* Will MiB 2 finish BELOW 90 million for the holiday weekend?

* Will AOTC finish in the top 10, leaping pas Greek Wedding and Ya-ya Sisterhood?

* Will Spiderman actually be over 400 million for day 66, tying Titanic's record?

Will Spiderman actually be over 400 million for day 66, tying Titanic's record? If they do not have spidey beating TPM for fastest to 400 mil I will be in utter shock.

Well according to the estimates, Spidey made it a day early by only 54,000. which isn't all that much.

The studio *might* have decided to tweak their estimate a bit to lay their claim to the record.

Yeah they might have, honestly I am not sure what will happen I think MIB2 will make above 90, I am not sure if AOTC will make the top 10 I think it will be 11th though (of course it might make the top ten when you factor in Wed and Friday, we will have to see there) and I really question if SM made it to 400 on Sunday, it just seems funny that it landed exactly on the 400 like that.

Btw, does anyone know approximately when the actuals will be ready? Not sure if I am wasting my time refreshing the box office sites.. :)

Usually they go up between 3:30-5:30 they do go up a little earlier occasionally, but 90% of the time they won't be up before 3:30.

So it is 3.30 Eastern Standard Time then?

I think 400M for sunday sounds just about right for Spiderman looking at their numbers earlier in the week. It had 396.87 by tuesday. It should have made 400M by sunday.

I think MIB will pass the 90M mark, but not by much. AOTC should land in 11'th spot.

Hey you cheated :p
Now sure MIB2 did okay but what I can't understand is what Lee has on his site

While the weekend box office launch may have been lower than what some had been forecasting (hitting three digit mark predictions), its opening is in no way a disappointment, as Men in Black II will more than definitely surpass the $200 million mark with a chance of topping MIB's $250 million domestic total. Its budget of $140 million (plus $50 for advertising) suggests a relatively easy earnings run, but whether or not it has the potential to reach across Attack of the Clones (currently at $291.1 million) is unknown, as a possibility is on the radar; some of that will depend on its second and third week depreciation.

Yeah Right, it will make 300 million I think it has no chance of that, it won't even make 250 IMO maybe 200 but that is about it, still it probably won't even be in the top 5 at the end of the year (I am certain LOTR and HP 2 will beat it and there will be one more film to top it maybe Signs.)

Yeah, for a guy who's been forecasting box office as long as Lee has, I don't know where he gets some of his ideas from. Saying it will "more than definately surpass the $200 million mark" is a reach. I think it will just limp across $200 million barely. But considering all the negative reactions I've heard, it may just collapse and not even make it that far.
