Corran is the bomb. I like Jaina too. Thrawn was the perfect villian and definently a favorite. Wedge is great as is Han. I love Han's humor in most of the stories. I like Anakin Solo......but well we know what happened to him (I wont say because that might spoil something for someone.)

Personally I don't think Corran is that much like Luke, I think he is closer to Han's personality, a gambler type person, now I have never read the X-Wing novels and I mainly basing this off I, Jedi and the NJO but he just seems a lot different than Luke to me.

I think Jacen redeamed himself in the new NJO book Traitor. He was very cool in the book. They seemed to flesh him out a lot more. Hell the whole book was about him!

I dont think Corran is anything like Luke. He is a very confident person, while at the same time very critical of himself. I think anyone who as read I, Jedi would agree. That book rocked!!! Oh and I agree with Fett....Corran is Stackpole. No one else can write him.

I actually like Borsk Fey'lya. He is someone you can love to hate.

Personally, I am enjoying the direction the NJO is going in. At first it was just okay, but now they seem to be focusing on the characters more than big outrageous stories. Everyone seems more real (like Jaina and Jacen....hell even Kyp.)

Two things:

One, I thought Darksaber was a horrible book, mainly because it killed off Madine and had one of the most godawful endings I've ever seen in my life...(actually, Kevin J. Anderson's books are pretty good, minus the one he and his wife wrote for Starcraft...*shudder*)

Two, the NJO jumps around too much, I think...all those books...O_o )

Oh, yeah, I think Mazzic and Booster Terrik are cool, too...

Mi favorite EU character is Mr. Dash Rendar from Shadows of the Empire. I don't think he got the face time he deserved , but he was cool none the less.

I consider Wedge to be a EU character, yes he appeared in the OT, but he was not developed. So he is my favorite character.

But for you purists out there, my favorite EU born and breed character has to be Garik Loran.

I love Tahiri, Anakin, Jagged Fel, Vergere, Jaina, Jason, Tenel Ka, pretty much all the kids. It's so cool to have seen their whole story and gotten to see how they grow up.

Yeah def...definitely love the whole Jaina and Fel thing. I hope Jason hooks up with Tenel and not Danni, that scientist lady. She's cool and all, it's just the little thing between Tenel and Jason is cute.
