Despite overlooking the fact that the Force is required to wield a lightsaber properly. I would say in all honesty, Princess Leia needs a lightsaber. That way she can open a can of ... er you know what.. when she gets in the tight fixes she finds herself in through-out the OT movies. Especially during Jabba's advances... ewww... yikes. And she has the Force too!

When han ignited lukes saber on hoth, he didnt look like he was very confortable with it, or maybe it was just too cold, either way,
Id opt to see han with blasters....

BTW...i wouldnt be surprised if R2 has a saber tool hidden away in there somewhere. After seeing him fly around with little rocket booster thingies, anything is possible.

I merely found a good picky of a rancor, a good piccy of a lightsaber, and then modified said rancor pic and lightsaber pick, layered, copy/paste, fiddle, drew in saber, enhanced, added effect, and VOILA... instant Rancor with Lightsaber! :D
