The problem is when I convert it to jpg the red text looks awful, it is meant to read:

"Love seeketh only self to please,
To bind another to it's delight,
Joys in another's loss of ease,
And builds a Hell in Heaven's despite."

How can I get around this problem, I've deliberatly altered the gradient and size of the text at different points and I like it that way but is there any graphical way about it to make it smoother, crisper?

Please help me! :)

Set a drop shadow for one. Add a outline for another. Make sure the font can be anti aliased as well

Use layers, layer the text. Never change the size of text all willy nilly!:lol Or maybe Sharpen it? Red always looks horrible on my computer anyways...

Sorry, I took graphic art in college...:\

All that graphocs talk frightens the bejeezus out of me. I have no idea what all that means! :cry

Marcus, if I gave you the image without the red text and told you what font I used would you do what you just said - I haven't a clue! :\

I wouldn't know what a .psd is anyway. :)

Here's the image and the font is "Staccato 222 BT" if you have it. If not, just something that looks similar in red, por favor. :)

A psd is a Photoshop document, with all the layers still intact. What program are you using anyways???:lol

I only use Photoshop to reduce the file size - that is all! :lol

Layers!? I don't really know how to use em and haven't for any of my sigs so far. The program I use is Ulead Photo Express 2.0 SE.

I use PS 3.0 although I have used newer ones, you should just play around in it, you can get some great effects :)
