I hope they do it in the old animation, and not the CG crap. If they did it any other characters other than the originals, I'm completely uninterested. I find the new cartoons TOTALLY lame.

I think the CG is awesome, I'd prefer to see it in CG. It has always looked much better for that type of show than traditional animation, which is more suited to something like Spirit, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, etc.

Agreed. That's more like it. None of this new stuff, whatever they did, it's stupid. The classic stuff was the best.

I so loved the transformers, and the Thundercats. I wanted to be panthra :) and I WANTED Cheetara ;)

I actually wrote a script myself, hoping I could get the rights :) I hope whoever has them doesn't screw it up. I think CG/live action is the way to go. Kinda like Small Soldiers, but BIGGER! Keep the original characters, like Prime and Megatron, and put in enough to please the kids. It can't miss.

I've got the Transformers movie on DVD and I taped it off cable years ago. I liked the movie but it was just brutal to see Prime killed off so quickly. If the movie had built towards a final confrontation I think it would have been even more dramatic. But to see 3 of my favorite characters gone in the first half hour was heartbreaking; Prime, Megatron, and Starscream.
Stupid Rodimus, if wasn't for him Prime never would have died!
