I don't laugh at it, it makes me smile occasionally. It's very rare I find something online that makes me laugh properly, it requires a certain type of wit. For example, when Garrett did that Specific Ceel thing it actually brought tears to my eyes with laughter and that's because it was so subtle, pointless and daft but yet witty at the same time - I really need to see the funny side of something and unfortunately I don't find comic strips particularly witty.

I took the day and just slept in and then walked to my friends house to use the high speed net connection. The weather is so wierd here...it was both hot and cold while I was walking.

lol yeah Im sure Im in japan....all the japanese writing gave it away.

My stay is going great. I dont want to go home. Im definately coming back next summer, though hopefully next year I'll be able to stay for three months like my friends want me to. Its so beautiful here. I've gone snorkling again, survived another typhoon, and drank more japanese beer then I have ever seen in my entire life lol.

I return home august 6th. So its a total of five weeks...but it doesnt feel like it...time is going soooo fast. Maybe I'll take a semester off of school and just live here for a few months.

yeah. I have a lot of friends both in okinawa (where I am right now) and on mainland japan and I basically have an open invite to show up whenever I feel like it. Makes travel easier.

I've been swimming and snorkling. The ocean is so clear and blue and green. I've been shopping. Ive gone to a couple of their toursity areas. Pineapple farm, they have this long cave full of stalactites and stalagmites and other rock formations that you can go through. Its not huge like carlsbad in the USA but its really cool. I went to this place where they blow glass and I got to blow glass and make my own cup. I went to this place where they dye clothes with dyes made from things here on okinawa and made my own scarf. I wrote my name on it in japanese and drew stuff on it and they dyed it. Very fun. Ooh I petted a snake. Umm...did wine tasting...sake tasting....watched tycho drummers. Went to a city festival and won a huge cool inflateable cat. Umm....I won three goldfish and gave them to my friends sister who has a tank so they are alive and well. I named the family turtle (the kids made me do it lol). Did I mention swimming and snorkling??? :D

yeah a few of the places had a lot of old restored houses and artifacts. I did go to a marine museum that had a lot of old sailing vessel replicas and I went to the planetarium. I got a picture of me inside one of the old style okinawan houses.

not a whole lot....Most of the evenings are spent at someones house. Most of the time theres a group where Im staying or at someone elses house and theres eating and drinking and music at least till midnight. The night of the last typoon we all had a huge typhoon party till 2:30.

Oh and I am going to see star wars while Im here. I met a couple of guys who are swfans and they asked me to go see it with them.
