Vacation...

[Liam Jinn]

The morning had passed by quickly as Liam finished a few matters at GJO. He was to meet Xazor in the hanger in a few minutes; the two had planned a vacation. Xaz had been busy as of late, so Liam thought it'd do her good to get out and relax.

He made his way down the hall, then pushed open the side door to the hanger. Xaz hadn't made it there yet so he took a seat in a nearby chair and waited..

[Xazor Elessar]

The Jedi Knight, Xazor Magus, was busy finishing up last minute things at the Greater Jedi Order when she realized what time it was. Smiling brightly, she picked up her packed things and hurried down the the hanger where she was to meet Liam.

Once she passed through the doors her eyes fell on him immediatly. She hoped that he had not been waiting for her too long. She walked across the floor and toward him, her blue robes flowed behind her like the waves of the ocean and the Garou Warrior Braids in her hair swung in time with each step she took. The gold coins woven into them clanged together softly until she came to a stop in front of him. Bowing, she smiled.

"Greetings my friend.....are you ready?"

She laughed slightly, seeing that he obviously was. This was a much needed break and it would be good for the both of them to get away for a while for they both held very busy schedules.....

Liam watched as Xazor entered the hanger. He smiled as she approached.

"Yeah, I'm ready." He stood up and stretched, then looked back at Xazor. "Well don't you look lovely today Mrs. Magus. Which ship will we be taking?"

Xazor blushed crimson at Liam's compliment. She thought about his question for a moment before shrugging her shoulders.

"If you want to drive.....that's fine. Mine is getting a tune up anyway....something was wrong with the hyperdrive....."

She said with a disappointed look. She hated having her ship not at hand.....especially with such a serious problem. The Knight depended greatly on her Fighter. It wouldn't hurt to take a break from flying, though, and let someone else do it....

Liam smiled as he escorted her to his ship, 'Nebulon'. The ramp came down and the two slowly made their way inside. He showed her where certain things were in his ship then moved to the cockpit.

Soon the ship exited the atmosphere and jumped to hyperspace..

The flight went well and after several hours of talking and some meditation, the ship landed itself. Xazor smiled and stretched her arms, looking at her friend.

"Well, we are here at last!"

Xazor had never seen Dantooine before and this would be a great treat from the stress in her life. Liam got out and helped her down from her high place in the seat next to his. They gathered their things and stood there for a moment.

"Where to now?"

She had no idea where they were going for she had left planning up to Liam. The young Knight did not know much of this place and it was all so new to her.....but beautiful...from what she saw already.

Liam looked around as if trying to find a spot he recognised. It hadn't been too long of a time since he'd last been to this planet, but things seemed to change so fast around him. He put a hand over his eyes and then squinted.

"We landed on the wrong side of that river over there. It's about a mile away...Would you like to take a walk?"

Off in the distance he could see a bridge made of wood; it'd take them to the right side but he didn't know what condition it was in. Sighing and letting his hand fall back down, he turned and waited for Xazor's answer.

The freighter passed on the way to Dantooine was of little notice. After all, there were millions of such craft in the galaxy. It was this lack of notice that was planned on, as the vessel followed in loose pursuit, coming down on the opposite side of the river, just beyond a ridge, nearly an hour after Liam and Xazor's arrival. The small ship landed, and immediately disgorged a group of red-clad beings. Quietly, they slinked up the grassy ridge, their blue eyes low to the ground, remaining unseen as they achieved a vantage over the approaching pair. Behind the two dozen larger figures on the ridge, a smaller, more petite being stood, hands clasped behind her back, as her long tail swished lazily.

Xazor looked toward the river and sighed slightly.

"Sure, let's take a walk. It is much needed after such a long trip."

As they began to walk, Xazor's super sensitive Garou senses alerted her of the presence of.....felines. The Knight growled deeply but then she shook her head and thought that perhaps her allergies were messing with her once again. But a nagging sound kept ringing in her ears. She could hear the rustling of grass off in the direction they were headed...and she felt eyes upon her. The Knight tried to ignore it but could not. She had, of course, wore all of her weapons for she went no where without them. Her hand casually came to rest upon her lightsaber.

Keep your eyes open, Liam....we have company.....

She said in his mind as they got closer to the river. The Garou continued to scan the area with her eyes and senses, but saw nothing. She just.....knew...that something...someone...was there....

He sighed again. Hopefully, if there was anyone around, they wouldn't pay too much attention to the two Jedi. Liam had brought Xaz to Dantooine for a vacation, not just for new scenery.

"I wouldn't worry about it yet, once we get across though we'll try and stay discreet. "

The two made there way further into the tall grass of the field before them. The scent of freshly wet grass grew as they approached the river.

Simultaneously, the sound of two dozen autocannons powering up echoed down from the ridge, as the Cizerack took up their tactically superior firing positions. Even a Jedi's ability to deflect blaster fire would be useless against such a heavy firepower concentration let loose at once. However, the soldiers held their fire. They were not here to kill. Not if things went as planned.

Standing over the gunmen, a smaller figure approached...the platoon's female commander. She stood at the lead of the group, her arms crossed.

"Greetjingsss"

Xazor growled deeply and quickly drew her lightsaber. Her finger slipped over the switch and two blue blades shot forth from each end. It was a well crafted saber called Love, a double bladed, duel-phase weapon of protection...and destruction. She continued to growl, exposing her elongated canines.

"Greetings to you as well....what do you want?"

The Knight said as her eyes quickly scanned the expanse before them. Cizerack Hunter Forces.... she thought to herself. Of course, she had come in contact with a few of them before, but not this many. Sighing, she looked at Liam for...help...

Liam sideways glanced at Xazor; she seemed worried.

Don't worry, they won't harm us yet. Sorry, I'll be back. he said through the force.

Suddenly he dropped, the tall grass providing all the camoflage he needed to evade the Ciz at the moment. He rolled to the right, then popped up, running at full speed towards the bridge. He thought he heard a few startled cries but paid no attention to them.

The bridge creaked with each light footed step as Liam sped up. He was nearly a blur by the time he leapt into the safety of the tall grass on the other side of the river.

That left Xazor standing alone, looking into what seemed like a hundred cannons. She shook her head and laughed slightly.

"I say to you, what do you want?"

She called out, wondering what Liam had up his sleeve. She hoped that he knew what he was doing....

A quick raise of a fisted hand kept her soldiers at bay. They would stay with their weapons fixed on the female. The male would flee. He could do no harm to them. Confident that the situation was under control...the female approached, moving down the ridge slowly.

"Put awajy jyourrr weapon. jYou'rrre outnumberrred, and even jyourrr sssworrrd wjill do no good."

Xazor did not wish to fight anyone...she was on vacation and sought no harm to these people...besides, the Ciz was right, she was outnumbered. The Knight did as suggested and disengaged her saber, then clipped it back to her weapons belt, her hand rested on it for a moment...but then fell to her side.

"I seek no trouble, good mistress...I am on vacation with a friend but we have run into you. What do you wish of me?"

She questioned curiously, wondering why they had stopped she and Liam...they were causing no trouble....

"We rrrequjirrre jyourrr help. jYou wjill come wjith usss."

[Xazor Elessar]

The Knight lofted a brow and eyed the female for a moment before sighing and nodding slightly. It did not seem like a choice of whether she was going or not...so she walked toward her, holding her hands in front of her in sign that she would not use her weapons.

"What do you wish me to do? Ask and you shall recieve...."

The Knight said softly, curious as to why they needed her, among all people....

"We can djissscussssss jit laterrr."

She gestured to the nearby freighter, as her platoon stood from their prone positions, flanking around the two females.

"Therrre jisss ljittle tjime."

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor hurried and walked beside the Cizerack who was leading her to the freighter. She lofted a brow and wondered to herself what she was talking about.

"Alright...I trust you...."

The Knight said softly and continued following as rows of the platoon flanked them and led them to the freighter. She had completely forgotten about Liam...and wondered why he had taken off. It was no matter, now...she was at the mercy of these felines...

"Ja'Seenja'Kaa!"

At her command, the male soldiers escorted Xazor into the freighter, as she followed behind. The gangplank slid into the ship, and with a bellowing of engines, the freighter roared into the sky, accelerating away from Dantooine. The interior of the freighter was utilitarian and spartan, with rough edges and dim, orange lighting. The soldiers took their seats, a grim silence around them. There was no chatter, not even a whisper. Among the five female officers, there was an equal tense silence, save for the communication between the pilot and copilot as they maneuvered the vessel toward the nearest hyperspace lane. The others eyed Xazor with weary eyes hardened by suspicion.

Xazor became tense as she realized that they were leaving Dantooine. She sighed, knowing that she still had mental connection with Liam...but she would not use it. It was time to take care of herself...by herself. The Knight's eyes searched the faces of the Cizerack guards around her. They too seemed a bit edgy...and the air surrounding them was tense as well. Xazor called on the Force and sent it through her body to calm her nerves. She took a deep breath and turned to the female who had commanded her...help...or so she had said.

"I do not wish to be disrespectful....but I would really like to know what you will have with me. I...I am not forrda for you or anyone here if that is what you were thinking about...."

The Knight paused, trying to choose her words carefully. The last thing that she wanted to do was upset a whole freighter of felines. Sighing once again, her eyes met those of the female.

"Just know that if anyone tries to harm me...I will do whatever it takes to protect myself. I am a very powerful Garou Knight...so be aware. If you have no shady intentions, then I am more than willing to help you with whatever you request."

With those words she became silent, watching the female and the other guards around her. It was still strange to her how the males were always subordinate of the females...for in her rightful pack, it was not as such...the males and females worked together, but were under the protection of the males. The Knight continued letting these thoughts flow through her mind as their flight continued on....

"Do all Garrrou talk thjisss much? Orrr jussst jyou?"

The lead female looked at Xazor contemptuously, then relented.

"We need jyourrr help. We have a sssmall colonjy on jIvea Fourrr. A week ago, we werrre attacked jin brrrutal fassshjion bjy forrrce ussserrrsss."

She pointed to Xazor's weapon.

"Thejy carrrrrrjied thossse. Thejirrr numberrrsss werrre grrreat, and thejy have managed to nearrrljy wjipe usss out. Therrre arrre lessssss than 200 colonjissstsss left, and we arrre grrrowjing desssperrrate."

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor sighed at the female's words. Indeed, she had said too much so she remained quiet and listened as she spoke. Concern etched the Jedi's features as she eyed the Cizeracks around her. A Force user wiping out the Ciz...... she thought to herself. It did not seem right to her.....for it wasn't.

"I'll do whatever you wish. I can talk to them.....I'll go in secret or...or something. Something has to be done. This has to be stopped."

She said softly as she thought about this situation for a moment. It was very serious and she would do something about it no matter what happened.....

"We need jyou to teach usss thejirrr weaknessssssesss, ssso we can dessstrrrojy them."

The commanding female's ears folded back slightly. She was deadly serious, and there would be no compromises in this fight.

[Xazor Elessar]

"Teach you their weakness? There are so many possibilities though. It depends on what type of Force user they are.....are they Dark Jedi or Sith? It would help if they were Sith.......for I was once one. In what manner are they attacking and from where?"

Questions poured through Xazor's mind now. She could help them....a few of these problems had to be answered first, though.

Liam had crawled through the grass and into the frieghter as the female was speaking to Xaz. As he was looking around for clues as to why the Ciz had landed on Dantooine, they all began to re-enter the ship.

He hid behind what looked like a crate in the corner and kept as quiet as he could as he felt the ship lift off.
