came up and snap-kicked him in the chin, making him fall back with his face exposed to the punch.

It was another test to see how he would handle the situation.

:: Lance did not fall he simply flipped backwards to come back to his feet quickly, this wasn't very fast for him. Lance was a very quick fighter he was use to fighting fast opponents. Now on his feet he dashed towarded her and right before he was completly on the floor he pressured his right hand on the floor and then somehow lifted him-self a bit above the floor to almost float to dash under Salemn's legs without making a noise, as Salemn fell down Lance quickly got up. Lance could've quickly kicked her to send her flying like a soccer ball but Lance had one weakness, girls he just couldn't hurt them as bad as he hurt guys it wasn't in his nature.::

"..." Lance didn't say a word regretting of not having completed his action.

[Salemn Lysce]

Her hand shot up and she grabbed Lance's leg, pulling him down with her.

< ... Never let your opponent have an opportunity like this - keep them down ! >

He was being a gentleman, she could tell, but she sure wasn't being a lady. Rising to a crouching position, she used the Force to quickly roll him on his back. In a blur, she reached down into one of her pockets and pulled out a rope and tied Lance's hands behind his back.

Standing up, she smiled innocently at him and turned, beginning to leave ....

"Hehe I like this girl' Lance said as he threw his saber to his back with the force cutting his ropes.

:: Lance called his stuff back to him and left the room as well to head back to his room and have a snooze.::
