I thought I heard that once, but it may have been in a dream...:)

Nope, check TOS, ask the Jedi Council. McCallum cant say for sure when EP3 takes place. If it was written, he'd know

Unfortunately, If Ep. III was already written - it would probably be all over the web by now... :( Even though we pretty much know what's going to happen, I hope there's less spoiler material for Ep. III - at least spoilers of that magnitude like scripts or storyboards...

Your probably right on that one - the script would be out there somewhere.
I wonder if I can find the Jounal of the Whills? That would probably suggest a few things

I bet some of it is scribble down somewhere at George's house. He probably came up with some ideas while writing TPM & AotC and jotted them down.

Oh yeah, I bet he has an outline, maybe even had a few scenes written for years from when he was writing TPM and EP2. But I doubt we'd have to wait 3 years if he had already written it :)

I don't know, George is awfully consistent. All the movies have been 3 years apart, regardless of technology available. I think even if it was done now, he'd tinker with it until filming starts. I'd bet $50 that Episode 3 will open exactly 28 years to the day after ANH came out.

But films took longer to make back then.

Movies can take a while if good. If they aren't under 6 months garenteed.

I am sure he has an outline for it allready made but beyond that I doubt he has done too much on it.

I have no idea where that came from but I know for a fact there is no Journal of the Whills that is one of those urban legends that have still hung around. I remember that the jedi council had a question up about it and they said exactly that. Also from what they said the whole journal of the whills thing came from the ANH novelization, it was on the second page after the prologue.

I found it on the official sites boards and it wasn't locked. So that means something.

JMC - the Journal of the Whills was what the second draft of ANH was called. In fact if you ever find the first four drafts, you will see a lot of dropped ideas that made it into TPM and AOTC. Like Amidala and Naboo, even though it was not named that. Personally the Jedi Council question / Answers are misleading and sometimes things that ARE true get denied.
One thing I do rmemeber clearly is that Skywalker was the old General in The Whills.

The answer lies in GL's toilet...
