In the Aftermath of Brooding ...

IC~ Navaria woke up in her own bed for the first time in three days. It was an invigorating feeling to know your surroundings and absorb the comfort of sheets that smell familiar and a mattress that you picked out because it must have been made for you.

Quite the contrast from being in the hospital. There were no doctors or nurses nor medical droids near. No indistinguishable noises of machinery that monitored her or the other patients.

Everything was quiet.

Beeeep? Brrrrt Bweep Zrrrrp?

"I'd forgotten about you."

Navaria muttered half asleep.

The astromech whistled in question, not understanding what the Knight had said. It was the compromise in coming home. Droid in the quarters or stay in the hospital.

"Nevermind."

She propped herself up and fixed the pillows behind so that she would be able to sit up. Once settled, Navaria received breakfast in bed. Toast, lightly buttered, two eggs over medium, a bowl of fruit and of course, namana juice.

The true breakfast of any Jedi.

There was a holopad next to the tray. It held galactic news and some local happenings of the surrounding area in more detail.

The shootings outside the bar and grill were still a hot topic of debate. Sanis was still in jail and for the last three days, Navaria had been trying to contact him. The Council insisted otherwise until she gained her strength.

She was almost healed except for the fact that Navaria was still too weak to walk anywhere....

Sanis was too far away for her to contact through the Force ... but would he be ready to talk? Navaria knew deep in her heart that he was taking this terribly.

Damn that Sorsha.

Sighing, her mind shifted back to other news while sipping her juice.

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Soolin walks in and takes a seat next to Navaria ::

"Good morning."

[Navaria Tarkin]

Soolin's presence was a warm welcome and Navaria couldn't help but smile.

"Good morning to you too."

Navaria set the datapad down on the tray.

"And welcome to my quarters. How are things on the outside?"

She asked with a touch of humor.

[Alpha]

Satine pokes his head in, smiling at Nav.

"Hiya Nav, how are ya? Uh...Mind if I come in?"

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Of course you can, Satine. Come in and don't be shy."

Navaria was decent, garbed in her bathrobe. There was no reason that he had to be nervous around her.

[Alpha]

Satine walks in, and nods in greeting at Soolin. He then turns to Nav again.

"Nav, I hope you don't mind, but since you were out of it, I put Tirsa under my protection for the time being..."

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Thank you, Satine. I appreciate it greatly. As soon as I am well enough I'll be able to take Tirsa back under my protection."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"Okay, now maybe you can tell me what this is all about."

[Navaria Tarkin]

She sighed and slumped back on her pillow. It was a messy situation.

"Which part?"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"Well you aren't going anywhere for awhile. The beginning is the perfect place to start." :)

[Navaria Tarkin]

She frowned.

"Great. That doesn't help."

Rubbing at her eyes, she stifled a yawn. There was just so much to tell ... It was best to start at the easiest point and go from there.

"Sanis doesn't want to loose me again ... He is afraid that a pair of Sith are going to kill me. And, he is true in his fears because before me there was ..."

Navaria looked at Soolin and sighed.

"... there was a clone of me that he fell in love with. A Sith by the name of Sorsha killed her ... and in turn, Sanis wanted to take revenge on Sorsha by killing her lover Tirsa ..."

A headache was forming.

"Which is why three days ago, Sanis went after Tirsa .... but, Tirsa was so afraid of what he was going to do I couldn't say no to protecting her."

Taking a deep breath, Navaria closed her eyes.

"I think you know the rest."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"If it were me, I'd make sure he spent the next few cycles in a Gamorr prison. He's a loose cannon."

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Not after I talk with him."

She fidgeted with her datapad.

[Alpha]

"Does that kind of talking involve beating him with the dark end of your sabre?" Satine says, raising an eyebrow.

[Navaria Tarkin]

Navaria looked up with hurt in her eyes.

"No, of course not. I mean to ... just talk."

[Alpha]

Satine sees that hurt expression, and holds up his hands.

"Nav, I was joking...I know you're not going to kill, wound, maim, or inflict boily harm on Sanis. You're not that kind of person."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"It's your own business I suppose, but I intend to keep a watch on him just the same if you don't mind. If he steps out of line again ..."

:: bites her tongue and forces a smile ::

"It's good to see you're getting better." :)

[Navaria Tarkin]

She rubbed at her temples.

"I am sorry, Satine. Blame being in the hospital for three days that have made me forget what joking around is."

Poking her eye between two fingers, Navaria looked at Soolin."

"Soolin ..."

Navaria made sure to emphasize her name.

"... I'm taking care of it. Trust me. You won't have to keep a special eye on him."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"As you wish. So what about this nebari girl? I hear she's a pirate."

[Alpha]

"Her name's Tirsa Krylana, and yes, I'm fairly sure she's a pirate. She's in the Medical bay on the east wing of the LQ. The one that is next door to the B&G."

[Navaria Tarkin]

"I'm glad she wasn't seriously injured. I read the reports of what happened to her and yes ..."

She looked at the two of them..

"... she is a pirate. There doesn't need to be any uncertainty."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: raises an eyebrow at Alpha ::

"If you're supposed to be watching over this girl, what are you doing here?"

[Navaria Tarkin]

Navaria snickers and goes back to reading.

[Alpha]

"She's in the med bay, asleep, last time I checked. But now that you mention it, I was planning on going back to the med bay."

{OOC:Does this take place before or after my thread? Never did figure that out yet.}

[Soolin Anjhurin]

OOC - I'm thinking this scene happens during the two hours Tirsa slept, then you went back.

[Navaria Tarkin]

OOC~ Yes, this happens before the thread with Tirsa.

IC~ "Well, you should get back to her. Incase she wakes up."

[Alpha]

{OOC: Okies. Thankies. :)}

"Good idea." Satine says, bowing to both Nav and Soolin before heading back.

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: watches him exit and looks at Navaria with a dubious expression ::

"He doesn't look very responsible to me. Are you sure you can trust him?"

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Satine?"

Navaria looks up and smiles.

"He might be flighty but takes his responsibilities seriously."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"If you say so, but I think I'll check in a bit, just to be sure."

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Thank you. I appreciate it since I cannot do it myself."

Sighs and motions to her situation. Being stuck in a bed.

[Alpha]

"I'll see you later, Navaria."

:: exits the room, leaving Grimya to watch over her friend ::

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Later then."

Navaria looked down at Grimya sitting on the floor and patted the side of the bed that was empty.

"There's plenty of room for two."

[Navaria Tarkin]

Soolin hadn't returned yet in the last hour and Navaria was growing restless. A few Jedi had come in to say high, but nothing else happened.

She still wanted to see Sanis but half a dozen Jedi outside would try and stop her ... It was too much of a hassle.

Running her hand through Grimya's thick fur, she instead put in a call to Arcan Penitentiary...

"This is Jedi Knight Navaria Tarkin requesting the on duty commander to speak with."

<"Sure thing, Jedi Tarkin. Glad to hear your voice, Ma'am.">

"Thank ...!"

There was muffled yelling in the background.

"What's going on?!"

<"Sorry, Ma'am. We have a situation down here. Have'ta call back. Arcan Out.">

"Don't you dare hang up ...."

........

"Dammit!"

She sat there, arms crossed for about a good ten seconds before getting up and out of bed.... much to Grimya's displeasure.

"You and I both know that the situation is involving Sanis. I can feel it."

Undressing out of her nightgown, Navaria started slipping into her Jedi robes.

"He has more enemies then I have clones...."

The sigh that escaped the wolf's muzzle was all to entirely human.

"You can come and keep me out of trouble if you want but I am going."

Navaria proclaimed as she snapped her belt on.

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Soolin stepped into the doorway just in time to hear Navaria's last words. What she had to tell would wait. Her duty to Navaria to keep her from leaving came first ::

Navaria noticed Soolin in her quarters just as one arm was being covered by her robe.

"Do not look at me like that. I'm still going."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: She imagined if their positions were reversed and sighs. She would be just as headstrong ::

Navaria paused as no response came from Soolin. She wondered what was going on her friend's mind while finishing putting on her cloak.

"You can come too or ..."

She stood in front of Soolin, since the Jedi Warrior was blocking the exit.

"... are you still going to stop me from going."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"I don't know where we're going, but let's go."

[Navaria Tarkin]

"We are going to see Sanis."

Was all Navaria said and walked out the door.
