Well, if the issue is the sabre ... then it is up to the player if it is lost or not.

Course, he could just go find it later if it is possible

I think the thing is, technically, the other now should lose if there is any sense, as he is sabreless but she isnt.

Obiwan didn't go out like a weenie when Jango and Boba caused him to lose his saber. He broke out that crazy kung fu stuff :)
