Well this is a shock MIB2 made only 19 million that is a little bit of a surprise, people were saying it would make 30 on Wed, which I did think was nuts, I thought it would do 20-25 at the most. It could get better today and the weekend, but it won't get as high as some people thought it could. No word on how AOTC did, was not in the top 10 but they don't give out figures for films below that generally, except on Monday.

MIB2's performance was terrible. It showed on 3 screens at my theater, and not a single show sold out on wednesday, which is bizarre, because we usually can sell out almost any show, on any given day.

Well Wed, wasn't a holiday so that could have had something to do with, still it out preformed, Mr Deeds by 15 million so it could still rebound, it should make 100 million in 5 days but it will defently fall quick, I expect it to barely make 200 million and thats about it. Curious has anybody seen it yet? I was planning on going to see it tomorrow, regardless of what the critics say.

You guys act like it did awful when I think it did way better than it should have. Hell, the theater I went to was barely 10% full at a 2:30 showing. It was a huge theater, but it doesn't matter, TPM or AOTC would have sold out that showing no problem, and this movie couldn't even fill it a pitiful 25%.

I thought it would make about $10M opening day. I'm very surprised it even came close to $20M, that's good.

It'll probably make $100 million for five days.

I took my son to the movies today. Before going I went online for show times and the new times were not up at www.fandango.com . For awhile I thought the theater wasn't playing MIB2. I think today should be a bit stronger and $100M in 5 is doable. But the big guesses, mine included, are definitely way off.

Well, I was predicting $15 millionish, so it looks to me like it's doing very well. I guess it's just a matter of expectations, but certainly wouldn't call $19 million terrible. :|

19 milion aint bad, aint bad at all. It's only extreme openings like Spiderman that drive up expectations after all. 19 million is pretty good

Hey my guess was way off too, I looked at Lee's everybody elses and went with it, 19 million as I said isn't bad it will do better today and this weekend and should do over 100 million, as far as the other movies, its hard to say its log jam from 2-5 so there could be some movement there in this weekend, I would be surprised to see Like Mike drop to 5th. As far as AOTC it probably finished 12 (I am guessing) probably made around .500 hopefully because that would be great considering how many theaters it lost, but there is no way to tell unless there is some site that give out that kind of information.

Well it looks MIB2 won't make a 100 in 5 days probably in the 90ish range.

I think it might be below 90 million. I think Sunday is going to drag it down.

Well if the estamate is right than it just barely made 90 million that is not as high as I thought it would do.

If the estimate drops 2 million when the final numbers come out, then I win the double points for the number one movie. (in the CCnet contest)
