The best place I ever went to that served fried chicken is up in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Its called the Apple Barn. Wonderful food...I'd recommend it to anyone.

And here I was thinking I was living in a place caught in a time warp - one of the taxi's is horse drawn and the bar's have hitching posts. Miami restaurants are great! I don't remember it having a sucktastic qualities when I was younger. I thought it was pretty cool, still do. The things I miss about Miami the most: the cuban food, the planetarium, metro zoo, the everglades (although technically that's not miami), my friends, and my son - not necessarily in that order!
Maybe you and Shawn could get together and fed ex me some roast pork, black beans & rice, fried plantains, and some cafe con leche - preferably from Lila's Restaurant (are they still in business?).
